Val Venis. The pornstar gimmick has killed his career. More than once actually.
-
No. That would be the Secret of Mana series. Lots of fighting, little story.

http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/stor...6///?hub=Canada I know alot of you don't like polls, but a dive this big is not good news for the Government. Ontario is going to decide this race, and with Premier Dalton McGuinty rapidly becoming about as popular as Gray Davis in California and now infighting amongst the Premier and Prime Minister, this is disasterous for the Liberals.

"Idol" most watched prime-time series of the 2003-
Kahran Ramsus replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
That is one of the rare exceptions. -
He might not be, but there are a hell of a lot more Clarretts in the world. It would open a floodgate that couldn't be closed again. Williams waiting another year is a small price to pay to prevent the problems that would result elsewhere.

"Idol" most watched prime-time series of the 2003-
Kahran Ramsus replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
I am extremely competitive and will watch any reality show that interests me. I will also watch sports, game shows, wrestling, and anything else along those lines. Hell, if I'm desperate enough I'll even watch YuGiOh. With rare exceptions, scripted TV series simply can't compete with film. They have lower budgets, worse writing and bad acting. I'd just as soon go to the theatre or put on a DVD. 24 does interest me though. -
Not completely because I did like Brutus Beefcake, but yeah I was a huge Mr. Perfect fan back then. I also liked Dibiase, Savage (even when he was a face he was nuts) & "Trust Me" Jake. Wrestlemania Challenge was the other game I played a ton from that period. I would always pick Beefcake, Rude & yourself in that one. In Royal Rumble I would always pick Perfect, Flair, Dibiase & Michaels. In RAW I would pick Owen Hart.

He's from Toronto. Of Course he's retarded. Look at Test. Another Torontoian lacking in brains. Neither of them are from Toronto. Edge is from Orangeville, Test from Whitby. I can only go by where they are announced from...speaking of Test, when he returns to RAW, will the show suck again? I can understand that. I'm not mocking you, just correcting you. I grew up not far from where Test did, and I'm definitely not Torontonian.

Wasn't that his old finisher? He used it alot on Smackdown.
-
Yes. Especially Jacques. Remember, that was the same guy that they had Hogan put over clean in Quebec.

I knew the titles would change when I saw them come out. I'm just glad it wasn't Benoit who did the job. He's too important for that. Edge lost his push to Benjamin, no problem jobbing him.

I like our's better, but it is nice that you are finally recognizing them. Do you have a World War I memorial yet? Or do you need one of those too? In Canada, it is the First World War that gets greater remembrance.

They can barely even handle giraffes. Only if they catch them off-guard (like while drinking) or they get the young/old/sick animals.

I am scared to death of hornets. I had a bad experience with them when I was 6. The most annoying are black flies, deer flies, and mosquitos. Loons are pretty loud and annoying too.
-
BTW, how can you do a wrestlers taunt? The computer does it all the time, but I never could.
-
No, but it should have been. How about Shawn/Bret from Survivor Series 1992 then? Flair & Razor/Savage & Perfect was the more hyped match going in. Anyway, my point is that you put on the main event that will most likely get them to watch the next show, be it a dream matchup (Warrior/Hogan), a MOTYC (Bulldog/Bret) or a suspenseful cliffhanger (Hogan goes NWO). Try not to be locked into only having the World Title match last.

Best WWE match to take place in Canada?
Kahran Ramsus replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Wrestling
Yeah, what has been said above. There are two matches that are way above the rest. The Calgary Stampede Ten Man and Austin/Benoit from Smackdown in June 2001. -
If this was last year, it should be Kane/Benoit. But Kane is nowhere near enough of a credible threat these days for it to be the main. It has to be HIAC. Had it been Benoit/Jericho, I would have gone the other way. Jericho isn't any more of a threat than Kane, but they could promote it as simply being a MOTYC. Sort of like the ladder match at Summerslam 95 where Razor didn't have a chance in hell, but people were interested in it because of the classic match vibe coming from it before it was even performed.

This looks much better than Judgment Day on paper, but still not good enough for me to order. I will admit that I am interested in the US Title and Tag Title matches.
-
I would play as Perfect & Dibiase in tag team mode (with Roberts subbing in occasionally for one of them) and Earthquake in Royal Rumble. I love using the Earthquake Splash in that game. He even jumps around the ring before he does it.

As much as it shames me to admit it, I've never seen the original Nosferatu. I haven't seen many of the old Universal monster flicks either. Only Dracula, Frankenstein and the Mummy remake starring Christopher Lee.

The Romans had little lasting impact in Britain. The Anglo-Saxon and Danish invasions were far more important.

Because generally speaking, they aren't. They get drafted early for their future potential, then shoved out on the courts early for marketing reasons and the quality of games suffered. Usually it takes 2 to 3 years for them to be playing at the level where they should be. Lebron is an exception because he could actually play out of gates. Most aren't like that. And in the NFL, especially where you have guys like Ray Lewis just waiting to beat up on somebody like Clarett, it is a terrible idea. It isn't just limited to HS players either. There is no way Eli Manning should be starting right away either. Too many people get playing time because of who they are, rather than how good they are at this particular time. Play them when they are ready to play. Not before. Teams are too stupid to manage themselves, because with a few exceptions they care more about selling tickets than winning.
