Anger is an emotion. One can only hope.

Spider-Man had a good origin sequence, but once Parker graduates from high school the movie completely falls apart. Goblin never seemed like a real threat, at least on the level of Bullseye, the final fight was really weak, and the bridge sequence with the New Yorkers nearly made me gag. The effects are some of the worst I've seen since the beginning of the CGI Era. People complain about the CGI Hulk alot, but it is much better than the CGI Spider-Man. JK Simmons was fantastic, although criminally underused, and like I said, the first third to half of the film was well done. I am looking forward to Spider-Man 2, and I do find Dr. Octopus to be a more interesting villain than the Goblin. I think a lot of the problem with Spider-Man was that, although it was the part of the movie I liked, the origin took so long that they didn't have enough time left to build up a plot for the second half of the movie, so they just threw together some thing with Goblin wanting Spider-Man to work for him and getting pissed when he chooses not too. The next film should be more focused. X-Men doesn't hold up at all. Other than Ian McKellan & Ray Park, there is nothing in that film that stands out and it really feels like it is incomplete. X2 was far more polished with lots of great stuff in it, but it doesn't flow well at all. X2 is less than the sum of its parts. It is a good film, but not what its hyped up to be. More Aaron Stanford and less Halle Berry would have helped as well. I'm worried about X3 though. There are only so many things you can add without it getting too convoluted and with fans screaming for Gambit, Beast, Angel, Colossus, Psyclocke, Apocalypse, Sentinels, Sinister, etc., I am worried that Singer will give in and bring these guys in. There isn't enough time in the films to develop the characters properly now, let alone with 10 other characters coming in. And everyone knows (or should) that Wolverine will still get most of the screentime, whether it makes sense storywise or not.

I honestly think that these are the two best of the Marvel movies thus far, but I have to go with Daredevil. 90% of Hulk is really good, but the ending is just bad. That is enough to make the difference.

Will this film hurt Batman if it flops badly enough?

With the twenty-fifth pick in the 2004 TSM NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select: Darnell Dockett, Defensive Tackle, FSU Darnell Dockett is a playmaking type DT, similar to Tommie Harris. He's a little bit undersized, but he makes up for it with his motor and speed. Despite his size, he's a player in the run game as well as the pass rush. He's got the frame to put on a few pounds, but he'll most likely stay at his current weight and specialize in playing the 1-gap, pass rushing position next to a large space-eating nose tackle like Vince Wilfork.

Detroit moves to 3-0 as once again I try to figure out what went wrong. With Boston coming up, it looks like another terrible April for the Jays.

Where are all those rings from the last three years?

Didn't I hear that from Yankees fans after the opener in Japan?

Fair enough reasoning.

He has until 2 Flyboy.

Too bad it wasn't Clemens. Toronto fans hate him too.

Looks like Toronto is going down again. 7-3 in the 9th.

The third one was better with the addition of supermoves.

Oh we will. This isn't a thread on the MLB season. It is a thread about the actual games themselves. This is the MLB equivalent to the OAO Raw threads.
-
It won't be too bad. Many people lose interest as the season wears on. I really don't see the need to close it. The reason for these OAO threads is to keep this stuff concentrated in one space. I don't see any reason to close it.

Must you be a bearer of bad news? Actually, it is the staff that I would worry about.

You'll love them even more when half of them are in the hospital by June.

Huh, What happened? It looks like an ankle injury. He slipped on the way to second base trying to avoid a tag by Orlando Hudson.

Dimitri Young is down painfully. I would make new plans if you are counting on him for your fantasy squads.

Detroit is picking up where they left off yesterday afternoon.

Duggan used to be a great worker pre-WWF. I have to go with Mable. I can't think of him having a single match above *, yet he was around for years, won a KOTR and was the #1 Contender at the second biggest show of the year. Worst actual big star was Kevin Nash. Sid & Nash were pretty much equally terrible when it came to actual skills, but Sid at least had enthusiasm which made it easier to withstand his matches. Nash was just slow and dull. Nash also sank not one, but TWO promotions due to shitty title runs.

It looks like Kip Wells had a great game for my fantasy team. Add the Phillies to the list of good eastern teams that got beat by crap on opening day.
