And of course most of those UFC shows and their wrestling show don't do aswell as WWE programming....

I've talked to about 15 people that had no interest in ordering any WWE PPV's anymore and since I told them about this they all reacted with "oh shit really? I think I may buy that one"

According to the Wrestling Observer issue dated June 11th, it is slated to be 'one to three matches on the card', featuring Jackass stars as babyfaces, against WWE heels. At this point, Steve O, Chris Pontius, Wee-Man, Bam Magera, Ryan Dunn, and Preston Lacey are all signed up for it. Johnny Knoxville has indicated he is up for it, but has not signed for it as of yet. Shane McMahon is the one spearheading the angle. HHH and Stephanie were vehemently against their involvement. Shane talked Vince into doing it, as well as Bonnie Hammer from the USA Network, who wanted more celebrity involvement on Raw, due to the recent flat ratings after WM23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wonder what that says for all the people that like Shane and hate Stephanie....I also found this post and will just use it because I think it sums up well what alot of the issues with this are..... The reason I see this thing falling apart is that the guys in jack-ass are all about showing no respect for anyone including themselves. Pro-wrestlers are insecure guys with an embarassing job. They are all about needing to be treated with respect. Steve O asks for no"respect", fuck he demands it. Steve-O already pissed people off the first day he shows up. No way your backstage leaders will be able to deal with lack of proper respect for more than two weeks. HHH and Stephanie were vehemently against their involvement. They are offended-- the fans of the promotion that they created are offended. That should come as no surprise.

I think the Jackass guys will surely be more entertaining than Trump was........

Jackass The Sequel was both a critical and commercial hit, grossing 72 million, with an opening of almost 30 million, and scoring generally favourable reviews according to metacritic. It's come to the point that there are people who don't like Jackass, hate guys like Knoxville, Bam and Steve-O and question why people like them the show why it makes money or why it's popular. So obviously I expect anyone like that to be totally pissed they're going to be on wrestling, while these guys are much more well know than any wrestler is at the moment...... I bet more people know who Steve-O is than John Cena.

Steve-O is probably more entertaining than most of the roster is, so at this point I'm not concerned about it. Maybe the WWE thinks those devoted fans will check out the PPV to see them? Something atleast mildly entertaining should come from it. Hell the Steve-O/Pontius, Umaga stuff from Raw was greatness to watch, and amused me more than anything on that show.

I don't even know if I buy that because I thought that when they put the 2nd movie out, that no one gave a shit anymore and........it made alot of money and was #1. It appears if they put the show back on or made more movies they'd still do well.

Considering how popular jackass was on MTV and how much money those movies made.....SOMEONE gives a shit about them. 1 of their movies made more money than all the WWE movies combined. I however do enjoy how Jingus and Pefection have arrived to tell us how horrid the WWE is though, we were apparently lacking those posters.
