Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to Matt Young's topic in Video Games
Guess that's kinda cool, can't think of who else it could be really. -
I'm working on my second consecutive year with no points. At this rate, people will be sending me money to pick them. Perhaps its a Chris thing, who knows.

Ooh totally forgot it was on again tonight, have to admit, my interest in LOST has totally waned this season. I can't put a finger exactly on why though. It just isn't grabbing me, don't feel like I need to watch it, or need to find out why they got off the island, or even why the have to go back. I think its finally 'Jumped the Shark' for me. Could even be the fact that I now know they got off the island that's done it for me. I've always enjoyed the mystical Island pull shit, the only thing I really want to know is all Locke/Jacob/Ben based at the moment.

Wonder how he'll sort this out. Different teams for different shows/Division/Push Bracket?
-
Didn't take them long to pull that video from YouTube. The website I ordered the game from posted it out to me yesterday, so I'm hoping it arrives either Saturday or Monday
-
I think this is the only time I've ever heard anything like this happening due to someone posting on a messageboard. Was it the guy who flooded the messageboard with that youtube video?
-
The game was leaked across the newsgroups last weekend, it should be hitting 'public' torrent sites soon, so expect indie stores to start selling the game early with any luck haha

Only a week to go!

I'll give it ago

Owen Hart v Bret Hart has to be my all time favorite though 1994 was the year I first really took an interest in wrestling, and my earliest memory of any match was Owen Hart, sweeping the leg away from under Bret Hart. So yeah, 1994 Owen Hart v Bret Hart year long feud gets my vote as all time build up.
-
Owen Hart's win is my most favorite of them all, his King of Harts gimmick was amazing, suited his character so well. It helped add fuel to the fire of the Bret/Owen feud too. 1. How much of the tournament should be shown on the PPV? Quarterfinals on? Semi-finals on? Personally didn't mind how much was shown QF on or SF on, as long as it had a good build up. There were some KotRs that just seemed to drag on as a PPV, while others had grabbed my attention on TV and I wanted to see it all. I remember 1998 being a good build up. In a strange contrast, 1994 wasn't really built up at all, however I enjoyed it for what it was as the matches were decent, and the Bret Hart/Lawler feud had carried over from last year. Infact, the whole 1994 year was a nicely booked year to establish the Owen Hart character. 2. Since the last KOTR PPV in 2002, do you think the WWE has been better at building young superstars? Worse? Well, I don't think its been any worse then its ever been really, sure KotR has been a good launching pad for some stars over the years (Rock, Austin, Owen Hart, Brock Lesnar). Though its certainly a great platform to try and establish a star on.

Steiner v Joe and Steiner v HHH - probably for comedy value though

Think I'm going to go through the year without a single death, people on my list must feel blessed.

haha Well, I used to like Seahawks, but changed to Browns once the Seahawks got to Superbowl. Was reading an article about American Football in a Newcastle United Fanzine, and it was about how the Cleveland Browns were basically the Newcastle United of American Football, in that they never win anything but have good supporters and a deep history in the game. So I thought, hey why not. It was Browns or Dolphins (since Dolphins are twined with Gateshead Senators the local American Football team in the North East)
-
Typical EA fashion, the UK version of Rock Band is almost double what its worth in the US. Wankers.
-
Think Browns are lucky, or maybe clever, in that there's no real decent offensive players in this years Draft, its mainly all D, as people have been saying all year round. Like I said earlier, I'm not sure what they need, I quiet like the team set up at the moment. Maybe some pacey CBs just to throw on against tired legs - watched NFL for years, but never really taken it into great depth until recently. Drafting Quinn and Thomas last year seems to have paid off, though I guess it'll show more come Sunday when they've made this years draft picks. Just glad I'll be able to catch Browns on telly for once.
-
aww its finally been deleated
-
Yeah, first he said that he went to work for them as the schedule was lighter, but later said he didn't enjoy it in TNA as he was missing Wrestlemania's.
-
I'm just hoping it wasn't a one off season for the Browns (and Anderson) and that they can do some good again this season. NFL certainly think so, so many prime time football games for the Browns this year, after like 3-4 years of NO TV! Not sure who'll they'll go for in the draft.

Strange how things go around, one of the promotions Drew McIntyre sometimes worked for over here in the UK had a long standing Stable called 'The Empire' fronted by 'Sir' Jonathon Britain. Guess we'll see what happens to Drew. As for Kevin Thorn, they must like him as I'm sure anyone else would have been released by now after 2 attempts at pretty 'good' gimmicks fizzled out. -- This made me laugh, TNA4Life's post and his avatar just made me laugh haha http://fans.wwe.com/go/thread/view/701/175...better_than_TNA haha shit, the topics keep getting better: http://fans.wwe.com/go/thread/view/701/262...ink_is_on_ROIDS -
Just watched the Hardy's DVD 'Twist of Fate' was pretty interesting, and didn't seem to glaze over much - talked about Lita/Edge/Matt and even Jeff's drug abuse (though not in amazing detail). Jeff even name dropped TNA a few times on the dvd, which I was surprised they'd keep in. Funniest part though, is the great commentary from people about how Jeff has turned his life around, is clean, and is going to be the next World Champion.

Not surprising, THEEE Drew Galloway's debut was less then impressive, he cut a strange promo that almost made him a face, then acted like a heel when he came out. Shame though, his cocky character he's had a for a few years over here in the UK was pretty awesome. He had a stable called The Foreign Legion, him (Scottish) a Frenchmen and a German (I think) and they played the cocky/wimpish heels really well -
Don't be too sure on that, this is after all a global release. Most websites have forfilled their allocation and have put up 'sold out' signs. GAME (in the UK) will stop taking pre orders for the game probably Thursday, if not sooner.

So, first time I've watched Raw in a while, but, has Mickie James had her implants removed?

Strangely, I think that was my best game of the season lol
