I agree. I don't think Sting could have sustained his heat once he became champ, when everybody found out he was the same old Sting in a new outfit. WCW's real biggest mistake was ruining Goldberg's first title run. He was right there with Austin in 1998 and yet he was stuck fighting guys like Al Green for most of the second half of 1998 and didn't even appear on many shows. And then after that when Hogan was gone after Havoc and they finally had a chance to build around Goldberg (and were even building an interesting Goldberg/Bigelow feud) they just job him to Nash and stick him back down the card. Can you imagine Austin winning the WWF Title at Wrestlemania XIV only to be fighting guys like the Oddities in the midcard while old guys like Undertaker, Ron Simmons and Vader continue to clog up the main events and then he jobs to Taker at Summerslam never to get another title shot? The WWF would probably be dead and buried and it is exactly what happened in WCW.

He should have had 3 TDs. That Driver pass would have really helped his stats.
-
The Vikings aren't very good at playing the pass either even with Allen. Rodgers picked them apart.

Yes! My suicide pick comes through. I was screaming at the television for Bigby to get his ass down on the interception though. Unless the Packers make the playoffs, this will probably end up being their most important game of the year. They really needed to win this.

My next pick is my favourite living actress, and one of the most versatile actors out there, male or female. She can play almost literally anything. Cate Blanchett I also need a real evil bastard. I'm fortunate that I can get one that is also more than capable of being a lead actor. Ralph Fiennes

I was thinking the same thing when I saw Favre's pass go incomplete on the conversion attempt.
-
Fuck! I used a first round pick on him in fantasy. I'm done if I have to send Garrard out there every week.

What? I ahven't watched a Dolphins game in years. Since when do they wear white at home? For like 30 years. Dallas and Washington also wear white at home.

I appear to be getting KC @ NE, SEA @ BUF and NYJ @ MIA. There is no question that the game I want to see is Favre going for the Jets.

Only 0.16% of Yahoo Users agree with me. Ouch.

New York started well enough, but they weren't so hot after the first quarter or so aside from Jacobs. Given that the Redskins were completely wretched, they should have easily had more than 16 points, but the Giants could have just been taking things easy by that point so it is really hard to tell how good they will be.
-
I had the Redskins making the playoffs, but I am seriously doubting that pick now. I haven't seen play calling that bad since Art Shell got fired.

Looks like I goofed with this pick in the KKKBowl. Campbell looks godawful at this point.
-
I'd support just a random draw for the seeds. It is the most fair way of doing it.

I PMd mine.

I would have loved Russell Crowe, so I will have to go with Plan B. Liam Neeson I'll also grab my second director. Peter Jackson

The Vikings should be playoff contenders, but they are overrated because most people say they are Super Bowl contenders which they clearly aren't. They'd get smoked by teams like Dallas.

For my first pick I am going with a man who was once the biggest movie star in the world and a perfect foil for O'Toole along with being a great leading man in his own right. Richard Burton For my second pick I get my favourite director of all-time. He is an absolute legend and a huge inspiration for no lesser names than Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorcese and Stanley Kubrick, among others. David Lean

Nice pick with Nolan. He's made my favourite film of the year for three of the past four years. The other guy was already drafted earlier.

I'm picking risky this week. Not as risky as those 0.08% of users that picked Kansas City, but still...
