Even his pyro sucks. Come on, unfolding arms and it shoots when you extend? Maybe if there was some urgency, instead of slooooooooowly stretching out your arms. Somebody never watched Goldberg. -

Which one's the one with the Hawk haircut? -
This is most certainly fair to Flair.

Does Backlund really require recitation of the Presidents, or does he just say he does when he's being interviewed/requested for autographs on camera?

Was $60 for ringside last summer when I went; do they raise prices for the Road to Wrestlemania? As for Mysterio, it's probably not so much "the injury's that bad" as it is they don't want him wrestling the style he wrestles, and at his size there really aren't a lot of other styles he could use. Probably like "You can wrestle, but if you want to do all the stuff you were doing pre-surgery I wouldn't do it for another few months."

Lame or not lame, I won't argue. I just don't see how you can rank them #79 of 80 when they're statistically similar to several other teams, including near-even with the #32 team, as well as being one play away from having the first overtime Super Bowl in history; if New England 03 was really that much better, shouldn't the game not have been close? Hell, the 03 Panthers are ranked lower than the 85 Patriots, and look how they did.
-
They were 79th out of 80. Oddly enough, Carolina had 23 less points in the regular season, had more total offensive yards, tied in yards allowed, and had an opponent W-L% just 4% lower than the #32 team on the list. Y'know, the team they were a non-out-of-bounds kickoff, or a half-inch better jump from Jenkins away from going to overtime with in that very Super Bowl? And when New England wins close games, it's considered an "efficient march". When Carolina wins close games, they r teh suxx and "barely outscored their opponents". Heavens, I'm sure they cried themselves to sleep for a full 7 weeks of the season because they had only won by 3 or less the previous game. I also like Marty as the analyst. Think he'll retire, or try to go back to coaching? I'm not a fan of ANY of their NASCAR coverage. It's freakin boring.

So instead of focusing the creative staff on making enough stars to float three brands, they plan on just over-working the handful of stars they already have. I can't wait until they all get banged up from working an extra couple matches a week, and there's nobody left on top. Just in time for SummerSlam, most likely...

On the bright side, comparing the fanbase to Billy Gunn should garner some good heat. I also like how they release one team and then bring in one that's most likely going to be more expensive.

Because with STEVE SMITH STEVE SMITH STEVE SMITH and JAKE DAYLIGHT COME YOU GOTTA DELHOMME HA HA HA, they can always win games, I guess. The one I don't get is, "Call me crazy, but this is the year the Arizona Cardinals really put it all together and make the playoffs. I think Dennis Green/Emmitt Smith/Kurt Warner/Edgerrin James/Matt Leinart/Ken Whisenhunt is the one missing piece of the puzzle that will really allow the Cardinals to make some waves and win the West." That never gets old...never. Have you heard the one about the Lions? They always take wide receivers! OMG!! Current reports indicate that Millen is considering trading Ford Field and 2/3 of his mustache to get the #1 pick to take Calvin Johnson, and then he plans on selecting Jarrett with the #2 pick. Arizona keeps thinking it's a QB/RB/coach problem, when it's a O-line/entire defense problem. Carolina is pretty much the same team they were in their 03 Super Bowl run. 04, lots of injuries and they were still one game shy of making the playoffs. 05, less injuries and were one win away from the Super Bowl (and they had some playoff injuries that crippled them). 06, tons of injuries and they were...a Giants loss (and maybe a Packers loss too) away from sneaking into the playoffs. No matter how badly they get beat up injury-wise they seem to always be in the playoff hunt, and the last 2 seasons they weren't leveled with injuries throughout were their SB year in 03 and their NFC title game appearance of 05. That and the rest of the NFC is soft.

The funniest Trump/Vince option is to have Vince name Khali as his choice...and then have Trump choose Shane.

If you figure it out, let me know, as I'd like to have Oakland, Houston, Cleveland, etc. actually suck instead of being 1-2 points behind a competitive team in their conference. That said, I made a 360 Superstar out of Adrian Peterson; with 4 games left we're 4-8 and I'm at around 1800 yards rushing. We could've competed if Frye hadn't been the starter for the first half of the season when we went 2-6 (4 touchdowns to 18 picks completely cancels out the mobility, especially since he never uses it...). Of course, we've won the last 2 games, just to be sure Cleveland doesn't get a good enough pick to take anybody decent that's not a DE. Also, I've run into a severe lack of injuries in my Franchises. I've got about 4 full seasons played and I think I've seen 1 injury that resulted in a player missing more than a couple quarters. (And I've played as the Panthers and Browns, so it's not like I'm playing as the ultimates in durability, I've had Deshaun Foster, Dan Morgan, Kellen Winslow...)

It also referred to WrestleMania as a championship.

Do any of these rental places have rent-to-own options?

And here we are bitching that Joe/Angle I through III finishing in 3 months was rushed. "You think that's rushed? That's slow as shit, boy! THIS is rushed!"

I like how 3/5 of the "stars" get their own dressing room, even though they don't need to change their clothes because they aren't wrestling at the moment. -
There's a button that lets you move the blue circle around (it highlights the receiver, and has little blue arrows in it if they can go in motion). You have to move that onto the receiver, then hit Y, and then the left/right stick for the hot route you want. That's the only way I've been able to do it, but I've remapped the controller so I don't know what button will do it for you (mine's on right bumper, with Lead Blocking controls on left bumper) EDIT: Manual says it's the B button. Careful if you don't have widescreen, because you can't see the farthest-out receiver and the target circle could be on them.

Things like this make me strongly question the people who say that HHH will make a good booker when and if he takes over WWE once Vince is gone. When has HHH showed booking genius? There is a difference between HHH nixing something because it personally affects him as an active wrestler and Paul Levesque, student of the game, as a head booker post-wrestling career. I find the whole scenario amusing, since when the shoe was on the other foot a decade ago HHH had no problem adding in X-Pac and the NAO to DX while HBK was sitting on the sidelines. -
So...why's Tazz burying every commentator that sits next to him? Can't he just call the match as normal instead of turning it into "Well, new commentator, you're wrong and stupid, I'm clearly superior and here's why!"

Too bad he didn't send the bookers home like last time. -
Not to get Russo off the hook for the Joe/Angle management, but nobody really knew how "good" Angle's condition was upon signing with TNA (as we all know, Angle would either lie about his condition so he could wrestle, or go doctor to doctor until he found one to clear him). No matter how bad the Joe/Angle matches have been (or could have been), it's still miles better than spending 3-4 months hyping the first in-ring confrontation between them and...having his neck problems act up. In that case, Angle's done, career over, you spent however much money to bring in Angle, hyped the hell out of him for one match and then....didn't deliver the match in any way, shape or form. Rushing into a sub-par match is better than hyping it as the greatest thing of all time and then not delivering. Now Angle moves on to a new feud, and yet the door's still open six months to a year from now for Angle and Joe to feud once more if Angle's condition holds up.

I'm guessing he has it trademarked. He's seemed like one of those guys who has his crap together, as far as his business dealings go. Then again, I would've thought the Dudleys would still be the Dudleys in TNA. Anything that was copyrighted by ECW is now owned by WWE.....that's where the Dudleys lost theirs........if RVD or Rob Van Dam was copyrighted by ECW.....it's owned by WWE. I don't think that was the excat thing. I thought it was the Dudleys thought they had it copyrighted....or they had thought Heyman owned the name or something like that but it turned out the Dudley name wasn't trademarked at all and before Vince let all 3 Dudleys go, he got Dudley, Bubba Ray, Spike, and "get the tables" all trademarked/copyrighted then let them all go to fuck them over. The only one that it really didn't fuck over was Devon because Devon is his actual name, he just can't spell it D-Von. Heyman owned the rights, and he "gave" them to Bubba and D-Von, but because he never officially transferred the rights to them, when WWE bought up ECW they officially obtained the rights. They're apparently still interested in taking WWE to court over the rights, since they used it previously and some other legal loophole. Also, WWE owns the rights to the Rob Van Dam name, and according to the Trademark Electronic Search System, oddly enough: http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc...tate=p0333q.2.4

It's gotten the point where I can't tell the difference between those agreeing with Vince because they're ignorant morons and those agreeing with Vince because they want to keep their job and realize disagreeing isn't going to do jack shit anyway.
