Yes, they clean it. There was a big-ass stink about a guy who literally took his console around getting it autographed, and they deliberately erased every speck of autographing off of it when he sent it in for repair, even though it was obviously something valuable and he even included a "Do not erase" note. I don't think him calling off the wedding will get her to bring back Taker. I do think that this is the beginning of the Vickie/Edge break up, and it will end with her somehow bringing back Taker. I'm trying to pick matches that won't make other DVDs. I'm keeping the first match in the 80s, and Snuka/Muraco with the cage dive, but my #3 80s match was Honky taking the belt over Steamboat. That match won't make other DVD sets like Savage/Steamboat WM3 will. I don't even know why Warrior/Honky is a choice, that match was what, 45 seconds? 90s I went Razor/Douglas, Austin/Rock and Chyna/Jarrett (even though there's no way in hell the third match makes the DVD) 2000 I went Flair/HHH in a cage, Van Dam v Hardy and for some reason Marella v Umaga in Italy.

I think Henry/Show/Kane is going to be surprisingly watchable. It won't burn the house down but it'll be better than it sounds. They probably did what we should have done, and just trucked in a bunch of low levels a season or two ago and they just constantly leveled from seeing the field. We've been running the bare minimum of humans at pretty much every position ever since we got the team, and now it's starting to show.

Brilliant effort by Turkey throughout the tournament. 2-2 going into the 90th minute with that many guys unavailable to play, we're left to wonder what could have been. They've got a fan in me, though, I love the dramatics.

Agreed. I'd really like to see, for example, a battle royal of all the wrestlers that were drafted throughout the show as the main event, with two draft picks on the line for whatever brand won the match. It would open the door for two brands to use a "You let us down on your first night on the brand" storyline on a guy, and the third brand could have a "You're the hero, you won that match and got us ___ & ____!" storyline going, and that's not including any "Why'd you toss me out, we're on the same brand!" feuds.

The PPV, while a cool way to honor the past champions they'd never mention otherwise (Rick Martel comes to mind), ends up cheapening all the non-top titles as it points out how worthless they are to require a specialized PPV to get them defended...defended period, actually. I shudder to think how bad the company would look if they suddenly remembered their "Titles must be defended every thirty days or be vacated" rule.

I could never get recruiting to work worth a shit. It just felt like no matter what I did I couldn't get anybody, so I gave up on it. As it is I just snagged MVP 05 for the PC, and thanks to some fancy updating I've got 2008 rosters, teams & unis (yet they couldn't fix the Shea glitch where the apple comes up on HRs and the home team's Runs and Hits counters both displayed the team's hits).
