lmao yeah, that'll be funny, but if BOTH teams do it... YAY! Sounds really promising this year, and you know something must be wrong when you're looking forward to FIFA more then PES.

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer..._type=&aq=f If you click on part one of the game, you can find the others from there. Sadly the systems have returned at work and there's like a billion customers needing sim replacements/transfers and shit so I won't be watching these any time soon. -

Being very bored at work, due to the computer systems being down for 5 days (I won't mention the company to save face) I've spent the last 5 days watching computer storyline movies on youtube - mainly Resident Evil -
That's just worrying - if that's the kind of people Guitar Hero breed.

The N64 next to the 360 is a nice touch. Its all covered in dust and stuff though N64 is still my all time favorite console ever for pure fun factor. -
Fair point, for example Sunderland had to pump in £40m just to beat relegation by a few points. That's a lot of money to have to call upon to step up.

Bah you had to ask, however, since I'm of this generation and seen Shearer play, I'll go with Shearer. Though what I've seen (limited) and read about Jackie Milburn he seems like the greatest Gentlemen and Footballer to have ever played for Newcastle. Shearer however is a bit of a grumpy git at times, seen him ignore kids before when they've seen him out and about - but I guess it must be hard/annoying to be 'bugged' all the time.

The Things That Anger You Thread.
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to Man Who Sold The World's topic in General Chat
Our group did tell people to shut up frequently last summer, but teenagers often don't listen and I'm also not a confrontational person. As for yelling things out, it's about timing. The Matrix shout out I described happened at a non-dialogue part of the movie and was funny. Telling your friend "Hey Tom I thought that was funny!" during dialogue is not. I'm probably coming off like CandyColoredBlues here in being so easily annoyed but really, it pisses me off. The best therapy for that is to work at a cinema for a while. I did for a few months and the unbridled power to tell noisey fucks to leave was amazing. The best line is "Leave now without a scene, or get I 'mall security to escort you out and everyone will watch you leave and you get banned from the cinema." -
I've seen a large number of Pro Macho Man signs popping up over the last few months! Anything really can happen with Vince 'gone'!

http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/...08033218203.jpg I like it! On the side, where can someone in the UK find a good website to import games from the US? -
The trailer got no reaction when it came on when I saw Hancock the other day I liked the look of it, but was put off by the no sell of the people around me haha I'm so weak.

I'll have to bow out of the College game, it doesn't get released over here and the 360 are region locked. Sorry. -
David Ginola Lazy Left Wingers are the best! Ginola arrived at Newcastle United for 2.5m and that was only because George Weah rejected a move to the Toon and went to AC Milan instead. Ginola played a few season for Newcastle and lit the Premiership up as he became a part of [EDIT]'s Entertainers. Never really made it in the French team as he had a long standing feud with the French Manager at the time, however, became one of the highlights of the Premiership. Played for Newcastle, Tottenham and Aston Villa. Jackie Milburn The real Local Hero In Modern Times Alan Shearer has been Newcastle United's 'Local Hero' however, before he arrived Jackie Milburn was the over all club's top goal scorer and is still a legend. A statue of him used to be on Northumberland Street (Newcastle's Main Shopping Street) but they removed it and placed it outside of St. James' Park instead. A blistering face striker with a knack for scoring goals. And so this is how my team looks now, nearly completed, with almost EVERY player having played in Black & White stripes (though not all of Newcastle United) with the exception of Puyol. Unlike Newcastle United, the defensive Unit is strong, organized and going to be tough to break down. The midfield has the flair that the St. James' Park faithful love to watch, while the front line has the passion, pride and ability to keep scoring goals and keep the fans in the seats.

Just saw Hancock today and the music/camera work of the film totally reminded me of NBC's Friday Night Lights - even had the little kid and Layla's Dad in it!

Vince McMahon "Its all about the moooooneeeeeeh" I wasn't aware that it had happened before, in regards to the vote rigging. If that happened in the UK, I'm pretty sure we'd riot up into #10 and pull the guy out and dump him in the Thames. Really does sound like the US is a bit of a low moral Country in recent times. If I'm honest, I haven't voted before, but times around I will be (UK obviously) as I'm really worried that the BNP will gain some actual power and a voice outside of its newsletter. I can understand why they're getting popular, claiming the UK has lost its identity - a powerful claim that is boarderline the truth.
-
I know it'd be a lot of effort, but couldn't you guys, you know, protest against that? Really seems like its been set up to keep the 'main two' in the loop - what happened to your freedom of speech and choice, if you're being led down a narrow path into choosing just two parties?
-
In the UK its pretty much a 2 1/2 Horse Race too with Labor (Demo), Tory's (Rep) and Lib Dem (Libs), however in recent years the BNP (British National Party) have started to gain more and more momentum. The BNP is pretty much Britain for Britain and has for years been boarderline racist, sometimes not even boarderline. Does the US have a party like this? Just its a bit worrying that people would vote for a potentially racist faction other then another 3rd party, but I guess that's the state of the countries mind after the Blair Years. What's your take on Parties getting big donations from powerful businesses and corporations? It happens in the UK too, but not really on the scale, as far as I'm aware, in the US. Seems like a public backhander to me, I don't get how it can be justified for them to give money to the potentially new President and then for that person to go and pass a bill in the business' favor. Or am I getting this all wrong? Looking in at the American system, I found it odd that Obama and Clinton would dish the dirt on each other and go short of, sometimes all the way, character assassination to get into the White House. These guys are on the same team and they were happy to make the other look weak to get in the vote. Now all I see is a winner that has been belittled by his own party.
-
Election and balloting laws make it quite difficult for such parties to get much momentum. Plus there's a a built in societal skepticism for them, especially those which seem only single issue parties. So is it engineered that way to always make it a 2 Horse Race? Sorry, if I'm totally looking into this wrong. Just seems odd that its only been two parties for so long that seemingly appear to be pretty much the same now too. I know they're not, but its hard to see who's the lesser of two evils. Just seems worrying that the general belief is that a vote for a 3rd party is a vote wasted and that you'd rather vote against another party so they didn't get in.
-
So why has America never had a believable 3rd party?
