I just didn't care for this episode at all, even the 'big reveal' was pretty much granted and foreshadowed at the start of season 4. Sun/Jin lost all interest when she got pregnant for me, all they do now is mention she's going to die because of the baby once in a while, if they remember. This season has been pretty poor over all so far, only stand out moments were Desmond's Episode, Locke being a psycho and Ben's mind games.

Is that true about Ashley being a junkie as well? Would explain the way she looks most of the time if it is. However, as others have said, fair play to WWE for sticking to their guns and not suspending him x months down the road once he's cooled off. My thoughts go out to Matt Hardy who must be going through a tough time worrying about his Brother, yet again.

Thought this was an old topic that got bumped for some funny line someone rediscovered, sadly, it isn't. What a twat.

Matt wins US title, Jeff wins Heavyweight Title/or MITB match, and they have the confetti hug celebration which they can use instead of the Benoit Eddy one.

Quarterfinals, TSM Worst Poster Tournament
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in No Holds Barred
I went with Enigma simply for the fact that everything he says has already been copied and pasted from somewhere else, and he comes across like he some sort of authority on wrestling because he can ctrl+c ctrl+v countless shitty posts. I'm sure he's a good guy, but his av pisses me off too, and the fact he seems proud that he beta tested shadowrun. -
Please don't buy, bought it finished it, took it back to the store where I worked and pretty much tried to give it away to customers. Awful awful awful game, I'd say it was worse then the Kane & Lynch. Next time the Ubisoft rep comes into the shop, he's getting a verbal beat down. The voice replacement actors aren't even close to the voices they're trying to pull off, the main characters movements are chunky and clumsy. The flashbacks are pretty much almost pointless, apart from the achievement points you unlock. Very poor all round. So much potential so little achieved. EA's Sims2 Castaway is more fun then this - and strangely more like LOST.

I've used Ebuyer for a few years now, but nothing bigger then upgrading a graphics card, or buying some extra ram. I've had my PC for more or less 5/6 years now, in terms of Mobo and Processor, so I think its time I upgraded. I'm mainly looking for a new Mobo/Processor combo, about 2gb of RAM and a huge HD (around 300gb). It won't be used for gaming (I have a 360) so I'm not that bothered about playing the latest amazing games on it. The most gaming that will get done on it will be Football Manager, TEW and perhaps World of Warcraft later down the road. The PC upgrade will basically be there for me to run pro tools of it and record some guitar tracks. I was looking for some help and suggestions as to what would be a good Mobo and Processor to go for, as well as PSU to run it. I was thinking of the following: Processor Gigabyte MOBO PSU Harddrive Which comes to around £200 Thanks for any help, Chris

Bossman was well looked after by the WWE, it would seem.

I'm betting Live gets better once people's 30 day free trials from Christmas run out and they don't renew em.

Just when you thought being a Newcastle United fan couldn't get any more painful along comes a 6-0 demolition against Man U... that was painful to watch.

I'm going to watch Burn Hollywood, Burn - An Alan Smithee Movie. I'm really tired of this writer's strike messing up the viewing schedule.

TEW2008 announced as in Development over on Greydog. Hopefully he can balance a few issues regarding 'brands' they seemed rather useless in TEW2007, and often led to problems in real world data.

Comments that don't warrant a thread

As an English Gamer, I find that its often the Americans that seem to give alot of abuse over Xboxlive - often as soon as they find out you're British. Even then, there's alot of trash talking Americans v Americans. You guys seriously need to sort out some sort of internet etiquette classes or something. Saying that, there's still really stupid British people on Xboxlive, often, however, they act like Americans with the mannerism and language they choose. -
3rd or 4th PPV show, he had a 'boxing' match with Tiny the Timekeeper.

So in other words, the UK turns into the US? Oh god. You'd seriously be surprised how accurate your statement is. Its like the UK Government has looked at the US model and went... THAT'S FOR US!

WWE General Discussion - January 2008
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in The WWE Folder
Sweet, all places I wouldn't mind seeing. Would make the trip from Newcastle, UK worth while, as well as the Rumble obviously. -
A few years ago, just as I stopped watching in 2002 I was really worried there wouldn't be much of a WWE to watch if I started again, as I couldn't see any future stars. But they've managed to create some over those 5 years - Batitsa, Cena, Orton, Jeff Hardy's profile really rose as well, so its all good. In a few years time we'll have D H Smith, Colt, Punk, Cody all up there too which will make for an entertaining IC Title scene for a while.

WWE General Discussion - January 2008

Hopefully, I can save up and get to next year's Rumble - any idea where it is yet? -
To think ROH and TNA pretty much started at the same time, and in the 5 years, self hype and shouting till people can't take it anymore not included, it would seem ROH are the most successful out of the two. They make money, they've made a name for themselves across the wrestling world, are probably the most prestiges of the two companies. If ROH had a 'national' TV deal and regular monthly PPVs ala TNA, would ROH be the #2 company in North America? ROH have created their own stars, have forged a name and reputation for themselves, just the company but the titles they hold within the promotion. They've even set up a sister promotion and a wrestling school. TNA are regarded as a second rate washed up WCW/WWF wannabe promotion, they've created very little - if any stars. In truth, do you mark out for AJ and Joe for the work they've done in TNA, or from what you saw and remember them doing in ROH? TNA doesn't seem much more then an over glamorous regional wrestling promotion at times, at the most it looks like 1994 WCW, with it being stuck in the 'iMPACT Zone' every week and almost every PPV. However, this is the only thing that TNA seems to have over ROH at the moment - production values. ROH often annoys me with its unmixed sound, crowds droning over Mics when wrestlers are cutting in ring promos annoy the hell out of me. However, if you were to put ROH on a similar stage as TNA, I'm sure they'd even do that in more professional way. You'd think TNA would feel a little ashamed that ROH have been able to form by themselves, without having to shout and fight with TV companies, without having to leech money from a huge power company to offset the loses. And I'm not even a huge ROH mark - seen about 3 full shows and a handful of matches.

Slightly off topic, but I totally marked out yesterday when Peter Beardsley walked into the store. I couldn't stop grinning, he chatted and shook my hand, was totally awesome. Then moments later David Edgar showed up and no one knew who he was, poor kid.
