They are but they're shite - head accessories.

The most fun I have is jumping around with the Spiderman Theme Song on and collecting flags. Sometimes I bitch slap a gaurd and laugh gayly as he chases me around town. "CATCH ME, CATCH ME!"

Congress to Hold Steroid Hearings Next Session
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
What? No, wrong. Curt Hennig, The Wall, and Crash Holly were all working for TNA every week when they ODed. And wasn't 'Director of Authority' Erik Watts fired/released for Drugs Abuse? -
Wii's hit the UK 23rd November, then once they're gone... they're gone, at least till after Christmas

Grand Theft Auto 4? I don't see how they can do much more to Tekken that hasn't already been done. More characters? Sure that'll be cool, more arenas, that'll be cool too. But it'll still be the same Tekken that was on the PS1, there's just not enough scope on the game to change it around enough to make it 'fresh' and GOTY worthy, in my opinion.

I'm sorry, but isn't that the whole point of a game in a world like retail where everyone is after your money? I could make the best game in the world, but if it doesn't create the interest then its not going to matter at all. I look at Motorstorm and it looks like a boring dirt track racing game. It has nothing going for it as far as I can see. The Sixaxis control on it is total wank. Resistance, again, didn't interest me as a release title, so again restricted my desire to buy a PS3. So once again a lack of INTEREST hindered the PS3. Warhawk looks half interesting with it being online only. And like I said before, most of the other games on the PS3, I can pick up on the 360 for £10-£20 cheaper with exactly the same features, if not improved ones (Frame rate, custom soundtracks, decent online play). I can tell you now, saving £10-£20 on a game has me VERY interested.

Well, in addition to Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Resistance, and Motorstorm, there's the recently released Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, Folklore, Ratchet and Clank Future, and Smackdown vs. Raw 08. Plus, Time Crisis 4 and Uncharted are coming out next week, and the latter is getting great scores all around. lol no games Those "recent" releases are all within the last month or so. Meanwhile, the amount of worthwhile release Wii games can be counted on a one shop teacher's hand. Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Resistance, and Motorstorm - don't interest me at all. All look like generic games for their genre at best. Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, and Smackdown vs. Raw 08 I can get on the 360 much cheaper and are just as good, if not better.

I'll agree with: Mario/Sonic Water Levels Halo Franchise Flood Levels

PS3 sales have rocketed in our store this month - but that's due to no one else having 60GB PS3s left, and word getting around that Sony aren't making anymore... and probably it being, you know, Christmas. There's still no games to play on it though.

More chance of them 'updating' Halo1 maps and selling them as DLC Map Packs for Halo3
-
Yeah, but they seem to repeat themselves alot. Sometimes it even ignores what choice you make when it gives you an option. So far I've had - McMahon Family ganging up on Superstar Stephanie McMahon leading a Diva Revolution Diva's tricking Coach to get Carlito a Title Shot Too Many Contenders

CHIKARA releases first retail DVD
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to King Cucaracha's topic in General Wrestling
Always nice to see CHIKARA expand that little extra every year, truely the best promotion around at the moment. Great wrestling, fun and exciting shows. -
I've made, what I think, is an OK looking Paul London, if you're on xboxlive I'll trade him. Gamertag: Chriswok

DivX support would unreal - isn't PS3 getting a firmware update to support DivX soon? The Fall update will probably bring about the wrath of the banhammer onto those people with modified Xboxs, if anything else.

Comments that don't warrant a thread
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to {''({o..o})''}'s topic in Video Games
We used to have Guitar Hero set up in our store - now, no one can listen to Sweet Child of Mine again. -
Didn't someone post a link in this thread to an interview where they said they'd use the Marketplace to release legends?
-
Yes it will, but I doubt they'll have Roster updates - as where would the incentive be to buy next years 'roster update' of SDvRaw09. It'll more likely be things like extra legends to buy from the Marketplace.

So, for those shows that will have a sudden unannounced mid season break, will they have the writers have a 'backup' cliff hanger episode on hand for the strike? Example LOST, they originally wanted it to have a straight run with no breaks - hence the smaller number of episodes and it starting later on in the Fall/Winter Schedule. Do you think that last written episode will have a Cliff Hanger thrown into it to keep people hanging on during a possible strike, or will it just be whatever it was originally?

Will this only affect the US mainly, with the UK getting a slight ripple effect from the US Shows it imports?

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to HollywoodSpikeJenkins's topic in Television & Film
First I've ever heard of it, any give me a run down of what its about/is? I'm half hooked just reading how funny you guys say it is. -
So can you still watch Chris Benoit matches?
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to brokentusk16's topic in The WWE Folder
There's moments where he does this crazy ass glare/grin and its pretty spine chilling now. I can still watch his matches just fine though. -
WWE General Discussion - November 2007
Obi Chris Kenobi replied to Craig Th's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah, I was watching an old Raw yesterday where John Morrison teamed up with the other winner in a tag match, was funny seeing him with short hair. -
Who also popped up in an episode of X-Files, which also had Jack Black in the same episode - I'm pretty sure Jack Black has appeared at least twice as different characters in the X-Files. There's also a link between ER, X-Files and Lost in terms of actor usage.

Anyone else think this season of Heroes feels cheaper then last season production and 'bluescreen'. A number of times so far this season you can blatantly tell its done on a bluescreen even before any powers have been used, it just has that 'haze' about it.

They was always talk of an X-Files Movie Franchise, and if they did it as stand alone movies based around horror stories and other cult things, it could work very well. Mulder and Scully have a fanbase and inbuilt history, so it wouldn't need THAT explained in the movies, just enough so the new fans can catch on. I hope this works out well and we get a string of decent X-Files movies out over the next 5 years - though I am an X-Files mark.
