The Hulk made $241,752,288 at the box office. You are simply stating the domestic gross which ends up meaning nothing, but looks good on the 6 O'Clock news. X2 was okay, but there was really no substance to it. It was just a fun action movie. Hulk was something more. Of course the dumb teenies that can't sit still for 5 minutes without some fighting wouldn't like it, but they would be bored by The Godfather too. I still shudder whenever I hear someone say Pirates of the Carribbean was better than Master and Commander.

I wouldn't have said it three weeks ago, but they really are hot right now and as much as I hate to say it, the death of Favre's father has been a boost to the morale of this club. They remind me of the 2002 Jets. A mediocre team that just happens to be playing its best football come playoff time. They almost beat both Philly & KC (when they were good) this year. They can be tough. I would put them at #2 in the NFC at this point. Carolina, Dallas and St Louis are all cold right now and Seattle isn't a very good team at all, especially on the road. In the AFC, it would be more difficult but Green Bay only has one real tough game on the road to the Super Bowl (@ PHI) and they already showed that they can beat them. I don't think they can win the Super Bowl, but they have a good chance to get there and after that, who knows? They will certainly make mincemeat out of the Seahawks at the very least.

Pittsburgh always plays Baltimore strong. This would actually be a more difficult game than the Titans at home. Baltimore seems to own them.

The 'experts' tend not to be much more knowledgable than us. They almost always pick the favourite, and if they do go out on a limb it is often a stupid pick like Buffalo over New England or something. Several on this board, including myself, saw the Chiefs losing to the Bengals a month in advance, but the 'experts' were caught off-guard for the most part. These are the same guys who picked Oakland to win the Super Bowl last year, when anyone with half a brain could see how dominant Tampa was at the time. No, nobody knows who will win the Super Bowl, but it is generally pretty easy to pick out the contenders (New England, Baltimore, Denver, Indianapolis, Green Bay, Philadelphia, Dallas) from the pretenders (Seattle, St Louis, Kansas City, Carolina, Tennessee). Tennessee, Dallas & Indianapolis are sort of bordeline teams, but the others are firmly entrenched in their respective categories.

I certainly never said that. I just thought that New England couldn't beat them. Pittsburgh or Oakland easily could. The NFC this year is weaker than the AFC in 2001. The Eagles are good and the Packers have been coming on strong, but everybody else limped into the playoffs. If neither Green Bay or Philly (or possibly Dallas, but unlikely) makes the Super Bowl, just hand it over to the AFC champion. Carolina has shown me nothing, and Seattle & St Louis have no chance. The teams to watch in the AFC are New England, Baltimore & Denver. If the Colts get hot, they could be a challenge, but it looks like another late season meltdown for them based on how they have performed the last couple of weeks. Kansas City can't stop the running games of any of the wildcard teams (it would be hilarious to see Jamal run against them), and the Titans just don't have enough talent to hang with the big boys (McNair can't do it all). With the exception of the red hot Packers and the turnover crazy Rams, look for the teams with good running games and good defenses. New England's lack of a running game concerns me, and would be their downfall if they lose, but they appear to be far and away the best team right now. The only team I can truly see beating them is Baltimore. They are not as good, but if it came down to a single game and they got a good performance from Wright they would be fearsome. They would be the last team I would want to face if I was on one of the teams with higher seeds.

St. Louis has no chance of winning in Philly so they better hope that they lose in the divisional playoffs. I didn't think their chances of beating Philly at home were that great. The Rams commit too many turnovers, and Mike Moron would certainly find a way to lose. As for Minnesota, they lost to the Cardinals, Raiders & Chargers this year. Pathetic. I really can't see them going anywhere for as long as Moss is on the team. He is too much of a cancer. Ditch him and pick up TO. He's an ass, but he is able to run routes and plays hard. Moss makes the offense too one-dimensional. WRs are too streaky to build your team around them to begin with.

This was the best of the Marvel films. Finally a serious superhero film rather than the repetitive smash 'em bash 'em stuff of pretty much everything else.

BEST - WCW/NWO Revenge (N64) WORST - WWF King of the Ring (GameBoy) Royal Rumble was awesome back in its day. Where else can you play as Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Randy Savage, Ted Dibiase, Bret Hart & Curt Hennig in the same game? You even got Tatanka & Crush for laughs. I believe it was also the first console WWF game to feature a Royal Rumble match and the first since Wrestlemania Challenge to have seperate movesets and finishers. I played that thing on the SNES for months. Pretty much until RAW came out.

I can't see Seattle winning @SF next week, so they will be out and both the Packers & Vikings make the playoffs.

It was the best WWF game better, but it wasn't the best in the series. WCW/NWO Revenge was more fun to play because of the greater mix of performers. Everyone seems to wrestle the same generic WWF Style in No Mercy. In Revenge, playing Hulk Hogan is not the same as playing Booker T which is not the same as playing Juventud Guerrera. The roster is much better in Revenge.

Survivor Series 5. No Mercy 6. Summerslam 7. Backlash. Things really begin to bottom out around here. 8. Unforgiven 9. Judgment Day 10. Badd Blood 11. Armageddon 12. No Way Out. Just awful with three negative star matches to end the show.

No kidding. Never mind the fact that the brand extension has been better for business (in a way) their payoffs are lower. End the extension. Yes. That way we can get Benoit & Eddy jobbing on Velocity while HHHMania runs wild over every show. Guys like the WGTT & Rey Misterio wouldn't even be employed if it wasn't for the brand extension. The brand extension is the only thing saving WWE at the moment. I don't think anyone wants to go back to early 2002 with HHH & Steph eating up every segment on both shows and Jericho left cleaning up dogshit (literally).

Ian Holm. His Bilbo is just a delight to watch on screen. He steals every seen he is in, even those opposite McKellan.

Seattle gets in and Minny doesn't after losing their final two games. They don't stand a chance against Kansas and @ Arizona is tougher than you might think. They almost beat Carolina there this week and they are a much better team than the Vikings.

So how about those Vikings? And next week they get the Chiefs, so it doesn't get easier. Green Bay will win the North.

Students don't have a right to unregulated free speech on school campuses. That's why some schools charge kids quarters if they swear (something I've seen in action before), that's why any school will not you promote drug use, etc. But when a school doesn't allow someone to where a Bush = Terrorist T-Shirt, you guys complain?
