1) The standard is 10 teams. You can certainly get away with 12 though. Less than 10 and you lose a lot of the strategy involved because every team can get great players. More than 12 and the talent pool becomes too thin. 2) 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 DEF, 1 K 3) This can get complicated. I suggest checking out magazines for various scoring systems. One thing I do recommend though is punishing players for turnovers (-2 pts per interception or lost fumble). There are basically three options on Smackdown (that don't suck). Turn one of Eddy or Cena heel and build to a big match at Wrestlemania. Ideally, they will fight at Mania being easily the two most over guys on the show. This pretty much has to be the long term plan if the company is caring about Smackdown at all. The issue is what to in between time. 1) Let Eddy keep the title. This could be boring, but might be the best route to go if Eddy is the one to turn heel. Rey Misterio could make a potential face challenger to him to get him over as a heel, and then move him on to Cena. If Cena is to turn heel, the other two options are probably better in that they would offer a bit of a change of pace before the Cena feud starts. 2) Use Booker T as the traditional fall champion as a change of pace. He's close to a Smackdown main event level now. He just needs a couple of big wins before taking the title around Summerslam. Leave him the gimmick where he would rather be on RAW. It worked for Shawn Michaels in 1997, when he had the gimmick where he would rather be on Nitro. 3) Build up Charlie Haas as a credible threat. Turn him on Rico soon, obliterate him in their feud, and then move him onto Eddy. He would then be used throughout the fall. However, I don't think he's ready. He clearly has a longer ways to go than Shelton Benjamin does, but if they are reluctant to push Booker he would make the best option. Undertaker is like Shawn Michaels, Rock & Ric Flair in that he is basically a special attraction these days, and while I like JBL as a heel, he simply isn't viewed as being good enough in the ring.

Because not all the teams are in terrible shape, only most of them. All the top teams, like the Leafs or Red Wings, will snap up all the talent. Fan interest in the other teams will get even worse, thus meaning that they have to lower salaries even more, and the cycle continues until those teams no longer exist and we are left with a four team league. If the owners were united (which they aren't), then your plan would work. The owners are too greedy, the players take what they can get, the fans get screwed, and the league goes bankrupt because they are paying more than they are making. The fans are more important than either the owners or the players and it is something that both sides need to remember. Without them going to the games, there is no money coming in. And unfortunately a salary-cap is needed to keep stars on particular teams. The NFL is by far the most successful league for a reason. Players move around a lot, but rarely the top stars unless they wear out their welcome (Terrell Owens). If it was run like MLB, Peyton Manning & Randy Moss would be on the Redskins by now.

Los Angelas is pretty bad. They had two NFL teams that they couldn't hold onto and just look at the Clippers. San Diego is probably even worse. They couldn't hold onto their basketball team, the Padres are one of the worst franchises (generally speaking) in MLB and the Chargers are on the verge of leaving town.

Screw that, get it for the whole movie. Even though the final scene is the best part of the movie. That rocked. I liked the diner scene better to be honest. The tension there is just unbelievable.

Shawn Michaels is a legend, probably equal to Bret Hart, but certainly not like Flair or Hogan. That doesn't mean he should be the top guy anymore. Flair or Hogan shouldn't be pushed either. Michaels obviously has more left in the tank than them, but the fact is that people just aren't responding to him the way that WWE would like them to be. Certainly not as much as Eddy Guerrero or Chris Benoit or even Eugene or John Cena or RVD.

Hi, guys! I will follow these big tournaments, but I don't follow overseas football most of the time. Over here the American tournaments are the top priority. So I have a question...what happened to Ireland so that they didn't qualify here? They did pretty well at the World Cup two years ago. Most of my background is Irish and with Canada a non-entity in football, I cheer for them. I guess now I will have to root for England or Denmark.

Different athletes have different attitudes. Brett Favre goes out there every day and tries his hardest no matter how much he is being paid. Randy Moss halfasses it. College is a training program. Just as you go to college to get educated about a particular field, athletes go to be trained for the pros. There are other options (minor leagues), but with a very rare exception, athletes simply aren't ready fresh out of high school. College (or another pro league) is a necessary part of development.
