I hate Martz on a personal level. I don't hate Tice, that was perhaps the wrong word, but I feel that is in over his head as a coach. Martz is an arrogant shithead, which I wouldn't mind if he could back it up on the field but he can't. Speaking of coaches I can't stand, Tom Coughlin is high on that list too.

Gary Bettman's idea of appealing to them is to expand (yup!) into Eastern Europe. Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Prague Springers? No! I'd rather see Prague & Stockholm with teams than Tampa and Carolina.

That is exactly the problem. I hear it all the time from my friends who are more of casual fans. They claim they don't like Orton because he seems to be imitating Rock all the time.

Typically you want one tank, one long range character, someone who can build bridges, and a miscellaneous fourth member. Typically I used Wolverine as my tank because he can heal on his own and can absolutely shred guys later on. My second choice is Rogue, equipped with one of the healing items. She has a strength advantage and can fly. Colossus & Beast are too slow and thus take too much damage. I rarely use them. Long range is a choice between Storm & Cyclops. Both have their strengths and can be turned into gods at high levels. Cyclops is stronger, Storm can hit more guys because of Chain Lightning. I generally take Cyclops because his power advantage is helpful against bosses and Sentinels. This is usually the character I choose to play as. Your bridgebuilder can be Jean, Magma or Iceman. At high levels, Iceman can freeze your enemies and is the best of the three easily. Early on, I tend to use Magma who has the strongest attacks and it is a pretty good longrand fighter as well. Jean suffers from all the non-human characters, Juggernaut & Magneto being immune to most of her attacks. The fourth character can be whoever you want. Usually, I take a second tank (to make up for Wolverine's strength weakness) or Nightcrawler. If I want a psychic I stick Jean or Emma Frost here. If you feel like breezing through the game, stick whoever you left behind between Cyclops & Storm here. Gambit, Jubilee, Psylocke and Beast are the worst characters. There is nothing that any of them offer that another character can't do better.

Move them back to Montreal.

The football fan in me hates Mike Tice. The Packer fan in me wants to see him get a 10 year extension. Erickson never should have been hired in the first place. You can't tell me that the Niners didn't know what they were getting.

I'm conservative and I hate guns. Don't forget California, Vermont and DC.

AL Judge Wears 10 Commandments on Robe
Kahran Ramsus replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in Current Events
Judges should be impartial. It drives me insane when they let their political or religious (or lack of) beliefs affect their ability to preside over court. -
No need to continue.

Actually it has. I can't post them, but click on the timeline here and the logos will appear on the left of the screen. The Leafs have always had the Leaf Logo, but they have had four different designs of it. http://www.mapleleafs.com/timeline.ml

Good. I hated Miz.

She wasn't crying because of that. She was crying because of the way Jonathan was treating her.

Not during the sentencing phase. If there is any reasonable doubt at all in your mind, then you are obligated to vote 'not guilty'. Since that didn't happen, his guilt was proved beyond a reasonable doubt. It is not an issue. Giving him life because you think he may not have done it is bullshit. If you think he may not have done it you never should have voted guilty to begin with. The criminal justice system is based on that.

Ignore this reasonable doubt bullshit. He was convicted in the court of law, thus unless something new comes out that out and out clears him, he did it. We have established that. The issue is, given that he is guilty, is the punishment appropriate?

EA signs a 5 year exclusive deal with NFL
Kahran Ramsus replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Video Games
EA has the NFLPA as a part of this deal. -
It is a pretty big deal up here, so I thought it did, but if Al decides to merge them I'll stand by his decision. I don't think there is any way that the season is going to be saved at this point.

Too many posts were crashing the board every Monday.

Slow news week?

My problem isn't with people not saying 'Merry Christmas', my problem is with the PC Police saying I can't.

They should have Benoit win and transfer it to Edge at Mania (save Edge's win for the one-on-one match). So of course HHH & Orton will be the final two and this Wrestlemania will be as forgettable as the one that followed X.

I prefer Madden, but monopolies only screw over the paying customer. -
It was used for Christian/Edge in 2001, but most of 2002 and 2003 (especially RAW brand) is a blur, so it might have made an appearance afterwards. Regarding Cage Matches, I would like it if one brand used the bars and had escape-only rules, and the other the mesh with pinfall/submissions only. It would help differentiate between the brands better, and let fans know what the rules are ahead of time. Half the time it seems that they make up the rules on the spot.

Thats pretty fucked up. Why would anyone want to play for the Blue Jays? Outside of the Alomar years, they've had a strict commitment to failure. They were good for years before Alomar got there. Yea, they were. My comments were a tad irrational, its just the past 10 years of futility has been all over TSN...and continously pondered upon. Don't worry, the last ten years have pissed me off too. Although I must admit that I am happier now than I was when Ash was GM. Every move he made would pretty much be guaranteed to piss me off, aside from signing Clemens.

It is a shame that they judge the BO instead of the performance, but that's the way the Academy has always acted. Since this is a poor year, I think they may finally give in to Scorsese, possibly the most gifted director of his generation.
