I've thought since about Week 2 that Bill would win, but now I'm not so sure. He is being very condescending towards his employees right now, while Kwame is doing a good job himself. Everything that has gone wrong for him right now has been Omarosa's fault and Kwame has done as well has he could given the circumstances. Amy & Nick were clearly weaker than Kwame & Bill and fully deserved to be fired. I don't buy into the Omarosa is a mole theory at all. She's just an incompetent bitch.

Roy & Pedro have quite the pitching duel going on through 5.

Did the Yanks do well today?

That one. It isn't even that close. The Stengel Era would be second, by a fairly wide margin in its own right.

10 Contractors Being Held Hostage In Iraq
Kahran Ramsus replied to Vanhalen's topic in Current Events
I've seen it up here, but certainly not in the US. -
That's the point. I often watch Game more than any other network too. I like competitions, period. Be it two guys wailing on each other in a boxing ring or fighting to get a job with Donald Trump. I like most sports too, except golf which puts me to sleep. You should also keep in mind that there are also both bad (Swan) and good (Apprentice) reality shows out there. 24 is really the only scripted tv show (besides Simpsons) that I watch these days.

Alamo 7/10 Billy Bob owns this movie. Most of the movie is actually really good, but there are a couple big flaws that drag it down. Santa Anna is too much of a cartoon supervillain and the movie goes on for another 15 minutes or so after it should have ended. But all the stuff that actually takes place inside the Alamo, the bulk of the film, is great. Especially the stuff with Davy Crockett. There is a longer cut out there when it was supposed to come out in November, but most of the cut stuff was other stuff that took away from the actual Alamo and the result is what is likely to be a more polished and ultimately better version of the film. It is a good movie, but but a few problems prevent it from becoming great.

When Was Time You Cared About The Tag Belts?

Last year when the WGTT had them and were feuding with the Filthy Animals and Los Guerreros. -
1993. Not only for Bret's performance in his three matches and the fantastic Bret/Perfect match, but also for the three good Doink/Perfect matches in the qualifiers. 1993 was when it seemed the biggest deal. It was also the least predictable with three guys (Bret, Perfect, Luger) that could have easily won it. 1994 was good too, but was hurt by everyone and their mother knowing Owen was going to win.

He turned face again a week or so prior to leaving the company.

Mike is referring to the terrorists, not the good people over there. Sub-human monkeys is not a racist term. It could be used just as easily if they were white. 'Nigger' is universally accepted as an offensive term directly referring to blacks and nobody else.

Jays finally win their first of the year with a 10-5 win at Fenway. Oddly enough the Jays season thus far has gone exactly like my season with them in MVP 2004. If the trend holds, it means the Jays will win a further 19 in a row.

My favourite is Boy-Scoutz N the Hood from Season 5. So many good lines from that episode. Bart: A real Swiss Army knife! Cool! Homer: I stole it from that Borgnine guy. [switch scenes to Ernest Borgnine confronting a bear] Ernest: Don't worry, kids! I'll take care of him with my trusty... ...er, er, um, er, uh, hmm.

Good job by the Sens.

Heroes 1. Daredevil (Ben Affleck) - Without a doubt the Marvel movie hero that I identified the most with. He tries to be a hero, but never seems to do much good. Even by the ending, he saved his soul, but he's still not very successful in what he does. Yet he keeps fighting anyways. Affleck, like him or not, pulls off Murdock very well and his scenes with Jon Favreau are great. 2. Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming) - Probably my favourite X-Man in the comics and cartoons as well. I always found it interesting how the guy who looks like a demon is the most at peace out of everyone. 3. Jean Grey (Famke Jannsen) - Not the greatest performance-wise, but the character has more depth and goes through more than either of her suitors. Most versions of Jean are really annoying, but I like this one. 4. Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) - I always loved Spider-Man as a kid, and I really emphasize with him here as being someone who is not really ready to handle the powers that he has. 5. Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) - He kicks ass, but his character is pretty standard. He is actually better in the first film. In the second, everything he does is pretty much the result of the events and people surrounding him. Villains 1. Magneto (Ian McKellan) - The X-Men movies would be so much worse without him, it is sad to think about it. Aside from the age difference (which they had to change in order to keep him as a Holocaust survivor), his Magneto is tragic and deadly at the same time. 2. Pyro (Aaron Stanford) - Another X-Villain. Stanford perfectly played a character which showed how easy it was for Magneto to gain people for his cause. The scene he shares with McKellan on the Blackbird in X2 is the best in the film. There are subtle things in the performance too. He is the darkside of Iceman. 3. General Thunderbolt Ross (Sam Elliot) - The best character and performance from Hulk. Ross isn't really evil, but does what he believes he has to do to protect people and his own daughter. He sympathizes with Banner, but feels he has no choice but to kill him regardless. 4. Bullseye (Colin Farrell) - An awesome comic character, with plenty of dark humour. Out of all the villains (besides Magneto) he is also the only one that is ever presented as a truly serious threat. The character is in danger of going too over-the-top, but Farrell pulls it off perfectly. 5. William Stryker (Bryan Cox) - The third X2 villain on this list. He is someone who was deeply affected by the actions of others (ie. Jason) and has let it consume him. The human version of Magneto. I just happen to find Magneto more enjoyable, because where Stryker is 100% serious, Magneto can be very mocking and sarcastic at times.

Like hell they were. The last two months before the draft were downright painful to watch.

Oh, I agree that Jackson had no clue what the hell he was getting into and his play indicates that he didn't throw anything. I think he should be let back in. Not the others. Eight Men Out does show sympathy for these guys, but it also shows that they actually did it (besides Jackson) as well.

That is true, but the scandal basically took them out of consideration in my book. They certainly were the most talented team of all time.

I loathed Captain America when I was a kid and left halfway through. It was horrible. When I hated something back then, you knew it stunk.

Best team that I've seen has already been mentioned above. The 1984 Detroit Tigers were awesome. They were completely dominant that year from start to finish. The best team of all time was the 1970 Baltimore Orioles which featured three 20 game winners on route to 108 wins and complete dominance in the post-season by sweeping the Twins in the ALCS and dropping only one in a dismantling of the Big Red Machine in the World Series. The 1971 Orioles would feature FOUR 20 game winners, but this version was the better team.
