We Have Us An Iron Man

I can think of at least four actors in the series who got killed off only to come back in a later film. -

The Lord was great. Too bad he was such a dick. -

Wright wasn't even the first black guy to play Leiter. Leiter's been basically everything but a woman by this point anyways. -
Yeah, most of the ones I remember outside Ottawa are gone. There are still two in Ottawa -- one on St. Laurent just south of Innes, and one on St. Joseph Blvd. in Orleans. The one on Carling and Richmond (near my condo) closed in a dispute with the landlord several years ago, which sucked. That's right. I remember the one on St. Laurent, but I never go into Orleans.

They used to have St. Hubert's all over the place in Ontario back 15-20 years ago, but I haven't seen one in years. Agreed on The Works.

I want to see if I can improve on my second place finish from last year.
-
Exactly. How is it that starting too soon ruined Ryan Leaf but not Peyton Manning who started his first game the same day that Leaf did?
-
I still think the Raiders should not have passed on a talent the level of Calvin Johnson.
-
Since Mike Tyson really. OJ Simpson was at least retired.

Baltimore and New England in back to back weeks? I'm starting to see your point now. Schedule aside though, I still think he should start.

Look at this way. Jeff Fisher starting Kerry Collins over Vince Young last year probably cost the Titans a playoff berth. You start the QB with the best chance to win. We already know that Frye & Anderson aren't going to cut it. Why not try Quinn? In the worst case scenario they lose games that they would have lost anyways.
-
Normally I don't like starting QBs right away but in this case I'll make an exception, and it has more to due with the crap in front of Quinn than his own performance in garbage time in the pre-season. I think we all know what is going to happen here. The Browns will start 0-4/0-5 then they will throw Quinn to the wolves when the team has already blown its season in the first month. If anything that will only hurt Quinn. At least if he starts opening day he will have something to play for.

If Vick had done to human beings what he supposedly did to these dogs, I guarantee there wouldn't be any discussion about his future career plans.

If people have a history of bad behaviour, they aren't going to get the same benefit of the doubt as somebody who doesn't. These guys have earned their reputation and have nobody but themselves to blaim when people no longer trust them.

What if? (Historical Events version)
Kahran Ramsus replied to Scarlett_Rayne's topic in Current Events
Right. The only American pack animal was the llama and even they were only in the south. Possibly. Remember though that he had a lot of help from the Tlaxcalans and other Mesoamerican allies that hated the Aztecs and were more than happy to help eliminate them. The Amerindians were bigger, stronger and healthier than the inital Europeans. They also had a far more uniform genetic makeup that allowed for the easy spread of disease once it took hold in the population. -
I haven't had my dish go out in about three years and we get the crummiest weather known to man in southern Ontario. Now there are definitely perks to cable (On Demand), but the weather issue is not nearly as bad as advertised unless the dish was improperly installed or their are some other line of sight issues preventing a good signal in the first place. The big advantage is that satellite is available everywhere. Sure you might get good cable service in downtown Toronto, but what happens when you head up to your cottage in Muskoka?

Wrestlescale - Results You are central in your beliefs about wrestling. You accept the idea of both old-school and sports entertainment but you are not extreme in either way. You believe that angles and matches are equally important to create a good wrestling product. Most similar booker: Paul Heyman Most similar promotion: ECW 1996 Got any feedback on the poll? We would love to hear it so we can improve the Wrestlescale project. Click here

My favourite WWF Faction remains the 1988-1989 version of the Heenan Family with Andre the Giant, Rick Rude, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard & Haku. Anything with Heenan in those days was fantastic, but that was the strongest roster for the group.

I remember two from MVP 2005 that really stand out. Both with the Blue Jays, I had St. Louis offer me Chris Carpenter straight up for Chris Woodward and I had Baltimore offer me Brian Roberts for Howie Clark. I gladly accepted both.

They still do. Film fans however generally consider, if not Prisoner of Azkaban to be the best of the series, at least the point where the series greatly improved.

WWE General Discussion for August 2007
Kahran Ramsus replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
The travel schedule is as much of a problem as the actual in-ring time. Even if one of the wrestlers doesn't actually wrestle, he would still have twice as many shows that he has to attend. -
WWE General Discussion for August 2007
Kahran Ramsus replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Exactly. Much like the draft, ending the split would not only do nothing to resolve the problem (the RAW creative team) but actually spread it. Meanwhile, the top guys now work twice as much at the same time the company is dealing with numerous injuries and the US Congress breathing down their necks. This is just a disaster waiting to happen if they go through with it.
