1. Are the Cowboys a bunch of dumbasses trading for Roy Williams? Trading for Roy Williams was a good move. Giving up the farm to get him was not. 1a. Are the Cowboys a bunch of dumbasses for signing Pac Man Jones? Not really. There wasn't really a lot of risk on the Cowboys part even if Pacman screwed up. 1b. Are the Cowboys completely fucked, with Romo out for a month, and a possibly rough stretch on their schedule? I actually think it would be a better idea to sit him down. There is enough talent here to be able to win without him right now even with their tough schedule after the Rams this week, but come playoffs they need him 100%. 2. Which team(s) will Detroit beat this year? Looks pretty ugly for them. They have a shot against Houston this week and the two home games against the Vikings & Saints. Other than that, there isn't much. I say they beat the Vikings being a divisional matchup at home against a team not nearly as good as their record. 3. Will the 49ers finish above .500 this season? Nope, although they will still get second in the NFC West. 4. Who is more disappointing: Ryan Grant or Joseph Addai? Will either man step up big this week, head to head? Addai. He was supposed to be the #2 RB in the AFC and isn't anywhere close to it right now. The expectations for Grant weren't nearly as great as for Addai. 5. This week, will we see the Browns that got thumped by Dallas, or the Browns that whipped the Giants? Washington is coming off an embarrassment last week. They would stomp just about anybody they were up against this week and certainly a mediocre team like Cleveland. However, the condition of Portis is a little scary. If he can't go then this is a completely different game than it would be otherwise. Alexander is done.

Good riddance.

Considering Cheadle's talent, I definitely approve of this move. Just stick him and Downey in front of a blue screen chatting for two hours and I'm there.

That's what they get for letting the fans decide the team name the same summer Jurassic Park came out.

Paul Beeston is back with Toronto. Now all we need is Gillick and I can pretend the last 15 years never happened.

And the answer is apparently not very well.

The Buffalo Bills is pretty sad. Apparently they are named after a Barbershop Quartet from the 50s. No wonder they choose to use a bison as the logo.

Classic trap game for the Giants tonight. I will be interesting to see how they respond.

The correct call is stopping the clock and charging a timeout against the Cardinals.

I knew there was no chance the Saints would let the Raiders beat them at home after what happened on Monday.

Not having Bobby Petrino helps too.

Minnesota is the luckiest crappy team in the league.

This might not be over yet.

Damn. Green Bay really needed Chicago to lose.

Usually it is a case of fans of one of the big market teams being upset that they got beat so I don't pay much attention to it. I drown it out like I do the media bitching whenever the Super Bowl isn't in Miami.

My final director has had made many classics over a variety of different genres. Anthony Mann I'll also take another legendary actor and basically the king of Film Noir, although certainly not limited to it. Robert Mitchum

Favre hasn't been that great aside from one game and he's yet to reach the 1000 yard mark. Romo would probably be my second choice. I deliberately avoided mentioning him though, as the reasoning for Brees over him isn't very clear. He's kind of like 1A right now. The biggest difference between Brees & Romo is that Romo has a much better supporting cast. Eli would be in the Rivers, Rodgers, Cutler group.

1. Who is the best QB in the league up to this point? Drew Brees. He's leading the league in yardage again with 1673, and although he had a poor game on Monday his past history puts him above the other current top QBs (Cutler, Rivers, Rodgers, etc.) for which I don't feel we have enough of a sample of to judge fully. It makes sense. Brees was the #3 QB in the league behind Brady & Manning, and the other two are out of the running. Even more impressive, he's done it without his top receiver. 2. What the fuck happened to San Diego's running game? Nothing. LT always stinks for the first month. Even in his record setting year he had a slow start before exploding like a supernova. 3. Indianapolis is dead last in the league in rushing and dead last against the run. Baltimore is 4th in the league in rushing and FIRST against the run. Do the Colts need to get lucky again? Yes. Honestly, I think they got lucky during their Super Bowl year. They were weak going into the playoffs and got a bunch of soft opponents aside from the New England game. I don't have them in the playoffs this year. Both Tennessee & Jacksonville have surpassed them. Baltimore is better than their record. 4. How long does Rod Marinelli keep his job? This year is a write-off. They will start over next year. He'll be a casualty the day after the season ends. 5. Tennessee has two players with 4 INTs this year, and another with 3. By far the most in the league. Can this defense carry them into the playoffs and win there? Absolutely. Jacksonville got into the second round last year and Tennessee is better than they were, plus the conference is much weaker. They can realistically beat any team in the AFC.

I liked the Narcissist too.

There needs to be a correction on the first page. Shaw's an actor, not a director.

I would expect Edwards to be back after the bye. It didn't look 'that' serious.

Well, I'm a little biased seeing as how I'm the Grand Champion and all, but I'm definitely going to have to disagree with you. Seriously though. VX and Gert T are my two favourite teams besides my own.

I 100% agree with you, but watching CBS and all they talked about was how Rodgers blew it complete with 'We Want Brett' chants from Shannon Sharpe. Not that they didn't blame Favre for every loss (his fault or no) the last couple of years as well. Rodgers had 313 yards and 3 TDs with a bum shoulder. He was the one of the only reasons the Packers were even in the game.
