Warfield is a guy I thought would have been wrongfully overlooked so good eyes on that one. He doesn't get talked about nearly as much as he probably should. It is because aside from the truly great ones, they are a dime a dozen and not nearly as integral to a team as some other positions like quarterbacks or defensive linemen. Basically there are a ton of good WRs out there and not that many legendary ones and they don't play one of the more important positions, so people are holding back drafting them. There are two or three on my radar left and after that I'll probably be waiting awhile for a WR myself.

Most of the guys going now are the guys I figured would be taken before I picked again. I love the Marshall Faulk pick. He should have been gone a round earlier. I'm really glad I went with Tarkenton now, because Staubach was the guy that I was targetting at QB before this draft with the idea I'd go after other positions first. Then it turns out Tarkenton drops and Staubach goes later in the same round, so I would have missed out had I passed on Tarkenton and taken Hutson instead. There are still a ton of multi-time Pro Bowlers out there too.

Granted. But Hutson was the first true superstar which is what I was getting at.

Ordinarily I would have gone with Hutson as he's a top five player all-time, but I simply felt that QB is a more important position than WR and that there was quite a drop after Tarkenton. Make no mistake though, he's the guy that put professional football on the map.

I wasn't planning on going in this direction, but there is one true stud QB left in my estimation and I really can't afford to pass him up. He was the first true mobile quarterback and was a pioneer that paved the way for an entire generation of quarterbacks to come. I know what you mean. Every time I play, some asshole keeps picking Luigi Circuit over and over again. It wouldn't be as bad if it wasn't the most boring, luck-dependent track in the entire game.

Kevin Nash. His moves were executed so lazily that they look like they wouldn't hurt anybody. Compare that to someone like Sid who has equal or less talent, but who at least looked like he was destroying people in the ring. And of course the usual oafs like Mongo McMichael.

Most of the time I would consider those two options to be one and the same. Unless there happens to be a talented player that is a complete asshole and horrible teammate.

Well, the guy I want is still there so I would have had him if we had a 12 team draft. He's going to go soon though, I imagine.

I have him close to Reggie White, so getting him almost a full round later is incredible.

I've been having some major problems with this site, and I see there have been lots of picks so it may just be. Has anybody else been noticing this problem? Elway & Unitas were my top two QBs so getting them at the end of the first round is amazing. Munoz is also a fantastic pick in the second round. He's the Jerry Rice of offensive linemen.

I am very surprised Moon went that high, not as much that Montana dropped just because people are very divided as to who the top QBs are. I would have drafted Marino before Montana too.
