The Industry that has America by the Balls
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to SuperJerk's topic in Current Events
Strangely, I watched Michael Moore's Sicko this weekend and really enjoyed it in an eye opening way. Made me realize I've taken the NHS for granted, even though my GP is 10 minutes away, I can get an appointment between 24-48 hours and it doesn't cost me anything. Really did make me wake up and see how badly it would hit the UK if the NHS disappeared. -
Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009

Yeah, I'd be happy to take a crap team and try and make them good. After all its Madden, you play the games yourself! -

Only thing is the College game never makes it over to the UK, so I'd have to opt out of that one. Unless I could import it in from US for the PS3 since the 360 is region locked. -
Mucha is running wild on the TDs! Think I'll take some notes haha

aww I never knew that, always wondered why he went As for the game - can't wait!

I've got no problems with you doing the league, just couldn't resist the change to claim you buggered badgers! -

Heard shady things about that Matt Young though. Once read that he likes to bugger Badgers. -

Well, I know at least one person outside of the boards who'd join. My fellow NFL loving Brit - he's a huge Bronco's fan so he'll probably cry if he can't be them, though that will be half the fun. Lucky Dip to determine teams? -
Fun Fact: Oguchi Onyewu made his English Premiership debut with Newcastle United a few seasons ago, however, the loan wasn't renewed and he went back to Belguim. Personally, I thought he was a larger bigger Boumsong. At times he looked great, but strikers were too wise to his huge frame and would easily gain fouls off him.

Dunga That's Portuguese for 'Dopey' don't you know The Great Brazilian Captain and playmaker, some could argue that along with Daschamps, he created the defensive Midfielder role in modern football. Sócrates A Doctor of Medicine and Football don't you know Another truely great Midfielder with vision, passing ability and could score a fair few too. Played for Corinthinas, which played in the Black and White. Fun Fact: Both Dunga and Socrates have played int he black and white of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, which keeps me strong for me all Black & White Football team... almost.

My repaired xbox sounds a lot nosiy then the first one, wonder if thats the extra fans?

I was tempted to pick this up yesterday, but the £40 price tag put me off. I'm going to hang back and wait for the price to come down and give it ago. If I'm honest, the gameplay videos I had seen made me think it looked and ran like a PSone Tomb Raider game. It didn't look like it moved smoothly at all.

That and Roy Keane would poo himself when he saw Alan Shearer

Fuck Football Manager and the games you can't win no matter what you do... fuck it in the nose, fucking twat bags -
Right so I understand the PS3 is region free and I can buy games from the US. Any good cheap US sites out there that do exports? Looking to get my hand on some cheap US Sports Titles!

Interestingly enough, I got mine back today as well! So they do clean it? I had assumed I got a different box, as it was a lot cleaner, and hadn't even thought to look at the serial number or anything. But I think it is the same as I had previously, not that I really remember it. Although, my little USB port thing, was broken at one hinge, and that seems to be fixed, so maybe they just put the same serial on a new console. (To keep track of the repairs maybe) Either that, or when they repair it, they fully repair it. Regardless, I got my Xbox back, and it works, so I'm happy. That'll be a new faceplate! Strange we got it back on the same day Haven't tried mine out yet, as I can't be bothered to remove the PS3 which has taken its place due the AWOL repair. Seems I have to fans on the back of the inside now, can't remember if I had two previously though - think I'm just seeing things haha.

haha I remember watching TromaTV late at night on Channel4 over here in the UK. When I worked at Virgin Megastore, I snapped up all the Toxic Avenger DVDs when they came in at £4.99 each. Had to import Toxie IV though. Cannibal the Musical is awesome too.

So far 4 players from the North East of England have been selected Represent! Alan Shearer - Gateshead/Newcastle Peter Beardsley - Newcastle Bryan Robson - County Durham Bobby Charlton - Ashington So far I'm really liking Huss' team, just seems like one of the most attacking dominating forces ever created so far, be interesting to see where you go
