John Cena just went on Larry King to mention he's being drug tested for the 7th time RIGHT NOW. UPDATE: Yesterday, Cor Von apparently told Chavo Guerrero that he loved him. Chavo thought it was "out of context" for Monty to do that without POUNCING first.

WWE has just released a press release stating that Cor Von's no show is definitely a DELIBERATE act, not an act of rage.

I think I just saw Debra on Hannity and Colmes saying Cor Von pointed a gun at her eariler today, but she was afraid to tell anyone until NOW.

I heard Nancy Grace mention that CorVon's no-show could be because he was upset over being demoted from TNA to ECW.

I tried asking Lex Luger about it and he didn't know. that is gold i tried asking Ultimate Warrior and he babbled incoherently for 30 minutes straight I called Iron Sheik and all he could talk about was fucking Brown in the ass.

That's a pretty good feud right there, to me at least. How long is Edge supposed to be out? Also, why the quick battle royal? Why not a quick 4 man tournament or a Final Four type match? The media wants to make it out to be that he was a roided up monster, and he killed his family because of it. And he was a roided up monster because Vince McMahon pushes his stars too hard. I agree with part of it, but not all of it. I guess they just want to keep pushing it over and over until everyone goes along with it. I find it interesting how every media outlet, from FOX News to CNN to MSNBC to Drudge is reporting the same thing, with the word "steroids" all over the place. Can't there be some intelligent, truthful reporting?

MSNBC: "Steroids found in body of Pro-Wrestler Chris Benoit". The anchor repeated the same thing: "He had steroids in his system when he killed his wife and son. Did these steroids cause these deaths? More after this....." It never ends.....Jericho was exactly right, they pick a hot button word and run with it. Even though it was TESTOSTERONE in his system that could have been because he couldn't get it up, it has been morphed into STEROIDS, because it matches what they've been talking about.

So it wasn't roid rage. What a shock. Let's see what the media does now....probably drop the story. Edit: They're still pushing it. Every question so far has been about if this testosterone caused him to go into a rage. Every FOX News blurb at the bottom is about steroids.

It's about to start. FOX News has a "expert" with a foreign accent who says it's "obviously a textbook case" of steroids. What a shock.

So, is this the reason behind Edge's "big announcement" concerning the WHT? And it will be either Batista, Finlay, Khali, or Henry who gets the belt if he does vacate it. I'm guessing it will be one of the last two.

I think the WWE's reaction to this will be interesting. If no steroids are found in his system (fat chance), look for a big "press release" on the frontpage of WWE.com about how right they were about it being a deliberate act, with another picture of a scowling Benoit. If they DO find steroids, expect the big story to remain Cena/Lashley for this Sunday, as all hell will be set to break loose. The media will continue to press/blame steroids no matter what the outcome is. Expect the first reporter question to the pathologist to be if he thinks steroids are to blame. It doesn't matter if Benoit was roided up beyond comprehension or if he had the equivilant of half a pill in him-the media will take that and run with it. Mero will come back with 145 dead wrestler names on a piece of paper. Nancy Grace will interview somebody new each night this week (I'm betting on Disco Inferno, DDP and Kimberly (taking time to mention their Yoga book), and Glacier). It will be 3 times as worse as it has been. Even if no steroids are found in his system, they'll still blame them. They'll have some forensic "expert" on to talk about how the steroids could have escaped his system in the 24 hours after he hung himself. Debra will be back to say that Austin once beat her in a roid rage for 8 days straight after taking one steroid pill, blah blah blah. They were blaming steroids immediately after all this happened. On that Monday night, FOX News' front page had a photo of Benoit, a message announcing the bodies had been found, and a link that just said "Steroids?" right under it. They have an agenda, and they aren't going to abandon it in light of actual medical fact. That would be good reporting! The whole Wikipedia deal was a perfect example of dumbass media coverage. It was obvious to anyone with a brain that it was some idiot trying to be funny, but they totally ran with it, trying to turn it into something bigger. That and Nancy Grace saying Benoit was depressed about being demoted to RAW. Ugh. Get ready. Here we go. Well, in 3 hours, get ready.

No, I agree the business is fucked up. Change is needed. I was talking more about the media and how they have put the blame on steroids since even before it was revealed they were found in the house (FOX News and MSNBC both had big headlines on their front page mentioning "Roid Rage" and "Steroids" on MONDAY night). They can't delve into the psychological aspect of it all, or actually do research on it (demoted to RAW?) because that's too complicated. So they keep beating the same drum over and over, hoping everyone will agree with them. Man, I hate the fucking media. This is what you get with THREE (at least) 24 hour news channels.

You know, although it's doubtful, I really really hope the toxicology report comes back on Benoit showing he had no steroids and no drugs in his system. But the sad (and irritating) thing is that Nancy Grace and Hannity and all the others will just focus on something else, like brain trauma caused by too many headbutts or something. It can't be just cut and dry that Benoit was psycho. Jericho's entire statement about caffeene and steroids tonight sums it up perfectly. I really wish Cena and others would continue to go on other shows and defend the product, at least against the roid rage thing--because steroids didn't cause this, even if Benoit was taking them. I'm sure they won't because they are more likely to be ambushed, cut off or made to look bad on Nancy Grace than on Larry King. I agree that some sort of reform and change is needed, but I'm tired of seeing these washed up, bitter ex WWF wrestlers and ex-wives trashing the business as some circus sideshow with roided up monsters.

What do they ask her at this point? What is the point in booking her again?
