JBL & Orlando > HHH and a guy older than my dad

He's the best figurehead since the Foley vs. Edge & Christian days. I was really worried for awhile that they were going to remove him during the Carlito storyline. Last summer when Benoit was champ things were different, but the Smackdown world title picture has been better ever since Summerslam, especially during the Angle/JBL feud. I like HHH, I really do. The problem is that I'm just sick of seeing him all the time. At least as champ. They completely messed up with Orton. I would add Shawn Michaels to this list too as I have no interest in seeing him going over guys who have a future like Jericho or Edge. We get many good CW matches on Velocity. Even if they don't make it on Smackdown all the time. Absolutely. This is probably the biggest reason. Smackdown wrestlers I like outnumber RAW wrestlers I like almost 2 to 1. I'll take the likes of Paul London & Chavo Guerrero over Viscera & Chris Masters anyday. RAW is filled with useless guys (Masters, Viscera, Flair, Rosey, Snitsky, Dean, Tomko, Grenier, etc.) where as on Smackdown pretty much everybody has at least some value aside from Heidenreich. and possibly Hardcore Holly. There are just so many guys on RAW that make me want to turn off the show as soon they come out. Eh...Undertaker is basically a non-entity as a full time performer. I actually think he would be better suited on RAW, but I don't hate him or anything. If it wasn't for this guy, I would really be struggling to watch the product at this point. There is some good stuff, but he is really the only guy (besides Batista) that is on fire at this point. This has been a problem for awhile. My feelings is that if Smackdown is even near equal to RAW in terms of product, that it will seem better simply because the announcing crew is so much better. I often cringe during RAW and RAW PPV matches, and Heat is unwatchable because the announcing is so bad. Easily. In fact you summed up pretty much how I feel aside from the Undertaker thing. This comes into play with both the point about the rosters and the one about the announcers. Smackdown has a lot more depth in the lower card. The only lowcarders on RAW that I even care about are the mega-stale Hurricane, Val Venis, and Tajiri when he's not getting a push like he seems to get every few months.

Using WWE Logic, Kane is the worst wrestler in the match so he will win.

I prefer Smackdown to RAW on the whole, although some weeks RAW is better. I like the non-spoilers, because it gives you something to look forward to. I always find that I look forward to a show more when I know what I'm going to be seeing but not the outcome.

Two potentionally good matches. One of which is on Velocity. Not a good week, but at least the main event should be interesting. The killed Heidenreich's career at the Royal Rumble, just send the guy back down to OVW already. They are only damaging him further by keeping him in the big leagues.

Some of us hang out in the Current Events folder, but that might just make things worse.

They couldn't resist the alliteration. They've changed the date and moved it to November, so it's going to get higher buyrates. They've learned their lesson from putting on a weeknight PPV...the same night the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees have a ALCS game, which took away a shit load of people. And yet it is still Taboo Tuesday, so obviously they haven't learned that much. I like the concept, and I am for anything that brings some uniqueness to the PPVs, but putting it on Tuesday is terrible. Just put it on a Sunday already.

Is Warrior on good terms with Vince? Because if not, why not just do the Savage DVD which would probably sell a lot better?

If Shawn loses it is 100% guaranteed that Orton is going over Taker. Personally, I think Shawn should go over. Heels shouldn't win these one-time-only matches, especially when the heel wouldn't benefit that much from the win.

Just show the damn fight. How many times do they need to cut to the crowd?

Thank you and good night. I agree with AndrewTS here. There is nothing you can get on the X-Box that you can't get anywhere else. Even their two best games, KOTOR I & II are available for the PC. There is simply no reason to get an X-Box unless you plan on it being your only system (ie. you don't care about the exclusives on anything else). Since I mainly play RPGs, sports games (available everywhere), and the Mario theme games (Paper, Kart, Tennis, Golf, Party, etc.), there is absolutely no reason for someone like me to get an X-Box. Microsoft has to make more of an impact in Japan for me even to consider the X-Box.

Gross is starting the season at AAA. They are going with a Johnson/Catalanotto platoon for the time being.

He's better than a slug like Masters, but not at the level of Orton or Cena. He's like a poor man's Christian, ie. Midcarder-for-Life.

Some of the circumstances may sound odd, but it is hardly enough evidence to get me to believe that the whole thing was a hoax. Really, that part of the story is irrelevent anyways. The big thing is that the car did not stop at the checkpoint. The easy thing to do is to blame the driver of the car for the whole mess, so that's what I'll do. INXS is right. If you don't stop at a checkpoint, you are going to get shot at. End of story.

Oh okay. I never knew anything about this. And the first post that talks about it in the this thread simply talked about Canadians serving in Vietnam. Obviously the Canadian government did not take part.

I think Hamilton could easily support a team too.

What was wrong w/ it? The television signal screwed up in the middle of the match and we got a Technical Difficulties picture with Steve Austin. It came back on for the finish.

Believe it or not, she was right. Canadians did serve in Vietnam as a part of the foreign contingent in the US military. There are no exact numbers because our government did not actively participate in the war, but the accepted estimates seem to be around 3000, with some going as high as 15,000. I'm not that knowledgable about the subject so I can't give an opinion on what is more likely. 80 or so were killed.

I actually don't think it's even included on the disc, which is why I edited my post. I only took a quick look at the extras, but even though the back of the box says that there should be an extra match, no extra match is listed int he menu on the disc. Ok. I can see why they would cut it out given the circumstances, but they should have fixed the packaging.

He's a great champion, but I think having him keep it to Summerslam damages Cena too much. Judgment Day is better and I might even go as far as Great American Bash so that JBL loses it one year after winning it.

Did they fix the Rhyno/Maven match?

He's the right guy, but it is the wrong time. As already mentioned, the money is in the chase and Cena hasn't had much of one. JBL is dead as a challenger as soon as Cena wins so the best thing to do is to have an inconclusive finish at Mania since it isn't the main event anyways, and then have Cena win a rematch at Judgment Day. They are in all likelihood going to run with that match at Judgment Day anyways and I would much rather have Cena chasing JBL for two months rather than JBL complaining how he got screwed.

Too much revenue from those taxes, you can't cut them.
