I was going to say that nobody cares, but then I remembered that many Americans are still stuck in the 18th Century.

The MLB All-Star Game is by far the best (and probably the only one I would consider good). And I have no problems with taking the starters out early. I am more interested in seeing everyone play. The Pro Bowl is the worst because it takes place the week after the Super Bowl and by that point both the fans and players don't care anymore.

Yup HBK sure did use the Samoen backdrop as a finisher, right before he started using the superkick. I remember this because when I played the game Royal Rumble on the Genesis, I used that move all the time. Helped me get an easy win. Hmmm...he uses the Teardrop Suplex on Royal Rumble & RAW on the SNES.

Suikoden I-III (especially III) really sounds like what you are looking for. Others you should try, include Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy Origins (I & II), Final Fantasy Anthology (V & VI), Xenosaga & Xenogears. Those tend to be the most customizable of the Final Fantasy-type turn-based RPGs. Chrono Cross is not really random battles in that you do see your enemies on screen ala Chrono Trigger, but it is a definite turn-based RPG. It gives you a lot more freedom and the battle system is much better than that of CT. The Suikoden series are traditional RPGs, with the big difference being 6 guys in your party and a large cast of playable characters (108+ in each game). II is my favourite, but III sounds exactly like the game you are describing. The Xenogears/Xenosaga series is worth looking into too, but I would check Suikoden out first. Of the Final Fantasy games, the ones that are most like you describe are I, II, V, VI, IX & X. I & II are included in Final Fantasy Origins for the PS1, and V & VI are in Final Fantasy Anthology. You can also get IV & Chrono Trigger in Final Fantasy Chronicles. Although it isn't a true RPG, I would check out Final Fantasy Tactics as well. It is a mesh of RPG/Strategy, but it will run pretty cheap and it might be worth checking out.

I'm conservative and I don't want to be American. I'm just more sympathetic to them than I am towards the Europeans, and even if I wasn't it would make economic sense to be regardless. I don't think we should have gone into Iraq, but at the same time calling comparing the Americans to Nazis are just going to piss them off and hurt us. BTW, I don't actually expect the government to give them refugee status.

Uhh...we have an election coming up this year and we are hoping to finally oust the Liberals? That's about the best I can do.

He used that? I remember his flying fist drop, his Teardrop Suplex, and his piledriver, but I don't remember that one. He has had a history of crappy finishers though so its not too surprising.

1.) Favorite of the Series (Games, not movies) Super Return of the Jedi - The most varied gameplay and the most characters. You also get big fights with Jabba, Vader & the Emperor. The most fun to play. 2.) Favorite Scenes to play in/as. The ESB Vader fight. Although my favourite character to play as is Han Solo. 3.) Hardest Boss Fight. Vader in ESB.

From a historical point of view, the earlier books (notably Genesis & Exodus) are treated similar to that of the Greek myths and so on. Ie. Something happened that served as a basis for the myth and then the Hebrews took over from there. There is no proof of the Garden of Eden, but there certainly was massive flooding 5000 years ago during the hypsithermal (the warmest point of the Holocene, the epoch we currently live in and roughly the mid-point of the interglacial). We know this from geologic records. Was it worldwide? No, of course not. There isn't enough water on the planet. The Great Flood isn't only mentioned in the Bible, pretty much all Middle Eastern cultures (and the Egyptians) have flood myths from this time as well. The Exodus is being studied now, and although the timeframe is argued quite a bit (the most accepted is during the reign of Ramses II) most historians agree that it did occur, just in a different way that is portrayed in the Bible. The later stuff, such as Kings, is considered to be more accurate, and when we say about the Bible as a historical document, that is usually the part we are referring too. Much of what happens in the Bible, like the Babylonian Captivity, can be verified from other sources.

Twins can never hit Lilly, and Radke's a piece of crap. They can't hit Batista either apparently.

We've been saying that for weeks.

When I first saw the Big Cat's name listed in this headline, I was worried that he had died. Thank God it was better news than that.

Well, I said if. A lot of christians do think he knows everything. I can't remember if it said in the bible or not. Paul might have mentioned something in one of his letters to the Corinthians. I don't know. He wouldn't know for sure anyways. I doubt there is anything concrete, because like I said, it is a major dividing point among Christians.
-
He doesn't MAKE us choose, but if he knows everything, then he already knows the outcome. As such, we wouldn't have a choice, because the outcome was determined before we had a choice to make. There would just be an illusion of free-will. He doesn't know everything. He knows everything that has happened, everything that is happening, but not everything that will happen, at least according to most Christian religions. There certainly are denominations out there that believe in the opposite and this issue was a big cause for some of the schisms in Chuch history. Try to understand that Christianity is not unified, and this is one of the big issues that seperate the different denominations.
-
Well, that's not really asking for forgiveness, is it? You can't receive forgiveness unless you are sorry for what you did.
-
You are confusing omnipotence with omniscience. They are not the same thing. Not all Christian sects do believe (in fact, most don't) that God does know what each individual is going to do. We do have choice. Try to think of Him more as a judge who has all the evidence, rather than an oracle, with regards to this.
-
Nope. You always have the choice to NOT do what you were going to do. God gives you the voice that tells you what you should or should not do. It's up to you to follow it. God cannot MAKE you do the right thing. This is what I believe as well. Soddom & Gomorrah. Lot wasn't a sinner, hence he was allowed to survive.
-
You are talking about predestination. It is not something that every denomination believes in, and I think the Catholic Church is one of them. I don't know for sure though. So you don't end up on the losing side.

Right, it is just a kick to the head. I have no problem with it being used as a transition move, but as a finisher, especially with the number of people who have used it over the years, it is very weak. This goes for the Big Boot (ala Test) as well. I want something that is more impressive than a kick to the head, like the Pedigree.
