Its there. Although the villain gets the romance subplot instead of the hero. Jowy & Jillia Blight
-
The first one is extremely short.

Suikoden II is by far the best game of the series, but I am a fan of all three. I have not played the Suikogaiden games or Card Stories, or read any of the print stuff. For the longest time I had a portrait of Yuber from SII as my avatar. Jowy Blight is my favourite villain (and character overall) in RPG history. SII also has the best major battle format of the three games. SII was actually the first of the series that I played. I got it from Zellers for $30 a couple of years ago. I spent the longest time looking for I, but I guess it got re-released or something because after 9 months it could be found everywhere.

Henry signed an 8-year contract in 1996. That means he'll be fired soon, right? RIGHT? It was a 10 year contract.

That part of the film was good. The Goblin stuff that they crammed into the second half was not. And I loved Daredevil. I can't really explain it, because when I think about it, I probably should hate the film, but I don't. Hulk was probably the best of the Marvel films, but enjoyed Daredevil more. X2 had numerous good scenes (ex. Nightcrawler opener) and great characters (ex. Pyro, Magneto, Stryker), but the film didn't flow well and the film as a whole was less than the sum of its parts. X-Men 1 had the same problems, but was a lesser film. Spider-Man has a great first half and awful conclusion.

I haven't heard anybody said it was going to. Titanic has over twice as much as the #2 film (Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone). What we said was that ROTK should easily takeover the #2 spot, and possibly get over $1 Billion (Titanic grossed approx. $1.8 Billion).

This exists in MLB too. I can barely remember who is on who's team anymore. It is far worse in MLB among the name players. In the NFL, at least I can identify Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Randy Moss, Steve McNair, etc with their various teams. You don't see NFL teams dumping off the best player in the game because they can't afford him like you do with A-Rod, they simply cut a bunch of less well-known players to make room for the big name guy. I would rather see 100 Vonnie Holliday's jump ship, than one Brett Favre. The two leagues that have the most player movement are the NHL & MLB, the two that happen to not have salary caps. The salary cap is needed otherwise Dan Snyder will just sign up all the talent. The players will still move in large numbers, just all to one or two teams instead of several. It will happen as long as free agency exists.

NHL - 1994 - Present. First the strike, then the trap killed this league. MLB - 1994 - Present. MLB & the NHL have basically mirrored each other. First a strike, then ballooning player salaries, a lack of parity, and a game changing element (in this case, the large number of HRs) made the game itself less exciting. NFL - Early-Mid 1980s. This was the period of labour strife in the NFL, and the transition period from the great 70s & 90s eras. Things were getting better by the time the Niners won their 3rd Super Bowl, and the greatest team of all time (the 1985 Chicago Bears) helped reduce the damage somewhat. NBA - 1998 - Present. The NBA built themselves around a single star (Michael Jordan) and when he retired after the Bulls final championship, the league could never hope to replace him. Today's game is dull as dishwater, and the West is so stacked, that the Finals aren't even competitive.

I hope its the Leafs, kill two birds with one stone. Realistically, it is probably Washington.

According to prowrestlinghistory.com both Mo & Warlord lasted 3 seconds, so we have to go to tenths of a second at least.
-
Mo ran to the ring, across the ring, and out of the ring before you could even tell who was coming out. I can't see anyone lasting shorter than that. Certainly Luke lasted longer, but I haven't seen 1989 in awhile.

The Dames' Diatribe on WWE Raw - 1/12/04

So he's better than RVD? That's like congratulating Rick Mirer for being better than Rob Johnson. Van Dam is awful. -
WWE News: Randy Orton, Edge, Spanky, More
Kahran Ramsus replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Why is everyone going to RAW? They have more guys as it is. -
Ronin is from the last ten years, isn't it? And I don't remember CGI with it.
-
He's heading for Japan.
-
Apparently Fassell was a really shitty interview for most of the vacant positions.
-
I haven't played Baldur's Gate. ROTK is a hack 'em slash 'em beat 'em up type game.
-
Twisted Metal Black is kind of old, but it is a good multiplayer game. I believe their is a co-op mode in Return of the King too, but I have only played single player so I can't comment on how good it is.
-
Here's a second mention of the Paris chase in Ronin. The earlier Nice chase in the same film isn't too shabby either.
-
Sorry, missed that.

Mario Kart, Mario Golf, Mario Party, etc, tend to be popular with the ladies.

He wasn't gutless, he was just stupid.

What were your favorite bloopers / fluck-ups
Kahran Ramsus replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in Television & Film
nope not true. this isn't one of those urban legends it is legit. Although it wasn't a midget commiting suicide like everyone has been saying lately, he just got caught in the lighting wiring and was hung, it is legit though, I will try and find a press release. This IS the myth that will not die. The THREE MEN AND A BABY myth was the second coming of this for a while... http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/ozsuicid.htm -
WCW was dead before DVDs really hit it big.

What Women Want came out in 2000. The only 2003 film Gibson was in was The Singing Detective, in which he is barely recognizable. His last film before that was Signs in August 2002.
