And a quick pick for Cassell as well.

I didn't have to win on a last second field goal for once.
-
Green Bay is going to end up losing by that field goal that they lost due to that idiotic holding penalty. And the media will of course blame Rodgers.
-
I thought for sure he was out, but the replay shows he has it.

I think Schaub doesn't have to worry about his job security too much.

It is hard for me to say that Luger really should have won the title at Summerslam 1993. From his perspective he should have, but I ended up enjoying what happened with Bret Hart in 1994 far more than I would have American Hero Luger taking on guys like Borga, Yoko & Crush all year. Times had changed and that's what ultimately doomed the push and was the reason why fans got behind Bret Hart during the buildup to Wrestlemania X. Where they really failed Luger was at Summerslam 1994. Had he sided with Dibiase instead of Tatanka it would have gotten him back as a heel and gotten him fresh again for a run against Bret Hart. Instead he gets buried in a lame duck tag team and ends up on Nitro while Diesel gets a world title push and nearly tanks the company.

A defence can only have so many hospital visits before it starts taking its toll and we are seeing that now with Green Bay. That and no running game.

Come on Bengals!

I think that would be a good matchup for Tzar. I can't see a gimmicky Run & Shoot style offence being able to accomplish much against Tzar's stellar defence. This will end up being a low scoring slugfest, and Tzar's team is built exactly for that style a game.

I seem to remember that now. Once I got Payton, I knew my best strategy would be to produce a dominant running game to grind out the clock. The best way to beat high powered offenses is to make sure they are sitting on the sidelines all day. Play to your strengths. I also tried to avoid any glaring weakness. I would have gone in a completely different direction had I gotten Rice.

My first pick is a real man's director. He once was nearly killed in a helicopter crash and was back on the job 30 minutes later. That's dedication! Terence Young My second pick is a guy I've been thinking about for a couple of rounds now. Robert Shaw

I've never even heard of some of these people getting drafted.

1. Who is the best team in the league? Tennessee. They have the best defence in the league and made the playoffs last year despite a complete liability at the QB position (Young had only 12 TDs combined passing/rushing to go along with 17 INTs and 10 Fumbles). Both their running and passing offences are much improved over last year. 2. Who is the worst team in the league? The Rams. Not even close. They are getting blown out in every game and the players are starting to resemble the crew of the HMS Bounty. 3. Who is going to take a big step forward the next 4 games? San Diego. They started 0-2, but it wasn't really a deserving 0-2. In their next four the only team that is any sort of threat is Buffalo. Just like last year they are going to end up turning things around. 4. Rookie of the year candidates? Chris Johnson. He's a big reason why the Titans are 4-0. 5. Other than Brady, what is the most costly injury to have happened so far? Kendall Simmons. An already weak line gets a whole lot worse. In a best case scenario, Big Ben is going to be looking at a very long season. In a worst case, a very short one. The injuries to RBs Parker and Menderhall are almost as bad. We may be looking at a case where the Ravens lost the battle but won the war on Monday.

I would hope that most people would think the same as I do, that the change from Favre to Rodgers was made for success in years to come, not necessarily this year.
-
I can't see how Linehan keeps his job another week either.
-
It took overtime, but a win is a win.
-
What happened to Boldin? I was flipping between Bucs/Packers and Broncos/Chiefs.
-
I still have nightmares of that Divisional Playoff game in St. Louis a few years back.
-
I always thought this week would be rough, but Rodgers was terrible. We knew there would be weeks like this though. Hell, Favre sure had enough of them himself. My big concern is the injury.

I'm going to take the two leads from the highest grossing film of all-time (adjusted for inflation). They had better chemistry together than probably any two romantic leads ever. Clark Gable Vivien Leigh

Dammit. I thought I could get him later.

Let's Talk About...The Decline of The WWF Tag Team Division
Kahran Ramsus replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
There isn't really one event that we can point too for this. The first major change occurred over the course of the 1991 when the three top teams of the late 80s (Demolition, The Hart Foundation & The Rockers) all broke up and were never really replaced. LOD was around by that point, but after losing the tag titles in early 1992 they limped out of the promotion a few months later as well. The loss of those teams devastated the tag division. Sure the teams were still around, but they didn't have the star power that the former teams had with the exception of Money Inc and you can't build a solid division around heels with no credible challengers. The Steiners, Heavenly Bodies, Headshrinkers & Quebecers helped in 1993 but three of the four were split up the next year and the remaining one (the Bodies) got buried. There just wasn't any talent after that until the Dudleys, Hardys and Edge & Christian started getting pushed in late 99/early 2000. So we either got a bunch of terrible teams with no heat (MOM, Godwins, New Blackjacks, Bodydonnas, etc.) or two single guys being put together (Diesel/HBK, Yoko/Owen, Owen/Bulldog, etc.). The same thing happened again with the breakup/departure of the Dudleys, Hardys and E&C. There was nobody to replace them and those that showed promise (Haas/Benjamin, London/Kendrick) were mishandled. -
With my last two picks and my next two, I'm looking at great actors that can carry their own films. My next two picks had their careers cut short, but they were smoking during their peak. Steve McQueen Princess Grace

I thought it was great, but Dillane should have beaten Wilkinson. His version of Thomas Jefferson was probably the best part of the show.
