Maybe I remember it incorrectly, but when his contract was nearly up in late 2003 I could have sworn he was given a decent IC title run as an incentive to re-sign, rather than just being jobbed until he did. He wasn't in a position to go to another company that has TV......he also hadn't gotten arrested while being champion. Thing's have changed........

Usually scaffold matches involve alot of crawling around........Russo tried this bullshit in WCW with Shane Douglas and Kidman I believe......it was awful. All they did was crawl around on the scaffold for 10 minutes.

I have a comment to make about new fans watching TNA.......I got a friend of mine to check it out and not even a minute in this was the comment I heard "What is with this stupid fucking ring...I hate this ring". Then followed alot of this is awful it's like a D rate WWE with shittier guys....what makes it funnier is for all the bad booking that he hated.....the ring was the thing he hated the most. How many people do you think tune into TNA see that ring and that's it?

Because it's footage from backstage at their shows........basically Vince and everyone in his video could sue him for showing these things without their permission. The IWGP Heavyweight Champion, who first appeared in TNA last year, has been wanting to return to America for a while, after he won many new fans during his last stay. President Simon is likely to start talks with TNA soon, and Tanahashi's regular participation on TNA events is almost definite. Since TNA has an irregular TV/PPV schedule right now, which doesn't involve long tours, Tanahashi can be a regular for the promotion without missing New Japan shows. The possibility has emerged of Tanahashi making his TNA return in April, and the young ace of Japanese wrestling said he wants to sell his name to the world. One of the producers of the show and the guy who pitched the idea to MTV is Kevin Kleinrock who worked in XPW......I think that explains all the XPW stuff.

With AJ Styles' recent heel turn and Scott Steiner returning to TNA next month as Christian Cage's enforcer for his match against Kurt Angle, the steps are already being taken to align the foursome. Christian Cage will fill the "Ric Flair" role as the star, AJ Styles as the pure athelete, Tyson Tomko as the powerful bigman and Scott Steiner serving as the veteran and another enforcer. Babyfaces like Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels will have their hands full with this faction, whose top priority will be keeping the NWA Title on Christian Cage. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- According to reports, there is talk that Samoa Joe is in for a major push in the next few weeks. So, it looks like things could get rolling for Joe starting with the Against All Odds PPV this Sunday and the TV tapings that follow it. Given the recent information about his departure from Ring of Honor, this news shouldn't come as a big surprise and looks to be the reason why TNA never fully took Joe to the top during his stay with the company.
