You can't play it off of a CD, but I don't see why you couldn't burn a .zip of the game onto a CD and just rip it back to the laptop HD. That said, why not invest in a memory stick; 256MB would be more than enough, as the game, all the editors, at least 9 save files and a bunch more data sets fit on a 128MB for me (albeit barely)

Um, what? I agree that certain people would get over while others got nowhere...but in this world where the fans get what they want, the wrestlers getting over are the wrestlers people want to see (and subsequently are the wrestlers getting pushed), and the ones they don't want to see are obviously not getting over (mainly because they aren't getting the pushes). That's the complete opposite of WCW. I too realize that you can't cater to everyone all the time, but when you rely on people coming to your shows when you're in town, watching your programming when you aren't in town, and paying upwards of $35 to watch your PPVs on a tri-weekly basis, you can't weigh things so heavily towards what the people on the payroll want and so lightly towards what the people whose money keeps the company afloat want. And besides that, why would they "rush" the Punk/BDV feud if BDV wasn't going over? It seems completely stupid to feed the guy you've been building for weeks to your champion just to somehow re-set up a Punk/Morrison battle. If they wanted Punk/Morrison for the gold they would have left Dreamer/Punk (because Dreamer hasn't really been built beyond the Chase, so who cares if he jobs?).

I really liked the elimination chase, it was incredibly refreshing from the standard RAW "Oh, wait, bah gawd *heel* just hit *finisher* on *champion*! Does this mean he's the new number one contender?" and the standard Smackdown "I see you're the champion now...I challenge you!" contendership deciding policy. Then of course Big Daddy Mabel's gotta step in and avalanche the competition. All keeping him out of the Chase says to me is that Estrada didn't think he was the best of Burke, Dreamer, Stevie, Thorn and BDV.

Probably some post-production editing when they do a No Mercy rundown, they'll throw in the explanation. Gives them an extra couple of days to figure it out.

Options: 1) Punk retains, BDV gets Umaga-ed and Khali-ed, goes to Smackdown and promptly revitalizes himself like all people who job in title matches after crushing everyone else on their current show's roster do. 2) BDV wins, and WWE creative realizes they've got nobody that can feasibly beat him. Cue BDV title run until Lashley returns because Lashley needs a big-name opponent and there aren't any giants left on Raw.

I hope he's not referring to Benoit or Eddie, because they fared much, much better in the WWE (although, admittedly, it took them a while to reach their peaks), barring each's tragic endings. Not barring those endings, however, the people in the midcard that did receive that big-time push ended up either dead, burned out on wrestling or depushed back into the midcard. Can you really say he was wrong to leave them there considering what happened to those that got the push?

There's a huge difference between "Wait and see what outfit you have to wear, Gail" and "OK, who's going to be wrestling for the IC title tonight?" Plus, I'm guessing the HIAC structure isn't cheap to drag around/construct so they're really going to want to use it if they bring it out of the warehouse.

Considering they're the only ones that have access to the voting, I'm not exactly sure why they stack the choices to lead it one way or the other. That said, how do you finish a Last Man Standing match in such a way that HIAC is required? Jericho return run-in?
