Umm...can't you just take whatever history course you like? I mean if you are taking Europe in the 19th Century, chances are it is going to be Eurocentric. Same as if you take Feudal Japan, chances are it won't focus on the Middle East. Europe (Britain, Spain & France, with Portugal, Holland & Sweden less so) are the dominant forces in American history. If you aren't talking primarily about them, then you are in a pretty piss poor US History class. And I doubt that any grade school US History course, let alone university level doesn't go into depth about things like slavery.

In some cases it is, in some it isn't. You can usually get better buys on DVDs and stuff at say Future Shop, but in terms of its direct competition (all-purpose chains like Zellers), Wal-Mart is much cheaper. I look for deals if they happen to have sales anywhere, but Wal-Mart's regular prices tend to be cheaper and certainly better than Zellers or the now defunct K-Mart. Better quality too most of the time, and certainly easier to find what you are looking for. When I'm at my cottage in the summer, I usually am stuck shopping at these places, but often I have to drive an hour to Peterborough (or Orillia) to go to Wal-Mart simply because nobody else has what I'm looking for. Believe me, I try.

You could double the amount of C02 in the atmosphere, and global temps would only go up 0.5 C.

Is that the one? That's the one.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but when ratings drop as quickly as they did with the one month title runs of Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan in 2002, then I think they have to take the majority of the blame. In Shawn's case it took a few weeks to get back to pre-Shawn levels, while they never have gotten back to pre-Hogan levels. Besides, Michaels had eight months the first time and still flopped.
