Yep. It was Luca Blight who went down to Magus. I believe he did in Flik's poll too.

You have to get Contra 3. It is by far the best game in the series.

Ralph Fiennes cast in Harry Potter 4
Kahran Ramsus replied to Anakin Flair's topic in Television & Film
As much as I like Walken, I don't really see him in this role. He's much too noticeable on screen. Voldermort has a tendency to lurk around in the shadows much of the time, and is a much more subdued presense than Walken. John Malkovich would be someone who would be more appropriate. I have no problem with Feinnes in the role. I don't see the need to edit the title since Voldemort appears in the first chapter of the book, and this will be all over the place in the legitimate media by the time the movie comes out. You won't be able to avoid it anyways. -
Jeter largely because he managed to get A-Rod moved over to third despite A-Rod being twice the player he is. Moss can back it up when he chooses too, which isn't nearly enough. When the going gets tough, Moss stops going. TO, I just don't like for the whole Ravens/Free Agency fiasco in the winter. If you're too stupid to get your papers in on time, then tough shit. Kobe may think he's the best, but he was even the best player on his own team (Shaq), and there are other players that I would rather have than him (Duncan, Garnett). Kobe is the current era's Scottie Pippen, and now that Shaq is gone, he will likely be exposed. LA gave up everything for Kobe, and I just don't think he's worth it.

I thought they had enough of him last year.

With the exception of the MNF game, Green Bay @ Carolina. So we get a rematch of the AFC Championship Game to start the week off and what should have been the NFC Championship Game to end it.

You're right in that it isn't just the US that does this, look at hockey in the Winter Olympics. There should be no professionals, period, for any country.

The Undertaker: 5 months later
Kahran Ramsus replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
Taker was pretty good in 2002 too once he got past that Austin, Hogan & HHH bullshit in the spring. The match where he lost the title was arguably the best PPV main event of the year. -
I understood this as being WWF only, thus no Vader. Vader was probably in the Top Ten overall wrestlers of the 90s, let alone hosses.

False, at least as far as the movies are concerned. There are references for Sean Connery (DAF), Roger Moore (TSWLM, FYEO) & Timothy Dalton (LTK) as having been married in OHMSS. In DAD, Pierce Brosnan identifies several gadgets that he had previously used in the early part of the franchise. They are clearly supposed to be the same guy in the films.

I am completely against this as well and I hate the Yankees. The whole idea is absurd.

Bossman & Bigelow were the best wrestlers, but my personal favourite was Earthquake. He was quite entertaining back in the day.

Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Jarrett at the second In Your House. Probably the second best match Shawn has ever had (after WM X, and considering how much the lame ending to Mind Games pisses me off), and far and away the best match Jarrett has ever had. WWF MOTY for 1995, no question. Much better than the spotty Razor/Shawn II from Summerslam.

Agreed. Anyways, Street Fighter 3. We waited for years after endless re-releases of the second game, and the final product was pretty blah. Certainly not the revolutionary fighting game it was hyped to be. For me personally, Legend of Mana (PS1) ranks way up there. I loved the Secret of Mana series, but this was just terrible. I'm glad I just rented it instead of buying it.

I orginally thought it was just an excuse, but it really appears to have gone beyond that now. If there is a real parasite going around then Kevin Brown getting it would make sense since he's as brittle as Mr. Burns.

This is Your Life is the highest rated segment opposed by Nitro, therefore it is felt that its rating means more than the ones that beat it unopposed (like Taker/Austin).

You heard it here first, Duffman & Disco Stu get married.

It is so easy to laugh at the Vikings organization that it almost takes all the fun out of it...almost.

If they don't blow it, and that's a big if, the Ten Commandments remake has a good shot. The 50s remake did outgross Titanic if adjusted for inflation.

Return of the King is the second highest grossing movie of all time and only the second to gross over a $1 billion worldwide. Two Towers also beat Fellowship. The record will fall in the next ten years. Obviously I can't say by what since they haven't been filmed yet. It definitely won't be a superhero or big action movie like Spider-Man or Batman. It would have to be something that appeals more to a wide audience and gets a lot of repeat business, like the Shrek films and like someone mentioned, it probably will be released in the winter where there is absolutely no competition for it. If Passion of the Christ had managed a PG-13 in the US, I think it would have done it domestically. Either that or when they re-release Return of the King in 20 years.

He was either a troll or violates our stupidity laws. Plus, he came right out and asked for it and was taunting the mods.

It won't work in any society. The fundamental flaw of Communism is human nature. There is only two reasons anybody does anything. Either because they get something for doing it (money, fame, power, etc, it could be anything) or they are given a reason to avoid the alternative. Because Communism was build upon the idea that everybody is born equal, is equal, and will end up equal in terms of things like ownership and so on, they have to rely on the latter to get anything done. That only goes on for so long before the people get fed up, rebel, and the whole system collapses. I don't know about you, but I would much rather live in a society where I can strive towards something rather than be forced to do a job because I am being prodded with a rifle. Don't have either, and I won't do anything at all, which is good for me, but bad for the progression of civilization.

Okay.

You may have a point there, but it still doesn't change the fact that it is true. Put them in costumes and we don't even get X2 after the first film is laughed off the screen like Catwoman.
