I'm honestly not sure what to think........I think he hs been dealing with alot of very heavy issues since Eddie died. Depression, questioning life all of that sorta stuff...... It's hard to say what happened but it appears he had alot of really bad things happen to him in a row and I guess it was to much for him but I dunno I'm just rambling through thoughts of what I'd think.

I had that dream but then I screwed up my knee.........sometimes I still wish i could pursue that which tells me I'm not that smart or I have an love for wrestling that is probably unhealthy at times that I would want to do that to myself.

Sorry...but I have zero sympathy for this asshole A week from now, people will go back to the regular routine(i.e. Cena sucks, Triple H is ruining the WWE, I <3 Val Venis etc..) and it will be forgotten. Sad, but true. It's just another example of how you shouldn't become overly attached to entertainers that you don't know a damn thing about. Kind of amusing that of all the known and percieved scumbags in the WWE, the biggest dirtball of them all turned out to be the all-time IWC fan favorite. It's the ultimate irony and it shows that wrestling really is what we all think it is a truly sleazy business pretty much on the level of porn for the stuff that goes down. Even a man we thought we could respect in the end was no better........there probably are no good people in the business and it's best to accept that and not put them on personal pedestals for anything other than what they do in the ring.

We'll see in about a month......I just think some of us overestimate wrestling n the grand scheme of things. This was posted and some other boards I read and met with responses like "not surprised they're all roided up violent morons anyway" People just assuming shit like this happens alot........and also that anyone that chooses that as a career path has serious mental issues all sorts of stuff like that.

If one of your best friends had supposedly done this early in the process you may be in denial to yourself and just be upset he's gone first and then the other stuff comes a bit later.......it is alot to deal with.

I think he's a bit off honestly.......this isn't it.......the wrestling business is a fucked up world. All the people affected will move on and worry about themselves again like always.

If a worker ever brings up a union they will totally be black balled and the workers will not stand together.......that guy will be fired and there will be 20 guys who line up to take his spot. Agreed, the business is too cutthroat and the workers are too self-interested for a union to work for any length of time. Is Congress able to force a union upon them? I doubt it would ever work it's not like baseball.....there's all these indys guys working all over the place.......it just doesn't really seem feasable or something congress would even care enough about.

I can only imagine what people who were close with him think, as fans this is hard to imagine, I just can't imagine what people who were his friends are thinking now.

It is clear Vince can't/won't police the business himself. The only way things would change is if the congress got involved. This is the end of Vince, make no mistake. I consider highly melodramatic and over the top to be honest...

We all knew that but if challenged they'd simply say he had them legally by prescription as they said there.....They didn't say he had illegal drugs.

So he had steroids but they believe he had them by prescription.

There is a difference in justification and understanding what a mental illness is........it's not like trying to quit smoking or something you can just control.

Agreed, Chris Benoit put on some of the best wrestling matches ever, and it's fucked up to think that someone who was so well respected from all of us could do such a sick thing. I'll always look back at him differently now, but that's not to say I'm trashing all of my Benoit stuff This is hard for me, words really can't explain but in 10 years when I watch a match or remember him I'll hope I remember him for more than just this. Of course if I ever have children and they become fans it would be really awkward telling them about the guy that to me was wrestling and was one of my hero's..........ok I don't wanna think about that.

Ah here we go.......look I'm not here trumpeting his innocent, I don't really know. But the reasons I liked Benoit for what he did in the ring not what he did in his personal life.......I have fully seperated those, tihs is a sad and horrible thing but I'm not going to go burn my DVD's or forget how much I enjoyed him.
