No chance in hell. Not at Wrestlemania. You think they'd throw that Taker streak away just for the sake of Edge beating Taker who's already wrestled a match? Taker himself would tell you no. 'Taker? No. Edge pulling that against Shawn would work on many levels. Cena and Shawn go to a hard fight with Shawn getting the flukey finish. Crowd loves it, Edge interupts and kills that dream dead. Shawn gets his moment taken away in an instant (You could even throw in a cute "Now, he knows how Bret feels" shot) and it continues to build for the DX/RRKO feud when HHH returns. Sets up Edge/Michaels as the main program for a couple months instead of wondering what to do with Cena after that. That's actually an inventive good idea...WWE would never do anything like that, they also seem to have problems with heel champs leaving Mania unless they're named Triple H. If they'd did that spot, it wouldn't be the main event. Tista/Taker is the main event anyways. Open with the MitB match, put Shawn/Cena 7th on the card and since it'll piss the fans off, you'll need at least 2 matches as buffers or time filler before the actual Main Event. However, HHH leaving with the title was the right call still to this day. It was a risk but it worked but I don't think it works today or almost any other time. It's still a better idea than what they'll probably do seeing as Cena or HBK either one will end up working a program that is almost identical to one they already worked.

It's hilarious they keep booking this match considering Mickie James and Melina don't like each other in reality.

Edge is better to end that streak than just about anyone else on the roster.......better than Batista anyway.

This is WWE they probably aren't even thinking that far in advance and haven't decided if Batista is going to win or not......hell I picture some writer being like "but they are on different shows we can't do streak vs streak"

I think Edge going 6-0 at WM and being 4-0 in ladder matches (only one win wasn't a stunt match) doesn't lend much to that streak but either is beating Orton. All they have to say is he's undefeated at Mania, most fans won't remember what kinda matches he's won. Uh oh..........are they gonna have Edge lose his streak and totally blow that huge Taker match next year......well I guess Taker could lose and blow it too.
