    Question about voice/live action actors,

Heh heh, he does have a reconstructed face due to a car accident... right?

American TV censorship reaches new Highs/Lows

Come now folks, dictionary.com is less than 15 keys away and it has LEZ in it listed as "offensive slang, short for lezzies." Strangly it does not have the alternate accepted play, GUV, in it unless you go to the alternate achronym section where it is, obviously, short for Governor. What if he had spelled PENIS or ~TAINT!? *dies*

    PPV and Rock news

For the "Gridiron Gang" you can read any of the whole first page of results from google for confirmation. Although maybe you are, and rightfully so, asking him to credit his sources.

WWE Announces Name of Tuesday October PPV

Heh, that cracked me up. ...and I couldn't guess "arm drag" untill Eugene buzzed him. As far as PPV's go, I won't buy one until they go down in price again regardless of how great the title is. I used to buy every PPV until they jacked up the prices now they only get Wrestlemania out of me.

Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like you can't do that with tabbed browsing but more that I'm Already doing it without tabbed browsing. Does that make more sense? As for cluttering my taskbar... well we just have different opinions/tolerances on what clutter is. I'm in the process of experimenting with FireFox right now, I have a favorites/bookmarks list that has been growing exponentially since 1992 so I get frustrated when I have to migrate browsers/systems and they de-format. Anywho, still time for me to "see the light" on this thing.

    SLEDGEHAMMER!

You are right actually, it was just one critic (I believe wrote in TV guide) that was always harping on it. Check http://www.sledgehammeronline.com/news.htm for more info.

    Cable Descramblers.....

I personally know someone who was caught with a descrambler hooked up and the cable tech just messed with their digital box and it didn't work no mo'. They then spent the next few months trying to re-hack and descramble stuff but everytime they got something working it seems the company would remotely fry the box or it would "just stop working." One day they were just sitting around watching TV when they noticed a cable truck outside their house, the tech simply cut the cable to their building and then they were really SOL!

How far down on the computer tree do I have to go to see the speed difference for Firefox vs. IE? I went down and launched IE on the 500mhz computers we use for Point of Sales and it launched instantly just like it does on my computer at home. Are we talking time it with a stopwatch differences here or "feels faster" differences? I've been using Firefox from time to time here at work. I'm not seeing the tabbed browsing thing as the amazing feature it is frequently made out to be but perhaps that is because I'm one of those folks that opens everything in new windows to read later? (Hint: This is a really smart thing to do on Mondays when TSM forum tends to go down, you have a few open threads to read through while you wait.) That post yanked from mozilla.org is a little... funny. Why is the browser better because it is 4.7mb? I also don't see the "built in" arguments (pop-up blocker, google search, customizing) as being very convincing but I guess we can chalk that up to "I know what I'm doing with my computer." I've had google toolbar since the week it was released for instance and my search page in IE has been google.com for years now (used to be deja news if you can believe that!)

    Audio is flat

Seconded big time. Also make sure Winamp "auto equalizer" isn't on.

    Transformers the Movie

Hulk haters need to read Hulk editorial... http://www.theonion.com/opinion/index.php?issue=4028 and it always feels odd seeing Optimus on screen with Galvatron in the late season 3 episodes. Although Galvatron gained quite a few points in my book when he drove a whole planet mad, via his own insanity, eventually causing it to explode.

    SLEDGEHAMMER!

Ooh, ooh! I saw it! Whole family used to watch it every thursday or whenever it was it came on. Second season is really...odd...not spoiling if you haven't finished the first season set yet, you'll see what I mean. That show had The Critic problems, high ups hating on it and such. Not to mention actual critics hated on it quite a bit too.

    Transformers the Movie

Nah you had it right the first time although the Predacons did an awesome job Vs. Megatron in the comics. Let us all not forget to call them "Gestaults" instead of combiners. Gestault is about the most awesome name for a toy that was designed simply to get you to buy 5 times as many toys ever.

    Irony on WWE.com

So are you saying that WWE isn NOT making money off of that ad space that WWF is utilizing or what?

    Irony on WWE.com

Doesn't need to be the center of the film to glorify it but, as you say, "whatever." Why does one have to see the movie to decide whether the Advertisement for the movie glorifies pot smoking? The only ad I've seen for the movie, a flash ad, has them "High over LA in search of the perfect meal." With a picture of them quite happily soaring over New Jeresey enjoying "the perfect day" in, what is stereotypically looked upon as a, pot induced laughing fit.

Paul London is the Next Big Thing

Stilts... Stilts? Stilts?! I could see Lifts or Heels but.... stilts?! Couple that with your "I say so" arguments and I really hope London someday becomes champ just to cheese you off. I like the current SD! champs and can see how folks pick London as the Shawn Michaels to Kidman's Marty Jannetty. It is funny to see how they, one booking decision later, can take 10 times more punishment and actually defeat the champs though.

    Irony on WWE.com

I too felt that the ad glorifies pot smoking but your disertation on how it does not has now lead me to believe otherwise. I do like the thought of WWF paying WWE to host ads on the WWE website as well.

    Aqua Teen Volume II!!!!!!!!!!&

I remember thinking that, when the three new Williams Street cartoons and Harvey Birdman all hit pretty much at once, the ATHF sounded so "un-promising" I barely gave it a chance and that I thought The Brak Show would pound them all. Amazingly it turned out the Sealab 2021 and ATHF ruled the roost with Brak and Harvey trailing behind. Brak still pulls out some good stuff but Birdman just seemed to slowly fade out with the best of them being echos of the Apache Chief and Doctor Quest episodes (kind of like how Commissioner Gordon was saying about US Presidents in Dark Knight Returns.) ATHF and Sealab just gets better with each season, which is the normal progression for most TV shows. Yet somehow Harvey Birdman slowly loses something. For some reason they tweaked the characters in The Brak Show and ended up with something not quite right. Brak too smart, Zorak too nice and of course Mom's voice change. Although Thundercleese and Dad are awesome so you end up with a show where the Star and his "sidekick" aren't as good as the supporting cast. ATHF episodes get better every time you watch them while it can be a chore to sit through certain Brak episodes (Weird Al living in a giant Worm anyone?)

Good interview with Ali G Creator

Ali G is damned funny sometimes, "Boutros Boutros Boutros Boutros-Ghali" and, said totally within stupid, stupid character and supereme honest questioning... "You are quite fat, when you have sex with your wife do you crush her?" Not to mention the whole thing where he went to a dating service and told the people that, if he didn't like the women he would kill or crush them. Hoo! His HBO thing didn't always fire on all cylinders though, gave a lot of people a "not to good" impression of his show. Lucky we rent the original BBC stuff here.

'Police Academy' Set for Eighth Edition

I'm actually more impressed that a site that large managed to find and correct such an error! Is there any chance that this will be great though? There will obviously be the "new cops" that the "old generation" has to teach. The only time this seemed to work, off the top of my head, is with Star Trek: The Next Generation and that took a season or two and plenty of fans splintering into factions. Police Academy is one of those series that everyone pretty much agrees dies around the 4th movie, or earlier if you are less lenient... it just seems they have a real uphill battle ahead of them. Signing that many of the original cast though is an amazing step in the right direction.

    HomeStarRunner

I've got it, has a little too much Limozeen on it but without them it would be REALLY short. Hard call, I love HSR but even I don't really dig the CD. Although it came with a free cheat in a tire pen so it's all good. Mild reccomendation to get.

    Windows Clock

I'd be amazed if there wasn't! Lots of info at this link http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/show...49&page=1&pp=14 although the sum was either video card or running azureus in the back ground was causing it I would give it a read, it's short!
