I think a lot of you are overestimating the impact of the prequels. Most people in the mainstream either ridicule them by themselves or ignore them completely. The two trilogies are treated as seperate entities by most people. The originals are still though of as 'cool', as you will probably see when they come out on DVD. The prequels are not.

Is there a point to this thread? I'm tempted to move it.

What he needs a better defense. The Packers lost several times last year (including in the divisional playoffs) because they couldn't hold off their opponents in the 4th Quarter when they had the lead. Often this would be under two minutes with Favre sitting on the sideline. The offense was fine. Favre got hurt, and didn't have great numbers during the middle of the year, but Green did his share and Favre really turned it on by the end. The offense is not Green Bay's problem.

Anybody that uses the Superkick. Terrible finisher, from Chris Adams to Chuck Palumbo.

Black Adder. Nothing like killing off your entire cast in the last 10 seconds.

Harrison Ford could kick Shatner's ass. I'll take the one with Alec Guiness in it.

Stay tuned until the Quarter-Finals for my rant on why Jowy Blight should have won.

Lilly pitches a 2-hit complete game for the third win in a row.

That is, without question, the stupidest trade rumor I have ever heard in my life. Oakland would trade a pitcher not due for free agency until 2005, for a first baseman making $15 Million a season, on the wrong side of 30? Never mind that Beane prefers players leave by free agency anyway because he prefers the draft picks. And never mind that ace pitchers are harder to find than first baseman who can hit but barely play defense. I mean, who the hell comes up with this shit? I thought the same thing when I read it. Who in their right mind would make that deal? I wouldn't do it in my fantasy league (I do have Hudson). Greg Myers went down to what looks like an ankle injury rounding third in the 8th and had to be wheeled out. Lilly is cruising though the end of 8. 6-1 Jays over Twins.

It isn't a big issue if you take care of it. About DVDs, I never have them outside of the case unless it is in the player. In the case, you don't have to be that careful with them. I just avoid damp areas or places that would be left out in direct sunlight. I'm not sure whether I need to, but it is just common sense for most equipment.

I agree completely.

You could make a better case for a half dozen actors, hell even Pierce Brosnan who's had four huge grossers over the last nine years. Four huge grossers? Goldeneye - $106 million gross, $80 million budget. Tomorrow Never Dies - $125 million gross, $110 million budget. The World Is Not Enough - $126 million gross, $135 million budget. Die Another Day - $161 million gross, $142 million budget. Die Another Day is the only movie I would call close to huge. A huge gross is atleast a $200 million gross. But he is the most sucsessful Bond. Not really. In terms of actual gross he is, but for the time the Connery Bonds, especially Goldfinger ($399,789,000 in today's funds) & Thunderball ($451,044,000) were more successful.

Yeah, but don't forget that Jenna was hated, but she won (handilly) because she played the game more than Matt. She had a lot of allies on that jury too, and was playing against somebody who was not all that well liked. Christy was really the one exception that voted as you said. It was a different situation.

After what he did to Montreal, I will never trust the man again. That he's even thinking about it is enough for me.

I despise Loria.

Kill Bill Vol. 2 - 9/10. Great character movie, especially Budd & Bill. The time just flew right bye. I would probably bump it up to a 10, but I haven't seen Vol. 1, so I think I am missing something. I hope the Academy remembers David Carradine come Oscar time because that was a fantastic performance. Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World - 10/10. The easy choice for Best Picture last year if the LOTR finale hadn't come out. Another well-acted character story, which is probably the most realistic take on the Age of Sail ever produced. Beautiful to look at and listen to, its Oscars for Cinematography and Sound Editing are well deserved. Haven't gotten into the extras too much yet, just the trailers and deleted scenes. No commentary track, but there is a lot of stuff on here regardless.

Sucking aside, had everyone not already hated Buff, I don't think he would have been fired immediately. It wasn't so much that he had a lack of talent either. It was more lack of effort in a match/angle that was supposed to jumpstart the biggest angle in history.

Wierd. I have never had that happen.

When its warmer generally you are used to seeing more skin than when it is colder. Bikinis instead of parkas. Therefore, it shouldn't be as 'strange' and thus not bother them as much.

So? That's probably why he was banned the first time then. (and the PBP poster thing is a stupid rule, by the way) And most smarks are stupid, don't blame me for calling them on it. Dry those tears. If we allow PBPs back we lose all credibility. You can't ban someone, just to allow them back. Banned means banned, period.

This really is the unhittable force meeting the unmovable bats next series, huh? Yep. But the A's have better pitching.

Actually, Lavos came from space originally, crashed into and burrowed deep into the earth. The rest you pretty much have the gist of. Oh, I knew that. I just left it out. Did they ever explain why he came? I feel like playing Chrono Cross. ....Someone shoot me. I don't think so. And she just reawakened him prematurely. He was destroying the planet regardless. Magus tried the same thing, for different reasons. Chrono Trigger's story was hardly the most complex out there, even for the era it came out.

It could be worse. I got a CB that was projected as a 4th rounder in the first round, a DT with an attitude problem, and a punter.
