The problem with Han not shooting first is twofold. 1. It looks completely idiotic that Greedo would miss from three feet away. The blaster bolt doesn't even go the same way the gun is pointed. 2. It impacts Han's character arc that shows him go from ruthless criminal to hero by the end of the film. There is some good stuff in the SEs too. I greatly enjoy the expanded looks at Mos Eisley and Cloud City.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I also though Morpheus would die. Mentor types have a very poor track record as far as surviving in fantasy stories.
-
Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I know it is probably more realistic given how she died, but it sure makes for boring cinema. At least it isn't as bad as Phantom Menace where Qui-Gon gets a lightsabre through the heart, lies there as Maul/Obi-Wan fight for another ten minutes, and then gets to have the big speech.

I liked the movie, but it is the weakest of the trilogy as most third movies are. It is merely the resolution. Most of the interesting stuff generally happens in the first two acts, and this is no different. Two things really bugged me. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): 1. The ten hours it took Trinity to die. I hate dying speeches in general, but this just went on for ever. I much prefer it when people go like Reese in Terminator. It has far more impact if somebody is dead before it is able to set in. 2. Neo's stupidity in his conversation with Bane/Smith. I kept wanting to slap him when it was obvious that Bane was Smith.

And that is what is wrong with this company. If HHH complains, Vince should tell him to go fuck himself and do his job.

It doesn't look like Rock will be available though.

The match I wanted to see was Benoit, Angle, Cena & Los Guerreros vs. Lesnar, Big Show, A-Train & WGTT.
-
They were originally going to release it in June, but when it started getting Oscar buzz they switched it to November in order to have a better chance.
-
For about 2 minutes.

Another Wrestlemania match I would love to see, and would be gold if they did it properly, would be Spanky & London defeating Benjamin & Haas to win the Tag Titles.

Supposedly so Goldberg can put Brock over huge, but since this is Goldberg he will probably refuse. I should probably add that there is one way that Angle/Benoit would greatly interest me, and that is if they made it a 60 Minute Iron Man for the WWE Title. I know they just had one between Brock & Angle, so it won't happen, but the audience has been trained since early 2000 to regard Angle & Benoit as the two best technical wrestlers in the company and they are the two that would most benefit from going the 60.
-
Have him win the title in easy fashion when you can rely on Brock/Angle II to help out the show, then do Goldberg/HBK at Unforgiven.
-
If they get Storm from RAW in exchange for Hardy they can build him up as a serious heel challenger and use him.

Armaggeddon is what they should have saved the Elimination Chamber for instead of wasting it at Summerslam when they didn't need too.

Eddy/Angle fought in the Smackdown Six days, but not in a meaningfull match. I'm not even sure if they actually did fight one on one. Cena would be a better choice for US Champ for the time being. But I would have him take the US Title at No Way Out and then defend (successfully) against someone like Chavo at Mania.
-
Angle/Eddy is one of two big matches Smackdown has right now, the other being Benoit/Brock. One of them should be the Wrestlemania main event. Brock/Angle, Benoit/Angle and Benoit/Eddy have been done too much to be a Wrestlemania World Title match, although I would rather have them then something not involving these guys. It is too early for Cena to be maineventing Wrestlemania (try for XXI), and nobody else is even close to that level.

I have no problem with Lesnar, Show or A-Train being on the team. Matt Morgan & Nathan Jones don't belong because there is no reason to care about them. Jones in particular has other problems, but they have to do with why I don't think he should be employed, not directly why he shouldn't be in this match.

I used to play this all the time until Revenge came out, and I still haven't played a wrestling game this much since. We use to have constant WCW vs. NWO battles with Flair, Eddy, Benoit, Malenko & Misterio vs. Hogan, Nash, Hall, Syxx & 'Sting'. We would always fight over who would get stuck with the terrible NWO guys.
-
I'm pretty sure that happens in Revenge too.
-
Besides, we all know the real RAW main event is the Shane McMahon match.

I had hoped the deaths of Hawk & Hennig made an impact, but apparently I was wrong.

I think he is. And I'm glad that you are intelligent enough to show your disgust by voting for a third party instead of simply not voting. That never works.

The NHL much like MLB needs a hard NFL style salary cap to survive. Hockey is in even worse shape because it doesn't have the popularity in the US that baseball does.
-
They should. How much of a push did they get compared to Benoit in the same period? You have to take that into account. Benoit drew an exceptionally high number given how he's been treated. RVD didn't.

Merchandise isn't a good representation of how big a draw someone is. Like Scott Keith always says 'Gimmicks sell shirts, characters sell tickets.'
