Hate the morons who buy this crap. Marvel is just doing what sells.

The only reason I would like to see Delgado go to the Yanks is because my grandfather who is a big Yanks fan absolutely hates Delgado and has been ragging on him for years. Seattle seems pretty much a lock at this point though.

Buffalo. They have been coming on strong since the loss to New England, while the Broncos & Ravens have been struggling. One of the Ravens/Broncos will get in.

You just don't understand Slayer. We acknowledge that the Bears haven't been much of a challenge, but we still hate them in the way dogs hate cats.

What does Santa have to do with celebrating the birth of Jesus anyways? He's purely a secular symbol.

Well, we won't know until February, but my hunch is that he is going to be refused refugee status.

What percentage of the WWE roster do you enjoy..
Kahran Ramsus replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Wrestling
These are the guys I currently like. There are some wrestlers (Matt Hardy, Val Venis, Hurricane, etc.) that I could like, but don't in their current roles. RAW: Shelton Benjamin, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Edge, Batista, HHH, William Regal, Tajiri, Rock, Trish Stratus, Coach SMACKDOWN: JBL, John Cena, Big Show, Booker T, Billy Kidman, Chavo Guerrero, Charlie Haas, Eddy Guerrero, Kurt Angle, Nunzio, Paul Heyman, Rey Rey, Theodore Long, Tazz RESULTS: 28% Apparently I care about more of the Smackdown guys, which is strange since I think RAW is the better booked show right now. My results are misleading. It is probably around the 50% mark once you take away the worthless divas and announcers. -
Holly better get fired after tonight
Kahran Ramsus replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Just another strike against World Wrestling Entertainment calling itself a legitimate "integrated media entity" or whatever buzzword permutation they have going. Like a real company says "yeah that guy screwed up, rough him up a little." It's a step up from the mob. Take it for what it's worth, but on Off The Record last night, Triple H said that Holly was given one last chance to not "do that again". Hunter himself said Holly's actions were "inexcusable". He said he thinks it was a final warning. I get the impression that if Trip was running this company instead of Vince, that Holly would be gone. -
Thank you. Even if he was protesting the war, the way he went about it doesn't accomplish anything.

It has nothing to do with his attitude. Steve Austin beat his wife, and I'd still have him at #2. Also, Bret Hart was every bit the asshole Shawn was, and I would still rank him higher.

That is to be expected when you agree to join the military. I have no sympathy there for him. If you join the army, you have to expect to fight at some point. Remembrance Day is one of our biggest holidays for a reason. World War I was the most important thing in our history that led us to becoming the nation that we are today. Nothing that we have ever done as a nation surpasses Vimy Ridge.

I like Zak's better as far as Ottawa is concerned.

Canada actually has a proud military history, but this thread isn't about that. I would have inifinitely more respect for this man if he turned himself in to American authorities. Yes, he does have a choice not to fight. But the alternative is prison, and he damn well knew this when he signed up. So the choice comes down to prison vs. fighting. He didn't like that choice so he ran. That's what makes him a coward. Things would be different if he was drafted, but with a volunteer military he knew what he was getting into. It is the same thing here. Not only that, but he made the situation worse for himself. Had he turned himself in, they probably would have gone lenient on him. Now if he ends up back in American custody, and he in all likelihood will, he theoretically faces the death penalty. So not only is he cowardly, he's also stupid. He should have bolted to France or something.

Shawn Michaels is/was a good wrestler, most people will not argue that. But he's not one of the top two or three of all time in North America, so yes, he is quite overrated. The real underrated one is Steve Austin. A lot of people are familiar only with the punch, kick & stomp, injured face Austin we got in 1998-99, or the pale shadow of his former self that he was when he retired. He was fantastic for the other 90% of his career. If we are talking about the complete package than even HHH has him beat. HHH has been on top longer, has drawn better, and has had far more influence in the industry than Shawn Michaels ever had. Technically speaking, HBK isn't as good as Benoit, Malenko, Guerrero and several other North American wrestlers. In terms of complete package he isn't as good as Flair, Rock, Austin and several other North American wrestlers. He's overrated. There is no other way to get around it. Especially now, when he is not anywhere near what he used to be.

No wonder Rebecca doesn't want to be with him.

Looks blue to me. Oh, I was talking about the ocean. The lake would be pink because of the sediments in it. Probably a lot of copper or iron.

Jon wants to breed? May God helps us all...

We'd just move on to using the Lions as the BUTT of our jokes, just like we moved to the Vikes when the Bucs left the division. Seriously, we don't care about the Vikes anywhere near how we care about the Bears.

Minnesota has invented the art of choking. Seattle can't even compete with the choke jobs the Vikings have pulled off over the last decade. Last decade? How about the last 35 years?

HAHAHAHAHA. That comment was tremendous. Now now. If they can't average 400 yards a game, its not real to them. You see the Colts play lately? -
WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
Kahran Ramsus replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
What was the deal with Giant & Jericho in August 98? Giant helps Jericho win the TV Title (over fellow NWO member Stevie Ray), and then helps Jericho get a few big wins. Then a few weeks later on Saturday Night, Giant chokeslams Jericho instead and the angle is forgotten the next night. -
That wasn't the biggest complaint, although some people bitched about it. The only match in which anything significant happens is the first one where the Dementors attack Harry and his broom is destroyed. The main problem people have storywise was that they didn't explain the backstory of the Marauders enough (Prongs = James, Padfoot = Black, Wormtail = Pettigrew, Moony = Lupin), and the other three all learned how to turn into animals so that they could be with Lupin during one of his 'episodes'. I already read the book, so I didn't really care if this was in it or not, and I just assumed that it would be mentioned later because it becomes important in Order of the Phoenix when explaining Snape's past. As to the main topic, definitely Alexander. Van Helsing I expected to be a fun Mummy-like film so it disappointed, but Alexander was supposed to be an Oscar contender.

He'll be sent back. Martin is trying to make good with Bush right now.

Alexander! Come on, you know you want to!
