This can't be right. I would think Edge has him beat. I think he means more as in different, not more as in number of reigns. RVD held the Hardcore title to go with his IC, WWE and Tag titles (and if you count the unification with the European title, he held that one as well), while Edge has "only" held the tag titles, WWE and IC belts.

I give Bubba a free pass, due to his only knowledge of the incident being whatever was fed to him (and according to this guy it would've been total bullshit). Bonus points for taunting somebody that got ejected. If it's false...well, I can't exactly blame him, I'd be pissed too if I did something stupid and then got tossed & banned for life from somewhere like Universal. If it's true, though, holy shit.

According to you, every kid always listens to their parents and heeds their every word. If this were the case, the planet would either be perfect, or totally fucked up beyond repair. I say if you warn the kid, and he goes to do it anyway, that's his own problem. Save his life, try to avoid horrible scars and burns if you can, but other than that let the kid work his own shit out. 4 hours of sleep, not paying attention in school, those are the kid's problems due to the kid's choices; parents saying "Go to bed" or "pay attention" isn't going to suddenly swing them around to an A student that goes to bed at 8pm.

So instead of telling young children what they shouldn't do, you want parents to just suggest to their children that they not do certain things, and hope that they listen? So you would just suggest to your child that maybe he/she shouldn't pull on those cords because they might be attached to something that could fall on it's head and injure it, and hope that the kid listens, rather then just telling the child not to do it because it'll hurt, and making sure that they don't? Kids learn by doing. If they have opportunity and desire, they're really not going to care what "you", the adult, has to say on the matter (if you're in a girl's room, and you can fuck, are you really going to go "No, mommy/daddy told me not to fuck" or are you going to go "Eh, they'll never know..."?). If they can, and they want to, they will, barring the knowledge of the result not being to their liking. C-Bacon would probably opt for "Let it fall on his head; he'll learn in a hurry not to do that shit again", while others would opt for "Smack the shit out of the kid, he'll learn not to disobey". The difference is that C-Bacon's option teaches the kid to listen; if your parent says "Don't do that, it'll fall on your head and hurt like a bitch", you ignore it, do it, it falls on your head and hurts like a bitch, a) you're not going to do that again, and b) you're going to be more likely to listen to what this parent suggests because the last time they said something would happen, they were right. The second option just teaches "Parent doesn't want me to do that"; for the most part the kid doesn't know why they aren't supposed to do it, and they'll probably try it out at some later time when the parent isn't right there to stop them and smack them again. Again, people learn differently at different stages of their lives. Factory work isn't for everyone. Office jobs aren't for everyone. Manual labor isn't for everyone. Why should there only be one educational method for everyone?

omg Jarrett to WWE?????????

Oooo, the Lady Masterpiece. The Originals really don't need to go over...then again, in this day and age is there anybody outside of the won-lost thread that really cares who's going over in any non-title match? And who knew they actually listened to what the fans said? Somebody must have been, considering the logic behind the ONS move...then again if they're planning to branch out as much as other reports indicate, they may as well spread the PPVs around a bit, let some new fans see them. (On the other hand maybe the southeastern US doesn't want another ECW PPV after the last one.)

I would love to have this but Time Warner or DirecTV doesn't carry it here. Hard to get subscribers. They could also push subscriptions harder on their TV. There's no reason they couldn't run WWE 24/7 Classic Clips or something. I know they do those This Moment in Wrestling History clips but those are short and really don't push that particular month's 24/7 programming. They could even negotiate with USA or a cable outlet for an hour Classics show with just segments from each of that month's WWE 24/7 offerings. There are a lot of people who have abandoned today's product and would love to see the wrestling they grew up with and may just need the reminder of getting something for free before they subscribe. They could do a 15-second plug after This Week in Wrestling History; how long could it take to say "For more wrestling history, check out WWE.com and click on WWE 24/7!"

Cheaper to buy that & Twilight Princess than a Wii & Twilight Princess. Easier to find, too.

...is likely the saddest commentary on the WWE Hall of Fame that could ever be made. He might just already have tickets and now that he's busy with the induction, he has to find somebody to give them to? As for Mistico, it was probably just him trying to be a money-grubbing jerk that can go to CMLL and say "Hey, the big leagues in America want me and will pay this much; what will you do to keep me here when my contract expires?", only to go back to WWE and say "CMLL's doing this to keep me here, what will you do to get me?"

Viva la revolucion!

Time's at a premium as it is; they aren't going to burn 5 minutes of it to get 1/2 of two tag teams over, they're going to make it a tag match. Plus they're trying to get everybody on the show every week so it's easier to have them in one match rather than two.

Couldn't agree more. You want more proof, watch that new TV show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?". Taking some of the smartest of the smart and making them look like buffoons; it's supposed to be funny because they can't answer the questions, but when you look past that you realize that it's really a mockery of the American educational system. Seriously, when you ask someone like a lawyer a question and he can't answer it, but a fifth grader can, what does that say about the usefulness of a fifth grade education? They had to use fifth graders; fourth or lower would be too easy and a sixth grader would eventually be smart enough to figure out who the joke was really on. As for iPods and cell phones...are kids using them when they're playing sports or doing something they want to do? No, because they aren't bored out of their skull learning meaningless drivel. Math and English should be compulsory, everything else required for one year so you get a taste of what it's like and what's involved, and after that you make your own decisions.

I sort of wish Piazza had drilled him a little harder when he threw that bat at him a few years back, now that I see what Clemens has turned into. Him and A-Rod are fucking disgraces to the game of baseball.

Kinda hard to get heat when you have a 20 minute PPV match hyped by a total of (at most) 15 minutes of television time.

It's an excuse to air Fuji Vice, I'm all for it. I think Michaels should induct him; as we all know, HBK loves Mr. Fuji.

I don't care where you're from, the word "Meatpacker" should never be included in your repertoire of moves in any fashion. -
Looked like, as somebody said, the finish was to be Mickie ending up "powerbombed" from the top rope; Melina ducked her head for some reason and Mickie, instead of taking the back bump, ended up flipping back too hard and went upside down instead of just backwards. If that wasn't supposed to be the finish, then yeah, mostly Melina's fault. If it was, then it would be up to Mickie to protect herself and land safely; once she got in that position what could Melina have done?

Apparently there's a story to it: His wife died from thyroid cancer, and he took solace in WWE events. Somebody in WWE found out about it somehow (I'd guess a wrestler ripped up his sign or something, they brought him backstage to make amends/avoid lawsuits, and that's when they found out, but I don't know for sure) and they basically agreed to give him front-row seats any time he wanted them (hence why he's always in the front row). He pays his own travel expenses, as well as buying new hats (the wrestlers apparently like to wipe their asses/balls on the hats and then put it back on his head), so he's not exactly an employee.

I had to look up Lance Russell myself. Thankfully, there's Youtube to show why Lawler would pick him. And now some actual work of his, in a personal favorite match of mine. Sync's messed up by about 2 seconds on part 2, but well worth viewing anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHNwRpl6VrI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Osu-4c-GICU

I thought about getting it, but I'm glad I didn't. Why should I spend $120 for it so they can black out 81 Mets games on the off chance I decide to make the six hour drive down to Shea and buy a ticket? Especially when I've got SNY that shows 90% of the Mets games anyway. It's the same thing with NFL Sunday Ticket. If I have to pay a couple hundred bucks for the service, I think they should have to waive the blackouts; if I paid that kind of money and the game I wanted to see was as blacked out as it would be for somebody that's spent nothing, that's supposed to motivate me to drive for an hour and spend more of my money on a nosebleed ticket to freeze my ass in the stadium?

They still making a move for Big Show, or do they have somebody else in mind?

Ya, wwe does have a chat room. It's in the community section. They've had one for years. I went in there after Owen's death, said something about a clip being on the local news and was immediately private messaged by one of their chat room mods asking where I lived, what channel it was, who the broadcasters were....it was unexpected, yet fun in a way.

Gotta make up for firing the last Diva Search winner.

The purple went with the system better. The red buttons just sort of....stand out too much? I dunno. The NES controller had a lot of black so the red buttons looked good (mine has fluorescent yellow buttons with an orange control pad; yay for modifications!); the SNES was that...light greyish color. The red stands out too much for me, the purple looked good. They also did a study that showed that the Japanese weren't looking at the color codes to see which button was which, they were using feel; hence why the X and Y are concave while A & B are newly convex.
