On one hand, I do like that it will get me a better team. On the other, I don't like constantly having to wait 16 or 24 hours or whatever between picks.
-
There's one pick that I made that I would have passed on if I had known that my backup pick would still be around this late. I still can't believe he hasn't been picked yet.
-
He's Too Mean. Ed Jones is Too Tall. He's also the guy I was going to pick.
-
I have now.

QB: Fran Tarkenton RB: Walter Payton WR: None TE: None T: Walter Jones G: Randall McDaniel, Will Shields C: None DE: None DT: Bob Lilly LB: Bill George CB: Champ Bailey S: None P: None K: None Coach: Don Shula It is a little sad as a Packers fan having a team filled with Vikings, Bears & Cowboys.

Anyways, I found Get Smart to be quite enjoyable. Alan Arkin, James Caan & the Great Khali (channeling Jaws) are hilarious.

Can one of the mods update the first page by any chance? It is much easier to find out who has been picked than going through every post.

The first half of Transformers (aside from the Blackout & Scorponok fights) was incredibly boring. I was just not engaged by any of the idiot human characters at all. It is okay after John Turturro shows up. He sucks in this film, but it marks the turning point.
-
Willie Davis was the other guy I was looking at in this round. He was. Canadian Brandon took him.
-
They did hint at it earlier in the film, but he's there as a nod to the series, just like with Agent 13 hiding in the tree in Washington earlier.

All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

Badd Company should have been gone ages ago. -
Nagurski's a great pick, but he didn't really fit my team.
-
He probably should have been, but I certainly don't remember him being picked and I did a search on the front page and it came up empty. Both guys I was interested in were still available, but I felt that with what I wanted to do that I need a dominant offensive line. The other pick would have been something else entirely, but I strongly considered it.

With all the strong defenses out there, it is time to build a wall of beef that can stand up to them and enhance the productivity of my team's biggest star, Walter Payton. He is a great player, a great leader, and a potential first ballot Hall of Famer. G Will Shields * 12x Pro Bowl selection (1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006) * 9x All-Pro selection (1996, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006) * 2003 Walter Payton Man of the Year * 1992 Consensus All-American * 1992 Outland Trophy I modestly have Payton pencilled in for about 8000 yards this year.

There's two guys I wanted with this pick. Now I am guaranteed to get one of them.
-
Gert's gone with a similar strategy to me thus far (several of his picks are exactly who I would have taken in the same spot) so he's definitely in my top 3. I'm also really liking CanadianChris & Gobby.

Time to shore up the ol' offense with a guy who's got probably my favourite name in all of sports. It just flows together like poetry, and gets me a little weepy while saying it. He's also a 12 time Pro Bowler that I'm stealing in the eighth round. G Randall McDaniel * 12x Pro Bowl selection (1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000) * 9x All-Pro selection (1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998) * NFL 1990s All-Decade Team

I just knew that the wheels would be coming off the bus this year. But it astonishes me how much the Jays have brought this on themselves.
-
I'm taking a beating between these two picks. Brown, Dierdorf, Webster, Hein & Eller were all guys that I was looking at.
-
That at least makes me feel a little bit better.
-
Boo! It is one thing to lose a guy to someone who really wants him. It is especially painful when he gets taken as an afterthought after they missed out on somebody else. I deliberately didn't mention Graham by name earlier, but him being the 15th QB taken is shameful.
-
With some of the other QBs still on the board, I really don't understand that McNabb pick. Two guys in particular are often placed in the top 10-15 players ever at any position, and still haven't been drafted.
-
There's no maybe about it.
-
Well, once again Gert T and I were thinking in the same ballpark. This time it was same position, different player. I'm picking a guy who has been described as the meanest Bear ever, which is saying a lot with that franchise, and the first star MLB in NFL history. MLB Bill George Inducted into Hall of Fame in 1974 8-time Pro Bowler & 8-time first-team All-Pro NFL 1950s All-Decade Team

Wow. Six coaches in and I still get my #1. Honestly, I planned on this pick here before the first one was even selected. He's had more success for a longer period of time, for more completely different styles of teams than any other coach who has ever lived. He also holds the NFL's version of Cy Young's MLB win's record, the one NFL record that will never be approached let alone bested. He led the only Perfect Season of the Super Bowl era and has coached in more of them than any other. Don Shula # 2x Super Bowl champion (VII, VIII) # 5x AFC Championship winner (1971, 1972, 1973, 1982, 1984) # 1x NFL Championship winner (1968) # 11x Division title winner # Most regular-season wins (347) # Most Super Bowl appearance as Head coach (6) Landry was my #2. My #3 is still on the board.
