Ha, ya, its the same one on the SuperBad DVD. Rogen, Apatow and Franco (who I've always liked). And I'm sure there will be about 10 cameos as well. And from the Freaks and Geeks days, who would have thought that Seth Rogen was going to be the biggest star. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is going to be great too.

Last weekend, we were having some big sales on GPS. The Magellan Maestro 4040 was on sale for $299.99, $150.00 off. Well a bunch of people get them, including this middle aged women. Two days later she comes back in and wants another one. For free. I guess she left the unit in their car, somebody broke in and stole it. And she believes Radioshack should give them another one for free because it was stolen. And she was being dead serious. (I wasn't here for any of this, I had the day off. And if I was there instead of Tim, there was no way I would have been able to keep a straight face.) My friend Tim tells them that they can not do this. He tells them that it isn't our fault and we are not responsible for it. She starts going on tirade claiming that a RS employee probably broke into the car and took it so we can sell it to another customer. Tim tells her that there is no way this happened and that he really can't give them a refund. This goes on for about 20 minutes. Then Tim tells them that our Manager is coming in because he is sick. (The guy couldn't feel the right side of this face because of a sinus infection). She says well that makes sense because he isn't making any sense. Mike, the manager, comes in and tries to explain to this lady how crazy this sounds. It would be like buying a car, getting it stolen, then going BACK to the dealership asking for your money back. She wouldn't listen. She REALLY believed we should give her another one for free. She then wants to speak to someone in the district office about this so she can get her free GPS. He tells her there is no one who she can talk to because there is no one that will give it to her. I guess she called the district office and they told her she could get it at the sale price it was last weekend. But not one for free. WHAT WAS SHE THINKING? How does that make ANY SENSE?

Survivor Series is this month, which has a track record for the worst PPV ever. (well, I think so)

Well, you can't upcovert with component now-a-days because of some FCC ruling or some shit. And the whole BR/HD-DVD won't be solved for a while. However, BR/HD-DVD make the best upconverting players. It's funny how a lot of people don't know anything about UC players. Whenever someone is buying a DVD player, I always tell them to get an UC player. (If they have a HDTV). And when I explain to them how good it will look, they are pumped. I think I've only had one return on one.

Truer words haven't been spoken. I love this show, but I can't remember the last time any show has dropped off so fast and significantly off the pop culture radar. It's like the true fans sticking around for it are kind of a cult or something now. You can thank the tallie crap for that. However, the show does prettttty well in ratings. Still pulling 8 - 10s.

I just got back from work. 6AM to 10PM. Then we had to close up, so I got out at 10:45. Great day.

What would be the point? Jim was doing it to "defend Pam's honor" - why would either Pam or Jim be satisfied w/ Dwight doing it? The ping-pong B-plot was fine. It provided a good counter to the heavy/dark deposition storyline. I got a big kick out of Toby opening up his heart to Michael, only to have Michael shove Toby's tray off the table. Wasn't that Dwight and Darryl playing at the end of the episode?

So I watched "Donut Run" again. It's a fantastic episode, but I can't figure out for the life of me how they actually got the fuckin baby across the border. Any ideas?

Yeah, since HHH has the title and everything right now. Well, from everything I've read, wasn't the plan HHH vs. Orton at Mania? No transitional champ for Jericho please. Wrestling changes all the time AND IT'S NOVEMBER.

Looks like I'll be watching Survivor, Big Brother and Amazing Race for the first time.

I was always under the impression that optical was better then coaxial. I assume that optical is a digital medium, and coaxial is an analog medium. I'd probably say go with the optical first, and see how you find it. That is what I am going to do. I assume that I will be listening to movies at a louder volume then I play video games, so I will check to see if I hear any difference when I am watching movies on the surround sound. If not, then I will keep with my PS3 only setup, but if for some reason there is a difference, I will just have to buy an HDMI splitter and have the DVD player and the PS3 both hooked up. No, don't do that. Use your PS3 as a DVD player. It is one of the best upconverting players.
