I have said it before, and nobody listened to me then either. People buy shows based on the main event. If the main event looks terrible they won't order it, if it looks good, then they will. The rest of the card has very little impact.

McNabb - Playing in his 4th straight NFC Championship Game, 3rd at home. If they lose here, Eagles fans are going to be demanding some answers. Vick - He was injured last year, and the team was terrible. He's done well just to get this far. Roethlisberger - Rookie who won 15 straight games. If he loses, the blame will go on Cowher, who's playoff record isn't great. Just like Marty got the blame for the Chargers loss. Brady - He's a two time Super Bowl MVP. He won't have any pressure on him. It is easily McNabb.

The NFLPA is included too. I agree that the biggest hit is the baseball games. MVP just crushed its competition this year. With the other sports, the difference in quality is not as great between brands.

I have no problem with assholes. Lawrence Taylor was one of the best players to ever play football. The problem with Moss is that he is more like Jeff George in that his attitude affects his play on the field. Just look at the Chicago game from last season where he let the corner just take the ball from him in the endzone, and that one play ended up being the difference in their season. He is too much of a loose cannon.

My guess is that they got a portion of the profits, which was lessened by the price drop. I'm not sure if the whole thing is even true. I just remembered it being mentioned in the original article.

What he means is that it was originally reported that the NFL sought out this deal (not EA) because they were upset over the pricing of the Sega games, in which case the NFL is to blame for this and not EA. I don't know the full story, so I won't go beyond saying that this whole fiasco is bad for video games.

If the decision was based purely on this task, and it was, then Danny was not the reason they lost. Although, I would have fired him anyways, because I can't see anyway he can possibly work out.

Now that you mention it, the NHL has really sucked so far this year... Americans wouldn't know, it wasn't on network television to begin with.

There hasn't been a truly funny new sitcom since Family Guy. That's why the genre is failing, not the onslaught from reality shows. Dramas are doing just fine, but the public doesn't want all drama all the time, they need something more light-hearted as a change of pace, and the crummy sitcom writers sure aren't doing it. Why don't you complain about professional sports while you are at it?

VHS is still sold now. By the time they stop producing DVDs, it is likely that the next generation after HDDVD/BluRay will be out.

I know one place which has it, along with various other Catan add-ons (using various historical settings), but the store is awfully pricey (Diplomacy was like $120, usually you can get it for $80 Canadian) so I haven't decided whether I want to get it or not. And after that there is the matter of trying to figure out what version I want. I think there are 2 or 3 full version to go along with the expansion packs.

About cleaning the lens; do you have to open up the PS2? Or will a can of compressed air on the tray, fan in the back and vents do the trick? Yes. It isn't too hard. Just remember to have the system off when you are doing it. Common sense, but some people seem to lack it these days. The original PS2s had defective lasers which decrease in intensity over time and can no longer see through dust and dirt. Eventually they will go kaput even with cleaning, but you can probably survive long enough until the PS3 comes out and you won't need it any more anyways. Normally you shouldn't have to this, but it could extend the system life by a couple of years or even more, if you have the original model. The less you use it, the less often you need to clean it, likewise if you keep in a clean environment. Just search on Google and you will find instructions.

Then he got forced into a war with Prussia (public opinion was overwhelmingly in favour of the war), he goes out himself to lead an army under pressure despite that fact that he hated the battlefield, fought bravely at Sedan, and then is turfed from power a couple of days after being captured by the Prussians and blamed for the war. Then they continue the war and proceed to get Paris nearly obliterated. The country, to this day, has never recovered all of what they had before the war.

I thought about getting Settlers of Catan. I play Monopoly (either NFL or Lord of the Rings Trilogy usually, I also have Star Wars Trilogy), Clue, Life, Risk & Scotland Yard all the time. Scotland Yard is my favourite, you can get some pretty tense moments in that game. I try to play Diplomacy when I can, but it is hard getting enough people who want to play it at once. It doesn't work without at least 6 (no Italy), preferably 7.

For the retarded among us (see also: me) what are the OaOast folders? Some folders named after a guy who was also rabbit-ears banned That was different. He was simply being an ass in the Sports Folder and we just got sick of him.
