At least Bush loves the enviornment....
Kahran Ramsus replied to NoCalMike's topic in Current Events
That has nothing to do with global warming, which is what Mike is talking about. -
According to the Score & TSN the NHL has made a final offer at a $42.5 million cap, and the Union has until 11 AM to respond.

The AWA was big in some parts of Canada, though. They used to run successful shows in Winnipeg all the time if I'm not mistaken. But nationally, yeah, you're probably right. Perhaps, I don't know. But in Ontario you would be lucky to find someone who even knows what the AWA is.

Not a chance. Volcanic activity is completely determined from convection currents in the mantle and/or plate boundaries. It has nothing to do with the atmosphere at all, but what is coming up from underneath. It will, and it will influence the length of growing seasons as well. For example, in Saskatchewan it will become significantly drier and production will go down, like during the Depression. But in Ontario, because of the longer summers, the farmers there would benefit. These are all localized, of course. On a more global scale, the further away from the equator you go, and the further west you go, the bigger an impact global warming will have. Aside from the arctic regions (Antarctica is cold because of the West Wind Drift and wouldn't be affected greatly by atmospheric changes), the areas that would be most affected in a negative way would be Peru, the Pacific Coast of the US, Western Europe (especially France & Spain), and Western Australia. Western Africa likely would, but climate conditions are so shitty there now that I don't think it matters too much. -
The owners just won. It won't be time enough to save this season, but the Union just opened Pandora's Box by offering a cap. They won't be able to get off of it now.

through this post we can see Kahran has thought about attacking the United States of America and even has a set plan on how he will go about doing so in the future. I don't feel safe on this messageboard with a national security threat like this roaming about. Nah. I would just enter the Canadian border and get my explosives in the US.

He started the thread.

The Mexicans are just looking for work. But there are more than just Mexicans coming through. Don't think that people in other countries don't notice. If I was a terrorist that is exactly where I would try to get in.
-
Kurt seems pretty stubborn. It probably should be his last match, he may even 'retire' afterwards, but I would count on seeing him back at some point.
-
The 9/11 terrorists came straight from Germany. Notice how when terrorists get caught entering the US it is at the Canadian border? That's what border guards are for. I'd be more worried about the southern border where who knows what is entering without fear of being caught.

The Breakdown. He could never do it properly, it is good that it is gone. Does Eddy do the Lasso from El Paso anymore?
-
I haven't seen Benoit do a lot of top rope tombstones or powerbombs recently.

Normal male penguins sit on eggs. I don't see how them sitting on rocks tells you anything about them other than that they are retarded penguins.

Trade him to the Browns.

Because Gary Bettman is a genius, natch Florida & California have a lot of snowbirds, so I could see them supporting teams, but sticking them in Carolina & Atlanta is ridiculous.

We talked about this in the WWE Folder just last week. So I see no reason to leave this open. Look for it on the second or third pages. EDIT: My mistake. It was on the first page. http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...opic=66908&st=0

Its Wednesday now. I don't know why it was pushed back.

We are NOTHING to this planet. Nothing. Volcanoes spew more pollutants in one eruption than we have --- in our history --- combined. -=Mike It has been proven that humans can put enough toxins into the environment to create serious health risks for ourselves. Volcanoes didn't create the smog over Los Angeles, the raditiation in the American southwest, or the sewage in the Missouri River. Humans did. Do humans have the power to destroy the ecosystem forever? Perhaps not. Do humans have the power to poison the environment so that people's health is seriously at risk? Absolutely. Well At least someone gets it!!! Hey, I've been saying that all along. We also have the power to clean most (not all) of it up, if we actually got up and decided to do something about it. Lake Erie is in much better shape than it used to be. -
In Canada? I won't count non-wrestlers like McMahon either, who if you include would be 1A. 1) Bret Hart 2) Owen Hart 3) Hulk Hogan 4) The Rock 5) Shawn Michaels 6) Jesse Ventura 7) Steve Austin 8) Ric Flair 9) Ultimate Warrior 10) British Bulldog Except for Flair, it is all WWF all the time up here. WCW never really made that much of an impact and the AWA none at all. The top 5 are pretty much in stone. After that the order may be wrong for the rest of them. Bret, Owen, Hogan, Rock & HBK are the big five as far as Canada is concerned. Honourable mentions include Kurt Angle (believe it or not), HHH, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho & Randy Savage.

It was main evented by three straight negative-star matches if I recall. Poor Montreal. First the screwjob, then they had to endur that abortion of a show. The worst since 1999 easily.

It isn't exactly difficult to avoid spoilers.

Smackdown used to be thought of more highly when Brock Lesnar was the next big thing and being pushed heavily on it. Coincidently, it was also the same time that Steph was GM.
-
Bulldog also had great matches with Owen.

I've lived in Ontario and in central Florida, and I can outright say that racism is a much bigger problem in Florida.

The St. Louis Rams. Going from Dick Vermiel to Mike Martz is like ordering a PPV for Benoit/Guerrero and finding out they were replaced by Viscera/Heidenreich during the show. I was never a huge Rams fan either, but I liked them. Imagine how the diehard fans must think.
