So if you don't want to wrestle as, say, Cena: SvR 08: You pick one of the twenty or so other guys or any CAW to go through the one linear storyline with. WM2000/No Mercy: You pick one of anybody else on the roster including CAWs to go through the various match strings/storylines. SvR 09: You don't play 1/6 of the available story mode.

So THQ fixes "Story mode is repetitive" by adding limits to the number of people you can use, so now you're down to 5 singles & a tag team. No Mercy, on the other hand, gave you the same 'repetitive' storylines regardless of who you used, but you could use anybody in any storyline.

Merriman's getting his knee put back together and is giving up the rest of 08 to do it. Guess going 0-1 was just too much for him to bear.

Head Coach is a blast, but my love of the Draft setup has been somewhat quelled by the fact that I've gone through it about 8 times and therefore have a general idea of who's a good player, who's a good prospect and when they'll go in the draft. It's not as much fun when you know that Matt Ryan's not worth drafting because you can get Woodson or Johnson with better potential in the 4th round or later (Woodson went undrafted once, and then the last playthrough the Cowboys got him in the 3rd round, so who knows.)

So, making him walk off the field and into the locker room (including down the stairs): good idea, bad idea?

I think the champion forfeits the belt as soon as the match starts (hence why anyone who scores the fall is the "current champion").

I picked up Castle Crashers...I think I'm level 17 on the Blue Knight and just now increasing magic I didn't know it was the most powerful attack until like level 15 when I went back to the castle for the first time. Also, I'm missing that golden spyglass and having to search every world to find it, that kinda blows.

I had 1GB of RAM, and last night after I shut down I put in another 1GB; wake up today, boot it up, and BIOS & XP tell me I have 512MB installed. msinfo32 tells me I have 1024MB installed. I turn it off, switch the slots around and now I have 1.5GB installed according to System, but 3GB installed via msinfo32. Four different readings, all of them wrong. Either Microsoft sucks or the guy on ebay sent me a 512 instead of a 1024.

Is that LSU/App State game televised anywhere?

I realize that, but if somebody on the team wants to buy it we kinda need to keep it in the TSM bloodline, so to speak. If it's sold to somebody else because fodder's kicked out then that's the end of it. It was talked about a couple pages ago, don't know if whoever was interested then is still interested now.
