I've never even been to California. What I meant is that in terms of making decisions they are often in another reality. I probably should have said the stupidity of California with the overall crumminess of MLB. Of course I still don't see much of the appeal of Southern California (sand...yippee), but from a geographic perspective the north can be quite beautiful. Also, yes, I do prefer winter.

Don't forget Brett Favre, Ray Lewis, and more generally the Baltimore Ravens. Also Michael Vick. Favre usually only gets love when he is close to passing some record. Otherwise you get talks about how he should have retired years ago. He was 28 when the media first declared him washed-up, only to suck up to him later. The Packers get more favourtism than a team that the media actively seems to hate (like Minnesota or Oakland), but hardly the level that a team like Dallas or Philadelphia gets.

Combine the stupidity of MLB with the overall crumminess of California and this is what you get.

Is Mike Martz a crappy coach that you hate?
Kahran Ramsus replied to The Czech Republic's topic in Sports
I voted Yes. I don't hate the Rams. I just hate the Rams when they are coached by Mike Martz. -
He was pretending to be the servant of Sauron, but he was secretly plotting to betray him and become the new dark lord with Isengard as his Mordor. Sauron knew full well what was going on, and in the long run Saruman was actually serving Sauron unknowingly. But make no mistake, Saruman was having Merry & Pippin brought to Orthanc for a reason, rather than take them to Mordor. If he got the Ring, he wasn't about to give it up to Sauron willingly. Note that I said 'willingly', Sauron likely would have gotten it anyways. My question is what exactly became of the Seven. I seem to remember the dwarves destroying/losing a bunch and Sauron getting the rest, but do you have any more details than that? I know that the Nine belong to the Nazgul, the Three are currently held by Gandalf, Elrond & Galadriel, and that Frodo has the One, but I forget the fate of the dwarven rings.

Hawaii and Alaska get hit a lot.

If the Seahawks play the Pack again in the playoffs, whoever's working the scoreboard is going to have a busy night. Wouldn't that be the case with Seattle/Minnesota too?

Canadian PM Paul Martin visits Libya

I mean that they put forward a measure that fails, we get a vote of no confidence and the Governor General dissolves parliament and calls an election. -
The 67s are on every Friday at the very least. They are also on quite a bit on Sundays. Although they are off all weekend because of Christmas. The next televised game is against Oshawa on Tuesday Dec 28th.

Randy Savage Ted Dibiase Ricky Steamboat Hulk Hogan Ric Flair Bret Hart Steve Austin The Rock Chris Benoit Mr. Perfect Owen Hart Shawn Michaels Rick Rude Dynamite Kid Chris Jericho Jake Roberts Arn Anderson Tully Blanchard Rey Misterio Eddy Guerrero My announcing crew is Gorilla & Jesse. If they have to be a part of the 20, toss out Rey & Eddy. Monsoon & Ventura's commentary makes the product as a whole so much better, I'd have to have them in my ideal company.

Well, Martin got angry with her about that. But it wasn't til she lashed out against Martin that she ended up getting kicked out and deservedly so. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/20...rish041118.html -

Who was kicked out of the party for saying that she would like to see the government defeated. The Liberals & NDP together only hold 152 seats. The Bloq & Conservatives hold 153 seats. They get one more and the government falls (they will wait for the right timing though). Martin's not going to try and push anything too extreme through for that reason. The NDP has no say in what goes on at all. This isn't the 60s and 70s when they were holding the balance of power. The government will fall, the question is when and how. Either the Conservatives will bring him down, or the Liberals will want their majority back and try to push something that they know won't get passed to try and force an election (like Trudeau did). We're looking at about a year and half tops before there will be another election. -

The NDP still doesn't give them the majority though. -

I like to get paid while I'm working. That's why I would never support the NDP. I don't want all my money going to pay to support some lazy bum next door that refuses to work. -
It still means alot. In 1988, the WWF had Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Ricky Steamboat, Andre, Rick Rude, Jake Roberts, Bret Hart, Curt Hennig, Shawn Michaels, Dynamite Kid, Ted Dibiase, Greg Valentine, Honky Tonk Man, Davey Boy Smith, Owen Hart, Don Muraco, Bad News Brown, JYD, Rick Martel, Harley Race...Vince would kill for that kind of roster these days. A fantastic mix of name guys (Hogan, Warrior, Andre) and the greatest workers of that generation (Perfect, Hart, Steamboat). Guys that were gold on the mic (Roberts, Dibiase, Rude).

I would vote Liberal if it meant not letting the NDP win. They me be corrupt, but at least they aren't destructive. I had enough of the NDP when Bob Rae was premier of Ontario, and Layton's worse than he is. -
Hogan doesn't draw like Hogan used to. And thanks for trolling. Have a nice day. Right... saying Brock won't draw is "Trolling". I don't think he will draw, and we'll see if I'm right when he returns. I mean.. if I'm not a Troll by then and can still work the TV set. He'll improve the product greatly. That's enough.

I wouldn't start my own thread on this either. But you care too much if you are getting bent of shape over this.

They are making a mistake if they job him out. I know it would be bad for morale, but tell the children to grow up. Brock was the one true can't miss impact player that either brand had. He is way too valuable to force him to pay his dues. No matter what he did, he is too important for business.

What I meant was that I don't remember a situation where Jack chose the life of his family over the life of Palmer. He always had a plan to try and do both. Tony was flat out helping Saunders escape.

It was an off-game, it happened to other teams this week too. Tampa lost to New Orleans, Green Bay lost to Jacksonville, Minnesota needed a missed extra point to beat the Lions, the Eagles struggled with Dallas, Pittsburgh almost got beat by the Giants, the Rams got dismantled by a team that lost to San Fran twice... It was a bad game, nothing more. It gives Pittsburgh homefield most likely, but it isn't a season breaker by any means.
