It sucks we're paying $50 to basically play online and that's it when PC and PS3 gamers don't have to pay for it...and yet we're looking at ads and having assloads of connection problems.

Where does it go after the PPV? You've got Angle who just beat Kong, and you can throw him at any number of challengers you've established/bullshitted into the role in the meantime...but what about Kong? You established her as the most dominant female wrestler and that every other woman on the roster is either injured because of her or scared shitless and unwilling to face her for the sole reason of booking Angle/Kong...are they suddenly less injured and/or less afraid because she had a competitive match with a male Olympic gold medal winning wrestling champion? Unless you threw her in the X-Division so Mike Tenay can spew about how it's not about weight limits it's about no limits and Don West can vomit up how it's not about gender limits either.

It's what the WWE always does. The Gooker, Katie Vick, Vince is exploded...there's always some "OK, this didn't really happen, what the fuck is this" angle going on in the company. It compares to the Roger Rabbit movie. Sure, we adults know Eddie Valiant isn't smacking the shit out of a cartoon rabbit, but the kids don't know that. If you choose to look at it as "Psh, this is so green screened and fake" then it's going to suck for you, but if you say "Well it's fake, but at least the acting's good and they're telling a story I can actually give a shit about" then it's going to, at the very least, suck less. Face facts, the guy is three feet tall. If you don't go with nonsensical bookings and theft from cartoon, you're going to either bury the biggest angle of 2007 or you're going to bury every worker he works with. If those workers lose through nonsensical bullshit means they get buried less. Getting pinned by a midget is a career crippler, but if it's just bullshit you can say "Well they were just fucking around because Hornswoggle had to do something"...and if you want to shoot about it, how many wrestlers train for cartoon spots? How many wrestlers train to wrestle someone a third their size?

If your age is in double digits, Hornswoggle is not being marketed to you. In comparison to football, he's the WWE mascot like the divas are the WWE's form of cheerleaders and the wrestlers are WWE's 'players'.

I've been having CoD problems for a few weeks. Then again, I'd been playing TF2 on the 360 before I got CoD4, so it isn't like I wasn't used to bad connections and horrible lag, complete inability to find acceptable servers and the inability to remain on them if I did find one.

How can losing ever be that simple when bad officiating obviously has an impact on the game? You put yourself in a position where one or two ref calls against you give a team playing a second-string QB and second, third and fourth-string HBs a very good chance to defeat you. That said, holy christ somebody figure out how to draft HBs like the Chargers. Turner, Sproles and Naanee all made crucial plays with His Rushing Holiness on the sidelines.

It worked when I busted open Sandman during the Fatal Four-way to unlock Funk, but I haven't tested it as the one being busted open.

I mean...well, if he wrestles right before the match itself I don't think he'll be in, I agree, but if Flair/MVP is one of the first few matches I don't see how either man couldn't be rested enough to go out there 3 hours later midway through the match.

So if Blu-Ray ends up 'winning' the battle, the PS3 doesn't have the "We have Blu-Ray, 360 doesn't!" argument. They'll still have the "We come with it standard, with that you need to buy a peripheral", but I'd rather buy a peripheral drive than an entire new console.

An established name wins the Rumble this year, and I think it'll be Flair from a relatively high number (something in the 20s). It just makes sense for his next opponent to be offered a Rumble spot for that added incentive to beat Flair, it's such a perfect dick heel move for Vince to say "Well, the Rumble is technically you versus opponents, so since you have no partners in the match it falls under the 'Win or retire' stipulation" after he qualifies, it's guaranteed to snag at least some buys in that "Will this be the last time we see Ric Flair wrestle?" sense, and it sets up Flair v Orton, the Ultimate Legend versus the One Man Dynasty/Legend Killer in the "Title vs career" match everybody seems to think Taker is destined for when his time comes. It might even be used as a feeler to see if it's something that works so they know whether or not to use it with Taker. It's how Flair should go out. Putting over a main eventer on the grandest stage of them all for the richest prize in the sport, not in some nostalgia match against somebody he's faced a few dozen times over the past 20 years just for the sake of saying they're the only two men who wrestled each other at Wrestlemania and Starrcade.

I don't agree with putting a midcarder over in the Rumble. You're gambling the biggest storyline push of the year and the biggest main event on the biggest card of the year in order to potentially pop a bigger buyrate ten months later for the next Royal Rumble. If it works, great, but I can't think of many midcarders I'm dying to see step in there with Orton, Edge, Punk, Jeff, Batista, Taker, Chavo...

One of the many things I dislike about ATH is in the showdown when both people agree, but it's a blatantly obvious question that has only one real answer. If you answer the same as the first guy you get "I liked it better the first time around" and lose the point, if you answer differently it's "You can't seriously believe *stupid second answer that's as bad as the joke answers on that millionaire show*, can you?" and lose the point.

NFL Tour was released yesterday to absolutely no fanfare. If any of the reviews are to be believed it deserved the zero fanfare it got. Take NFL Street, remove the street, the tricks & the tight controls, ????, make miniscule profit and cause Goodell to rethink exclusivity once the current contract expires.

Rose Bowl gets to keep their precious Battle of the Tens (even though one's an eleven), the other three bowls get their selections, and whoever's on top after that is probably worthy. It could have shaken out as follows: Rose: #1 Ohio State v. #7 USC Sugar: #2 LSU v. #9 West Virginia Orange: #3 Virginia Tech v. #4 Oklahoma Fiesta: #6 Missouri v. #5 Georgia with OSU & LSU being in win-and-you're-in scenarios with the VaTech/OU and Mizz/UGA games being the "If somebody falters we're next in line" games. Hawaii gets left in the dust (considering their play against Georgia + their loss of coach + the number of graduating/declaring players, the dust is probably where the team belongs), WVU gets the 'meaningless' consolation game against LSU for not finishing off Pitt like they should have, and Kansas is left out due to failing to defeat Mizzou and get to the Big XII title game (I know I put Georgia in even though they weren't in their conference title game, but fuck Kansas, they played nobodies and the only game that remotely mattered before the bowl game they got their asses handed to them in)
