Who else picked Chicago besides me?
-
TD catch by Donald Driver off of a fumble by Alexander. 7-0 Pack.
-
I get Bears/Raiders, Bills/Bengals & Packers/Seahawks.
-
Watch Oakland lose the next two now.

Steph getting demoted. This is the only thing that really helps the company as a whole. Besides without her, Eddy will probably be World Champion anyways.
-
Tape trading isn't big enough of a problem for anybody to care. It isn't exactly the huge numbers that download music.
-
I don't think he should get all of either. He should get a good proportion of it, but there are other people that influence the product. If we had perfect writing, but Benoit, Eddy, etc simply decided to stop trying and slap on chinlocks for the entire match, the product would be terrible and it would be as much their fault as it is Vince's. If Patrick Ramsey is the next Johnny Unitas and the Skins win the Super Bowl, Dan Snyder shouldn't be the one getting all of the credit. Steph is in charge of creative right now, and it is her end of the company that is failing. Steph (and HHH) are the problems here. Vince isn't blameless (he can remove her, but doesn't), but if Steph actually did her job the company wouldn't be in the mess it is.

I will say this about Vince. Unlike his daughter or soon-to-be son-in-law, Vince has no problem letting someone get over on him.

All I have to say is that after Cajun Spice, Pyro is my new favourite character.

Where did this come from anyways? In Canada the stereotypical Englishman is drunk and violent. Sort of like a Scotsman without the kilt.
-
That isn't saying much. It is still a terrible rating.
-
Vince's biggest problem is that he allows his kids (particularly, Steph) to get away with too much. Vince will never demote her, no matter how much she runs WWE into the ground. That said, I dislike Steph (and HHH) far more than Vince. She's the one directly responsible for this mess.

More people watched Coach/JR than RVD/Xian

I don't really blame either guy for this and I am far from an RVD backer. You can't just throw guys in the main event after burying them for two years over a belt that is arguably the least valuable in the promotion (along with the World Tag) in a gimmick match that people are sick of. RVD may draw or he may not (I go with the latter), but we won't know until he is actually given a fair chance. You can't just throw guys in the main event without building them up first or people won't accept it (witness Cena fighting Brock earlier this year). -
Vince & Stepnh were on more before the split than they are now. I can't believe that nobody remembers this. Remember when she fought for the WWF Title?

It has been proven that being taped has minimal affect on Smackdown's ratings. Also, RAW does NOT get higher ratings than Smackdown on a regular basis and in fact Smackdown was trouncing RAW all last winter. You have to remember that cable ratings and network ratings are not the same. RAW drew a 3.6 this week (I think?), the network equivalent would be approximately 2.8. Smackdown should in all likelyhood beat RAW this week. They have been pretty even most of the summer, with the exception of the first couple weeks of Kane's run.

The other reason was that they already had to introduce Arwen, Gimli, Legolas, Boromir & Elrond within a short time of each other. Glorfindel serves no other purpose in the story, and Jackson thought it would be too many character intros for the casual audience to take in such a short time.
-
It was done because nobody would care about Arwen if she didn't actually do anything. Out of people I know, everyone who read the books first wanted Aragorn to end up with Eowyn, and everyone who saw the movie first wanted him to end up with Arwen.

The amazing QB Class of '99. Remember how much they booed Donovan? I bet it's still in the back of his mind... Yeah. Class of 83 it aint.
-
McNabb was also th best of a crop of QBs that ended up being busts. Compared to Smith, Couch & McNown, McNabb is fantastic.

O'Toole won, so I get a partial victory. It looks like the NDP might not get enough seats, so that makes me happy as well.
-
Well...Congrats are in order for the Liberals. I just wonder what promise they are going to break. They can't pay for everything they want without raising taxes, so we'll see.
-
Currently tied 3-3 between Liberals & PC.
-
What riding are you in RRR?
-
The east always votes PC, Quebec always votes for the seperatists, Ontario always votes Liberal, and the west votes Alliance (except Saskatchewan which votes NDP). In 1993, the Liberals literally won nothing outside of Ontario, but one all but one seat in Ontario and still won a majority. This country is extremely divided right now. Hmm? I could've sworn that in '93 Chretien KILLED Campbell by like 146 seats to 2 or something. I am almost positive on this. Yes, you are right. I am thinking of the next election (1997?).
