I was never a huge fan of Chris Sabin at first, but watching TNA Weekly PPVs from the start recently, I have to admit his work rate is there. If he could develop a cool character, he could do well somewhere.

That's what I was talking about, with Rouseau not remembering Jin. She should have remembered him as the event had already happened, and was due to happen again. Same with Charlotte remembering Daniel warning her as a little girl. It might not have happened, but it was due to happen so had already actually happened. Alien: Colonial Marines is officially pissing me off. The original PS2 game gets canned because of dumb shit. Then when it is revived, giving a full recreation face lift and looking awesome...it hits the same god damn wall in favor of another AvP game which are usually extremely lackluster sadly. Damn game is turning into a curse. Giving the success of the COD franchise, and other squad based army games, on 'next gen' console base, it seems stupid to palm off Alien: CM (which has had a strong internet support) for an old IP. I'm a little excited for an AvP game, though I preferred AvP2 over AvP. AvP was a bit bulky and aged badly. Storyline was poor and not very driven. Chances are there's some AvP landmark next year (or a new film) that they want to cash tie in with.

I don't think they'll be closed by the end of the year, but I do think they'll have an epiphany and realize if people want to watch their current programming, they'll watch WWE. They (WWE) have been doing it longer, and do it better. TNA will change their focus and hopefully stop CONSTANTLY referring to WWE moments and achievments to put over their current talent in TNA. They need to distance themselves from WWE and stop trying to ride their coat tails as its only going to confuse new fans.

They do seem pretty low, but then, aren't they only getting PPV buys in American and on one cable stream? Does every wrestling fan in American have access to that carrier? In the UK we get the PPVs for free, while WWE PPVs are all slowly turning over to sky box office (when they used to be free on Sky Sports). How many people bought the weekly PPVs? Has the buy rate against those went up or down? Its possible that scaling back the number of PPVs might help, but ideally they need to market better and improve booking.

I can imagine Colt sounds too markish on commentary for some reason. And what the hell. Is that Ashley thing legit? If so she puts herself over as a complete moron, and just enforces that 13 year olds attack.

Nah Bob's ok, just a bit odd. His double space formatting reminds me of some sort of little munchkin kid that's just learned how to use a keyboard and is typing his first assignment. I'm surprised he doesn't use font size 18 and stretch it over 16 pages to make it look like a real importantly long assignment.

Should I go and confess my sins for liking the commentary of Matt Striker and Todd Grisham? I mean, they're not amazing, but you can feel the potential they have to be the mainstay announcers for Raw in the near future. They're willing to work the style WWE wants to push (story telling and putting characters over) and 'mostly' manage to do it without it sounding too forced (Michael Cole). Besides, Matt Striker has that natural ability on the mic to sound good/funny/spontaneous.

Sega need to sort their production/distribution shit out. Alien: Coloniel Marines (which has had very little info released) was scheduled for an early 2009 release, has now been pushed back to 'whenever' in favour for a NEW AvP game. The game is being developed by Rebellion, who did the first AvP, so it could be interesting. Still NO info on the Alien RPG, other then the its penned in for development.
