It should be noted that I blame Orton for none of this. He wasn't the one that booked himself to look so week during the Evolution breakup and his run as champ. He HAD to beat HHH at Unforgiven. If that had happened, things might have turned out differently. Instead, he's just seen as another loser, especially since he spent the entire feud to that point getting either beat up by Evolution or running from Evolution.

FACT: Batista gets more cheers than Orton. That's the only thing that matters. And it is a problem if Orton is designated as the next big thing.
-
That's the problem. Nobody buys him at all. He just seems like he's trying too hard to be like the Rock. For those that were complaining in the summer about HHH being the face in the feud, Orton as the face is much worse. They should have had Orton stay heel. They might have had a shot then. Nobody is going to cheer for Orton over HHH,l let alone the badass Batista. Orton isn't a bad wrestler. He's better than Batista is. But I just can't cheer for the guy.

HHH winning isn't the problem. It is that it is soooooooo obvious that they are doing HHH/Orton at Mania, and nobody gives a flying fuck about that feud or to a lesser extent Orton in general. Oh easily. JBL is a great character, and although he isn't a fantastic worker he can be carried well enough by guys like Eddy & Angle. Smackdown's lower card is pretty good too, with all the cruisers and guys like Luther & Carlito. Their problem is that aside from John Cena, they have absolutely nothing between the low card guys and the main eventers so they are forced to promote guys that belong in no way shape and form (Heidenreich). They could really use someone like Jericho.

And I despise it every time they do it. One of the biggest problems with WWE, if not the biggest problem, is giving away the outcome to your PPV main events on the show before the PPV. They have done it all year with HHH and JBL, and it just kills any motivation for anyone to order the show, since you already know who's going to win. I know that there have been shows that I have not ordered and otherwise would have, just because they foretold the main event finish in advance. I think it is a major cause of the decline in PPV buyrates.

This show was a bigger disgrace than the play of the Packers today.

The absolute worst possible booking for that match.
-
Well, that's who should have won it.

And you wonder why nobody in the league respects the Vikings and their fans.

Well, congratulations to the Minnesota Vikings. You wanted it more than we did apparently. Don't mind me when I cheer for Philadelphia next week though. Normally, I don't hold grudges, but I do with regards to sports. I hated Denver for years following Super Bowl XXXII. I am disgusted with the way the Packers played however, especially Brett Favre and the WRs, none of whom seemed to treat this game seriously (witness Favre's 'pass' at the end of the first half).
-
I'll be leaving for this game. I might make a visit here at halftime. Good luck everyone.
-
It is no secret who I am cheering for.
-
Right now I am afraid because Steve Young picked the Packers too. Thus far he had the Seahawks, Chargers & Broncos.

And there's the dagger.

I am midly interested in this PPV, but no way am I going to watch this when the 24 Season Premiere is on, especially with Royal Rumble up next.

I'm not a Bush supporter, but I don't think he's the equivalent to Hitler or even the worst US president in my life time. His domestic policy seems to need a lot of work, and I like his basic principles as far as dealing with foreign policy, but I don't think he's executed that well. That's actually pretty much how I feel about him overall. I think he is a genuinely good person who's in over his head with this job. More like what was the opinion of him pre-911 in other words.
-
Well, things seem back on track with this game. The Colts are just killing them.
-
I also seem to remember Baltimore playing Tennessee in the Divisional Playoffs in 2000, while Oakland was busy squashing somebody in the other game, probably Miami.
-
Tito Santana. He was decent, but he was great in pretty much every category and aside from two IC Titles he was usually the guy you got to put over the new guy getting a push. Painfully average.
-
JBL wasn't a star until afterwards. Big Show & Angle were injured, and Taker was a part-timer pretty much.
-
I'm 0 for 2 thus far. So chances are I will get two right today to make it up. I can't see the road team taking 3 games this week.
-
The Saints would have beaten either of those losers.

Get No Way Out if you don't have the Eddy Guerrero DVD with the Lesnar match on it. Otherwise go with Wrestlemania XX, even if you do have the Triple Threat. Royal Rumble, No Way Out, Wrestlemania, Backlash, Badd Blood, Vengeance & Summerslam are the only ones worth taking a look at.

This is the sloppiest non-weather related NFL Playoff game that I can remember watching. Usually at least ONE team shows up to play. Neither did today.
