I haven't been watching loads lately, just skimming through segments to see if they caught my eye. Maybe I've missed this build up, but why would Marty step in? And can't he only fight in his home state or something, or has that court order past? Shawn was thrown threw a glass TV monitor. The similarities to The Barber Shop incident were obvious to long time fans but this week on Raw they went a step further to educate new fans by having Jericho outright say it was kind of like what Shawn did to Marty, then showed clips of people Shawn turned on (Marty, Diesel, Hogan). Not so much a build, but a lot of referencing Marty who could possibly fight for Shawn. Yeah I understood and saw that, but I don't get how showing Michaels turning on Jannety and leaving wounded would mean Jannety would want to fight for Shawn against Jericho. Have they reconciled in the past that I might have missed? I mean it would be nice, but I can't make sense of it in my mind at the moment. Feel like I've been left out of the loop on something haha

Carlos is interesting, but I can't help but feel he's lived on 'that freekick' for most of his career. Personally wouldn't have chosen him, but if you're after that style of fullback I guess there's not many better then him. But how can you take sensational goals like this away from him? well strangely this guy managed to make one of them seem boring....

Same again for the NBA, outside of America I think the quality is very poor. I mean its starting to get ok in England, good old Newcastle Eagles do well every year, but again the gap in quality that it would take any fun away playing NBA teams.

I'll use football as my example, as I don't know much about rugby or cricket. Basically Every country has a 'premier league' the top league. In Europe the winner of which goes into the Champions' League which is a League/Cup, and they compete all over Europe against each other. Internationally, players are selected on merit to represent their home country. I think the reason this doesn't happen with American Sports as much is because you hold a 'monopoly' on the sports, no one outside of North America really plays 'American Football'. Ok, there's NFL Europe, and a few teams across the UK, but those are seen as joke and the standard is so different it would be like England Football Team v Chester Under 12 Girls Team. Also the different rules and versions of the games come into factor as well, where as Rugby and Football and generally governed by one body Rugby Union and FIFA, who set the rules for all to follow, which makes it easier for teams to play each other at all levels.
