He did it again tonight! They showed about 2 minutes of Lawler v. Hennig for the AWA title. Lawler wins with a slingshot into the turnbuckle...my, have times changed. Highlight of the night: Greg Gagne "catches fire" with a dropkick and a hiptoss...just enough to trigger Lee Marshall to start a "LOOK AT THE RAPID FIRE ACTION YOU CAN ONLY SEE IN THE AWA" schtick. At the precise moment he starts the schtick, the camera swaps to ringside to show a calm-faced, almost bored Gagne weakly holding an armbar on Paul Diamond. Reminded me of all those stories about Owen Hart no-selling submission holds by pretending to smoke a cigarette, yawning, or feigning a nap on house shows just to crack up whoever his tag partner was (usually Bulldog is cited).

Just the answer: Third side's just shy of 6.75 feet long. How you get it: You've got an isosceles triangle, so you need to bisect the 26 degree angle and make two right triangles; you know the hypotenuse (15 feet), you know an angle (13 degrees, half of the 26 between the 15-foot sides), so you get: (sin 13) * 15 = x x ~ 3.375 But since you bisected the angle, you also bisected the third side of your original triangle, so you need to double that to get the whole thing. 2x ~ 6.75

I would have gone with "Brain tumors float, what was he supposed to do?", personally.

You're bad at making a CB Compare the Pass Defense bars of Annie ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=44040 ) and my CB ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=296258 ) Jumping isn't doing anything for you; beyond that I can't figure out what's costing you the pass defense as you've got a lead in every stat besides Stamina and a minor one in Agility.

William Regal Suspended for 60 Days

We don't even know what got him. Could have been a 'legit' pain pill he couldn't immediately produce a prescription for. -

Hassan made me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan. The guy comes out, he's Arab-American, he's from Detroit (Syracuse, really, but Detroit has a lot of Arab-Americans), he tells the truth about prejudiced Americans fearing and disliking him based on his religion & his skin color. WWE fans boo him, and even worse, they chant "USA". Unrelated note, I still get a kick out of how much heat Volkoff's national anthem got a couple months back, and especially how fast the crowd chanted "USA" when Sheik deliberately slurred "Shuttahellup, don't say you essa, you essa!" -
Nice to see that it takes five arrests or a missed voluntary workout due to death in the family to lose your job with the Bengals. He should file the grievance. He won't, because he's trying to rebuild his image and having that long of a suspension on top of a filed grievance would hurt him even more in trying to find a new team, but he got screwed, plain and simple.

Man, I feel a lot better about guessing they'd go non-finish with Edge/Taker now that it actually happened. On that note, whose bright idea was it to go four weeks without a champion on Smackdown?

Vince is still afraid of over-establishing two guys as a team. Look how poorly the Dudleyz split turned out, look at how the "new" Legions of Doom worked when they tried to add Droz and replace Hawk with Heidenreich, the New Age Outlaws were boring as hell as singles competitors, Strike Force's split led Martel & Santana to IC title chases but no actual victories...once you establish two guys as part of a team to that extent, they need to be Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels quality workers to be able to break free from that "I liked them better when they were *insert tag team name*" stigma. -

Tag teams are only there to get guys over to the midcard/upper midcard border, and then they break up. It's easier if they've been billed independently of one another than if they had some catchy team name. -
The guy who signed my DT to a two-year deal right out of the box is giving up on players and is going to build his own team; in effect, my DT's getting cut. I'm torn between trying to find a deal for the last 18 days (or however many are left when he cuts me) where I can get released in the offseason and sign on with a new team that's going to start him, or just trying to scrimp and save every in-game dollar I can and sit out for the rest of the season to be sure I'm not going to get trapped.

I'm bothered that they can't bother to announce Colin Delaney is "From Rochester, New York", yet they make time to let me know that Matt Striker is "A former Social Studies teacher in New York City". He doesn't live in New York City any more, he doesn't WORK as a Social Studies teacher and he doesn't work in New York City any more, why bother with it? -
Every time I shoot a pigeon, I get cops on my ass for "firearm discharge"...which means I either outrun them or die, because I'm not buying all my guns again, fuck that nonsense.

Sign the WR at the very least. Horowitz wins.

Not that anybody besides me gives a shit about horse racing, but no horse is winning the Triple Crown until they stop breeding them for pure speed and fragile ankles. Horses are faster, undoubtedly, but they can't hold up for three races in that length of time.

Special teams kills energy, and we've got mostly starters on the kicking & return game. It may not affect everyone energy-wise after the game (knocking them below 70, I mean) but it certainly drains in-game energy and that'll cost them plays we can't afford to have them lose. I'd rather see CPUs play special teams than have CPUs playing defense.
-
Well, the starters stayed in the whole game....all 40-something offensive plays of it. And I don't know who owns Burnie Sidwell, but if he doesn't log in in the next day or so his backup FB is going to leave the team due to contract expiration.

Who really ran over Austin? Monkey nipples. The Rock was right! I asked who Vince's real bastard son is/was; the first picture made no sense but since others didn't cheat and take picture #2, I won't either.

It's not ragdoll physics, it's the same engine as GTA IV used. Other than that...it doesn't have to be the Madden Killer, every single clip into Madden's sales is one more reason Goodell & the NFL could/would/should not renew the exclusivity deal. And having played Madden on the DS, Tecmo cannot update that game fast enough.
-
I would guess it's an energy issue from having just one set of backups in the secondary (CPUs at that), but without knowing the tactics or the exact energy levels I could just be talking out my ass.

Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009

Recruiting is faster, but no I-AA. FCS *region* once again. -
Our secondary got torched. We need human backup safeties and probably at least one more human corner, the CPU isn't going to cut it.

I just pause the game and mark a waypoint somewhere near where the green dot is on the map. It's not exact by any means, and I agree in wishing you could upload the maps to your phone and mark things that way. It's going to be a bitch to hunt down those last 198 pigeons.
