I'm really excited for tonight. This is by far my favourite reality show.

1. Eddy's matches with Bradshaw were just as good as Diesel's match with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania XI. The only good Diesel matches from the period were against Bret Hart @ Royal Rumble and Bret Hart @ Survivor Series. Eddy/Brock & Eddy/Angle were comparable with both. Quality-wise, Eddy was a better champion. 2. Eddy Guerrero isn't headlining shows featuring 150 people in a high school gym the way Diesel did. WWE is still making a profit. Diesel's run almost put them out of business.

I think the inspiration is from the fishing term. Trolling is posting complete crap only for the purpose of baiting the posters into starting a flamewar. Some trolls are easier to spot than others. A troll's sole purpose is to disrupt the board. They are not interested in discussion.

I didn't see White Chicks, but it certainly looked like the worst movie of the year in previews. Even Crapwoman looks better. Kill Bill was my favourite film of the year too. That I agree on.

HHH is smart enough not to run it into bankruptcy as long as he has a say, and of course, so is Vince. However, if Vince dies and HHH goes Hollywood or gets divorced, I don't trust the kiddies at all, especially Stephanie. Anyways, since Vince isn't even 60 yet, it is a long ways off.

I don't buy this theory. The really great teams like Ventura/Monsoon were just as good for Hercules/Warrior as they were for Savage/Steamboat.

Halladay & Batista have both pitched better than Lilly. Me thinks Torre is showing some favourtism towards the former Yanks.

I saw this on Saturday. It was much better than the first movie. PROS: Better fights/CGI: This was my biggest complaint about the first one. For a big action picture the effects and fight scenes were really crappy. This one is greatly improved. A better villain: The Green Goblin never did anything except kill a few guys who were jerks to begin with. He didn't even show up until halfway through the movie after they did the origin sequence. Plus, he looked like a lame Power Ranger villain. Ock is the most visually exciting character in the comics, something that translated quite well to the screen. He killed people for no real reason. He was simply a bigger threat than the Goblin. Finally, to top it all off, Molina gives a better performance than Dafoe. Dafoe isn't bad, but at times his performance is too unnatural. There wasn't a second that I didn't believe in Molina's performance. It was the best of the movie. More Jameson: The best character in the first movie is neck and neck with Ock as the best character in the sequel. This time he has a whole lot more to do though. He only got three scenes in the first. BAD: I only had one real problem with the film, and it was that at times when something important was going on, they tried to get laughs out of it and it took me out of the film (like the Butch & Sundance tribute). The comedy in this was a lot more forced than in the classic action films like Raiders of the Lost Ark. I couldn't disagree more. Ock was the one who forced Harry to take the deal, not the other way around.

Big Show was already mentioned, but I agree fully that he is underrated here. A-Train is also underrated. He doesn't have near the charisma of Big Show, but he has a good moveset and can work good matches when given a chance against the right person (ie. not someone who's style clashes with his, like Edge). He's not over because he bounces up and down the card faster than anybody in the company. They attempt to push him constantly, then abort it after a week or so. I don't recall him ever getting a PPV win during one of his pushes, before he goes back to Velocity again. He is easily the more talented member of the old T&A tag team. Jamie Noble is the most underrated of the cruisers. He can outwrestle all of them save for Rey Rey and maybe Chavo, and he has better mic skills and more charisma than any other cruiser in the company. Nunzio is underrated too, but his talent level isn't as high as Noble's is.

Yoko sucked, but he was over enough that he wasn't a terrible champion. Especially after they got Cornette to speak for him.

It has the 6-Day Gross too, and it beat it in 5 days.

Doc Ock probably killed a large number of them.

By the IWC, Who is is the most Overrated Wrestler
Kahran Ramsus replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Austin was also seriously injured and was wrestling slugs like Taker & Kane for over a year from 1998-1999. Watch his pre-injury and 2001 work. Austin can be a fantastic wrestler when healthy. -
Too be honest, I completely forgot about Mel Gibson. He is definitely up there.

BTW, I forgot to mention earlier, but Conservative Bev Oda did defeat Liberal Tim Lang (son of the former Trudeau cabinet minister) in my riding of Clarington-Scugog-Uxbridge. Our MPP, John O'Toole, who was critical of the Eves administration, has thrown his support behind John Tory in the Ontario PC leadership race. I would not be surprised to see him get a cabinet position in 4 years.

Russell Crowe. He even has the old Brando personality to help him out.

From my experience, usually between an hour and a half hour before the show. You'll probably want to try after the show as well, sometimes they aren't too willing to interact with the audience much until afterwards.

No. It would be much worse with proportional representation. As much as I complain about Toronto voters, largely because they are incredibly stupid overall, the Conservatives powerbase in the West is just as large as the Liberal powerbase in Ontario. If you look at the results of this last election, the difference between the 135 seats the Liberals got and the 99 seats the Conservatives got can be found mostly in the inability of the Conservatives to make any kind of an inroads into Quebec or Atlantic Canada. You can't go too far in the other direction either, giving each province/territory one seat. The odd thing about Ontario is that they traditionally vote Conservative in the provincial elections and Liberal in the federal. McGuinty's win was an exception. It was actually the first time since 1943 that the Liberals defeated a sitting Tory government since 1934, in the middle of the Depression. From 1943-1985, the Tories controlled Ontario completely. And they also had a strong majority from 1995-2003 as well. The US has a similar problem. Look at the map from the last election. It is almost entirely red, yet Gore almost won the election even though Bush won twice as many states. There isn't a whole lot that can be done about it unfortunately. There is no perfect system, just one that has fewer problems than the others.
-
Even here where the Liberals have dominated for 11 years, they never do better than 40-44% of the vote.
-
Tajiri is also very charismatic for a Japanese wrestler in America. Alot moreso than somebody like Ultimo Dragon.

That's irrelevant, as candidates do not run to win the popular vote. They run to win the electoral college --- which is done to make sure that the machines that have populated big cities would be able to completely screw over national elections by hyper-inflating vote totals in their little fiefdoms. -=Mike Which is why i said the system should be changed. Back when this was a hot topic issue, that was a serious proposal. WHY do we need an electorial college now that every vote can be counted? The system is outdated. Without the electoral college or a riding system similar to what we have in Canada, it puts way too much power in the hands of a small amount of area. Candidates can then only campaign in New York & California (or Toronto in Canada) and win the election while ignoring the rest of the country. There needs to be more of an equal voice throughout the entire country. For a democracy to work, all the different demographics need to be heard. In the case of going by the popular vote, you end up with a 'tyranny of the majority' situation.

I have nothing against Mordecai. He isn't the greatest wrestler in the world, but I like his gimmick and he's good enough for a midcard slot. If he improves, then let him against guys like Taker. Suzuki isn't good enough to deserve a spot on the roster, even as a jobber. I like the gimmick, but unlike Mordecai, the wrestler himself can be interchanged with any Japanese wrestler. Give Tajiri that gimmick and it'll go over great. Mordecai isn't exactly great in the ring, but Suzuki is only one step above Nathan Jones, and that's only because I like his finisher.

Adam Sandler's one-note act got tired years ago.

Kurt Angle is better known than Stephanie LeVesque.

The worst wrestler to be World Champion was Vince McMahon, but Diesel was the worst champion overall just because his reign was so long and damaging. It almost put the WWF out of business. Vince's reign had no long lasting impact, and unless JBL keeps it for months on end, neither will his. Diesel's run is also notable because both Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels, and possibly even Lex Luger were better and more popular options to begin with.
