So, is Kurt Warner the poster boy for 'never give up' - the media would like me to think so. -

Coverage has just started in the UK on BBC1 (started an hour ago on Sky Sports, but didn't catch any of it). -

Why didn't Ernest Miller get a bigger chance in WWE? -
What's all this got to do with TMC? Poor guy, his 15 minutes of fame pissed on by some boarders E-Fighting. Maybe he'll be the ringside enforcer if all hell breaks loose.

We're set for Goals galore/high scoring game/a gunslingers game, etc today! (Game then goes on to be boring and without any talking points)

Getting Black Lushus started on how horrible the GI Joe flick is turni
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in Television & Film
For some reason if this does well, I can see them really pushing for a Metal Gear Solid film. Tommy from '3rd Rock from the Sun' as Cobra Commander, though? EDIT: Actually, looking through the cast list - WTF! A Waynas, Dennis 'fucking' Quaid, Doctor who, a Lostie... Will Ray Parks ever get a role where his face isn't covered up, or his voice over dubbed, and he's not doing martial arts? What I'm trying to say here is, this film production (Direction, Camera work, Editing, script, etc) must be spot on, as there doesn't seem to be anyone on the cast who could save this movie if its going to be crap. It'll do well cashing in on 80s nostalgia (though missed the boat releasing just after Transformers), but I think this could falter. I'll go and see it though. also: -

I had the Monday booked off at my old job, but I've since started a new job, so I'll be up all night watching it, then going to work at 8am - the joy! Can't wait though. COME ON CARDINALS! -
I wonder much the press will blow out the behind the scenes drama at Liverpool if they don't win the league.

Its a cold day, but the atmosphere is red hot.

Fun game to watch, but it highlights all the things wrong with us - lazy players. Ameobi wasn't interested until the ball was at his feet, if he lost the ball he rarely, if at all, tried to win it back. When he did have the ball, he didn't act or think quick enough with it. Duff annoys the hell out of me too, he doesn't really do anything. Enrique, the 90 mins he played today, summed up the whole of his season. He's so inconsistent, when he's good he's great, when he's poor, he's shite. Harper did well, as he usually does when he covers. Now the ball is in his court since he's the First Choice now. Ref had a pretty decent game, though the penalty decision, I'll admit, was pretty weak.

Fucking Sky Sports getting Ruud Gullit in for analysis on Newcastle.

To be fair, he couldn't do any worse with the season Anderson and Edwards had. Quinn looked alreet, but then got injured - though fair point, who the hell is Dorsey in the grand scheme of things? -
Hey, I thought it was about time we had somewhere to recommend comedians to each other, as I love a good laugh. I'm pretty open to try any comedian, but, like I told my girlfriend last week much to her amazed disgust, I don't really find female comedians that funny. No idea, can't place it, probably a sexiest pig in the making. Dana Cook Lewis Black CS Lewis George Carlin are all on my ipod at the moment, any other recommendations? Stand up routines, comedy songs, or even funny audio books are welcomed, something to keep me going while at the gym or on bike rides. Its better then having to constantly stopping to change what music I'm listening to.

I give it a week before he's launching his own takeover bid for board control.

While we're half talking Football Manager and Bristol City... you guys got promoted to the Premiership for the 09/10 season. You signed Ameobi for £4m, he was your top goal scorer, but you got relegated straight away.

Apparently the company I've just joined is the basis for the company that's parodied in 30 Rock. So, I think I'll have to check that out.

The TSM Weight Loss Contest
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in No Holds Barred
This thread has been pretty good motivation so far, I'd like to see it continue for as long as people are interested. Even if its sharing tips and gym regimes. -
Wow, I feel sorry for anyone who might have bought this. The music is so bland and boring, and generic. For as much criticism that TNA guy gets for his midi sounding music, the WWE productions have been pretty poor - at least the efforts showcased on this CD. The latest Priceless remix is dull, as is Aryse and Eve's music. Great Khali's music is a bit better, but its just looped and repeated like it was the 80s or something. Jack Swagger? Rage against the Machine rip off that doesn't fit his character, is this the old DX band? Overall, its just a very poor show. Highlight is Randy Orton's music, probably says something that it was actually done by a real band.

Well, that's we've said since the start, DCH. You're not a skinny jean wearing Emo, are you? -
Eurogamer gave out a few thousand beta keys last weekend, missed out on them though. Hope its good.

Sorry, TheFranchise, but Football Manager has spoken - don't worry though, its not due to happen till Apirl 25th 2010. Bryan Robson is your manager.

Yup, I don't really care for the characters. The only ones I do care for are linked to the Island - Locke, Desmond, Ben, Richard, and now Faraday.

While they're usual style might not fit well with CHIKARA values, I can see them hamming it up nicely, as they're all pretty good characters to put over in a comedy/family environment. Obviously, no big Hardcore spots will be done, but I still think they'll manage some funny antics.
