source: www.f4wonline.com Stephanie McMahon was promoted to the role where she decides who gets hired and who gets fired last week. Johnny Ace answers to her now, or she can overrule him on a decision if she wants. She's really making use of her title now, as she fired eight people within one week after there weren't any cuts since before WrestleMania. Stephanie's first victims ended up being Rob Conway and 2 Cold Scorpio, who were released on 5/11. Scorpio had spent months and months sitting at home doing nothing, so this was no surprise. Conway was a surprise because he's a good worker and always had a good attitude. Stephanie felt Conway was a "jobber for life" and would never draw any money, and wanted to make room for more developmental talents to be called up. Johnny Ace had to be the "bad cop" (which is his new role, as if he didn't have enough heat already), and made things worse for himself by lying, saying creative couldn't come up with anything for Conway to do. The problem was that creative had come up with something for him, a reunited La Resistance on ECW. Conway had just recently received his new gear when Ace told him there were no ideas. Many people in the company were very unhappy with the call since they felt he could have made a great teacher in Louisville. Stephanie's taking her new role very seriously and she really wants to make her mark. Expect to see some more cuts within the next few days/weeks. Had Stephanie not been promoted, the individuals recently released would probably still be around, or at least a little while longer. sources: Pro Wrestling Torch, Wrestling Observer As reported earlier, Rob Conway, Too Cold Scorpio and Vito were recently released from their WWE contracts. These are considered part of Stephanie McMahon's house cleaning moves to show that she's putting her stamp on the roster now that John Laurinaitis reports to her, not Vince McMahon, on a daily basis. She has a much greater influence on roster moves than before, as unless it's someone on the top third of the card, Vince is probably going to rubberstamp any roster decision she makes. That wasn't the case with John Laurinaitis' recommendations to Vince in the past.

As far as I know Knox is still employed, and Palumbo had been doing the Taker biker shit on his dark match entrances. For all we know Kevin Thorn may be next and just hasn't answered his phone.
-
He's in the 'E' again? He has been for over a year, he's been doing developmental territory and dark match work.........he has his long haired mop look back.
-
So who's next.......... Balls Mahoney Chuck Palumbo Viscera Val Venis Any of the former SS guys like Nemeth.........several more may be coming. Hell all those guys could be released seeing as they don't do much.
-
Here's a pic of Angel Williams......
-
Val Venis and Funaki heard this news and got real scared.
-
She's a pretty blonde woman that has some talent.........I'm really surprised they cut her she does have a WWE look.
-
They fired Angel Williams too?
-
Why the hell would they release Ariel...
-
It doesn't really matter.........it just invokes a 90 day no compete clause that wouldn't have been invoked if he had worked till the end of his deal. RVD likely wanted to take the summer off anyway, no harm no foul.
-
Conway and Dinsmore both had that rep forever in OVW that they were great workers and teachers.........of course the WWE doesn't seem to really care on either count with both of them.
-
Other than the WWE caved to every single one of RVD's demands except the extended time off one............I will seriously laugh at anyone who blames the WWE for this......when a guy asks for 10 things and they agree to 9 and he still refuses to sign, guess who that's on.
-
Elijah Burke disagrees with you but hey...
-
It's not wise for the WWE to let guys dictate to them having long periods of time off.........the WWE is a business, they offered him more money pretty much everything he wanted other than the time off.
-
It's because he asked for extended time off upon resigning........like 6 months. They told him it sets a bad precedent when they have to sign other guys to new contracts which is well true.
-
You run the risk that jobbing him could make him a more over sympathetic character........I also think there's some thought of this ending on good terms on both sides because Rob may get out there and change his mind and decide he wants to come back.
-
They're such dicks that they offered RVD a raise in his new contract........... Orton may do stupid shit but, he hasn't been arrested, especially while he was champion. RVD brought alot of the stuff on himself but in the end he's the one who declined a very good contract offer, it's on him.
-
Yea it's Vince's fault they offered RVD a very good contract and he declined it............It's also Vince's fault that when they pushed RVD that RVD totally fucked it up....... Let's just blame Vince though makes it easier.
-
Are you shocked? The WWE has been about "sending the crowd home happy" for awhile now.........anytime they do something that isn't on TV, Cena is gonna own everyone.
-
Listen to casual Joe who buys PPV's and watches the WWE talk, they think Raw is the best show and Smackdown sucks, it's sad but true. Names>Quality to alot of people.

Edge 1 upped Triple H, simple as that he wanted away from Triple H and got it, Triple H didn't want that so you see the result.
-
He's dealing with HHH and HBK.....no one has pull to that level. Yea H I don't wanna do that "yea fuck you my wife is your boss" Edge is probably fortunate things worked out they did or he'd have been Triple H's jobber bitch in a few months....
-
It's probably his way of trying to keep them both happy, Edge wanted to avoid working with H in the worst way possible. Either way anyone who thinks Triple H doesn't have pull and doesn't have a desire to bury people doesn't pay attention....... Edge was way over as a heel.......he burried him in the DX angle....wanted to do it again when he came back and basically wanted to make Edge a non factor as a ME then when Edge gets what he wants and off of Raw and away from all that Triple H basically got really pissed off last week and now you see the result.
-
Triple H wanted Edge to be one of his job bitches when he comes back.........he was totally against Edge being moved to Smackdown and winning the title......... Read between the lines....
-
Cut to HHH laughing........nice bury job on Edge there.
