banky is on the clock, with UndertakerHart, PujolJunkie and HarleyQuinn due up. Are we following NFL Draft overclock rules, where if somebody takes too long they get "skipped" and we just keep going...but they can jump in with that pick at any point?
-
Didn't they do that exact same thing in the previous 3D/random team match, where one didn't make weight and couldn't wrestle but it didn't matter because the one making weight just used the scale as a weapon to win?

Didn't Mark Henry weigh 20 pounds more than Justin Roberts just said he did...YESTERDAY? I mean sure we admit continuity goes to shit, but losing twenty pounds in twenty-four hours? Henry's sitting on the next diet craze. -

Oh god his leg must be brok, no, wait he's fine, he's up, he's up! That reminds me of Tyler/Sprules far too much to be good for Hardy's push. -

Oh good, we get to see if that incest gimmick was a rib or not. CURB STOMP -
Honky Tonk Man. Best Intercontinental Champeen of all time. Plus Lawler just got in, so it's only fitting that Lawler induct someone else.

I take it you've taken off the faceplate and physically tried ripping the thing open?

I can't really believe people are against it when the only other viable options are either WM repeats or matches with a clear, predictable outcome. -
I don't know how Carolina's still up there, so I'll take them. I was thinking about taking them a week ago, I guess I just forgot to post it.

The Holyfield/Tyson bout that was scheduled before Tyson's rape conviction. I know they fought twice after the fact, but that was the hot ticket for the division with both men in their primes with no distractions. -

But it makes even LESS sense to go with Cena/HHH II if you're going to end up with the same result as Cena/HHH I. Why would Trips push for the match....to job again? You have to think Flair/HHH II was on the table, why would he turn down a legacy like that to repeat last year's main event? -

Maybe he bought the Hardcore belt and just took the duct tape off of it. -
So Schilling has seen three doctors; one says he needs surgery and his season (and by proxy his career) is over, one says he needs surgery but can be back by mid-July, one says he doesn't need surgery at all. Correct?

I would imagine, given the circumstances and the wording, that WWE received better offers than they had from the CW, and that points to NBC. Friday nights are a death sentence for most shows, but WWE consistently pulled respectable numbers on the definitive #5 network on a death night for programming. It might move nights, it might move hours, but it has to be staying on network television...barring a ridiculous demand from the CW I don't see why WWE would pass on their offer if they had no better choices.

The Paul Bearer spot was the one I've been waiting for since Mitchell's announcement, and I'm glad he did it. His Kurt is hit-and-miss, but the rest were pretty good.

I guess starting outfielder at Pawtucket wouldn't count as the 5th outfielder either? Gotta be sure to read the fine print when being guaranteed a starting position with the Red Sox; 3 of their 7 farm teams also bear the Red Sox name. Is that common in baseball, sharing the team name along the minor league affiliates, or are they just weird?

There didn't appear to be anyone actually driving that car. Maybe a fight that spills out into the street is grounds for cowering out of sight in Texas. It's too bad the fishermen didn't hang around. At least their cooler got some air time. Is it good or bad product placement if you get your auto repair shop's name and phone number on national TV by having a Mexican back-dropped through the windshield of the company van by a straight-edge kid from Chicago?

Thing is, they knew the spot could and would be filled by someone else. The main event spots are numbered, and they always have the same amount. If making somebody with a lot of talent/charisma look like shit means a worker that's less talented and less charismatic than you gets into the main event instead, thereby giving you tons of chances to get victories over them as a result of that lack of talent/charisma, then that's what many wrestlers will do. -
You know what they say about the guy going over on the last show before the PPV, though.

Damn, if the Mets had held his useless ass another couple years, we could've added Bedard to the rotation.
-
6/137.5 guaranteed, there's an option for 2014 (Jesus, that sounds so much farther away than seven years).

I don't know who was more likely to cave in that contract dispute. Santana, who would be trapped with the hapless Twins this year and risking injury that could cripple his career, let alone his free agent value (not to mention the fact that there's no way they're as 'good' as they have been, so he was probably set for a down year stats-wise); or the Mets, who would become a laughingstock for having a one-sided trade land them the best pitcher of the decade only to blow it by being frugal with the YEARS of the contract, rather than the dollar amount actually being paid.

Because HHH knows that should Cena get that hotshot reign, he's got a better chance than anyone else on the roster of convincing those with the power to give him a win over Cena at Mania; in which case, it wouldn't be a hotshot but simply a 'transitional championship reign' for Cena. Edited for nonsensical wording on my part, whoops. -

It's time to cut a bubble team and go back to 64, not expand the tourney. What good is expanding the field to get more teams in if you're going to have 20s, 19s, 18s and 17 seeds...when even the 16 seeds couldn't ever get past any of the ones? All it'll do is make the tournament drag longer for no reason. Old stadiums like Fenway & Wrigley: Is it time to just build a new stadium, or are these treasures that need to be preserved no matter how much the game changes around them? (Conversely, would you be OK with the Sox/Cubs moving to a new stadium if the old stadium were not torn down?) -
They might as well just pull the War Games cage out of mothballs and rechristen it the Devastation Battle Fence Enclosure System or whatever dumbass name they need to make sure they wipe their hands of the filthy, disgusting, dirty WCW affiliation the cage has all over it.
